If you drive the championship in your career then only the degree of difficulty or the number of stages and rallies increases and that was it ! very boring.

I would give up my right arm to get this! I truly would! Here's another composition of, what are now, quadruplets! I would love to release them but can't because of this limitation.

Hello - I was led to believe GRiD 2019 will be getting split screen like the previous two versions of GRID had - when is this feature likely to be added? Thanks

Having received vehicles through the DLC (which I'd rather have earned), I've found out career mode lets you start a championship with any vehicle right off the bat. It begs the question, what am I working towards? To make matters worse, the AI isn't putting up a fight. Freeplay does have you go through the Historic vehicle classes step by step, but why is this separate from Career? The gameplay is solid but the (baffling) game design holding it up are taking away any satisfaction I could get from playing it.

I know, so that’s why I suggest to have the option to quit between all stages and not only from the service area. My experience is that if I can load the stage a second time, the game fix the problem.

You're directing your anger at the wrong people. I highly doubt the issues plaguing this series are a result of "lazy devs". It's probably a matter of the management prioritizing the wrong things and a mix of tight production schedules for the yearly releases and accumulated old sins in their engine making bugfixing harder than it should be.

It's all up to Oliver really and what he wants to do; other than sharing updates and stuff I'm not really invovled at all 🙂 For the record, The Solberg RACE was all on dry Stages.

Don't blame consoles for bad game developers. Both the original PS4 and Xbox One have much better looking and running games than this turd, let alone a modern PC, Xbox One X or PS4 Pro.

Only with daily event if you drive all you can get at least 100,000 credits per day! How much you earn depends of course on how good you are or in which profit class you end up. On the day the monthly payments were made, I received 2 million credits including weekly and daily n order to drive into the winning zone, I advise you to level your mechanics and the crew boss to Max because this will reduce the repair costs In addition to driving the weekly and monthly AI events because the credits are paid out there immediately. And every day to drive the Daily Events And if possible buy only one car from each vehicle class as long as you have so few credits You could also drive the BMW M2 in your career because repairs are free on this car

Maybe codemasters have to change there approach a simulation mode and then a arcade mode.

What a trainwreck... and I don't even mean technical issues. Here are some of the lowlights of the race for me. There are loads of more 😕 The Start I'm not sure what happened. My car didn't move at all until I pressed the "clutch" again causing me to get almost smashed into the wall, but somehow I was able to survive that although I did create some more danger by not giving space to pro3, but honestly I didn't even see him... While Saruman casually overtook something like 5 cars by ghosting 😁 If I would've been able to start the race normally, almost none of the following would've happened.. 0start.mp4 Stuck behind kisuke. Now thanks to this being Monaco, kisuke just had to just stay on the racing line and I'd have no chance. I was so quicker even though I was running with the medium tires and a broken wing... I pushed him from behind couple of times due to that broken wing... sorry 😕 The understeer I didn't know was going to happen. My mistake, turned late and understeered into the wall due to my decision to brake. 0understeer.mp4 The strategy I accidentally started on mediums as I misunderstood what Barry said, so I started on mediums. I eventually decided that I would switch to 1 medium set, 2 softs strategy which was the alternative strategy for me. Sadly on my second pit stop the tires weren't softs, but mediums, causing me to pit twice and once again end up behind kisuke 😕 The penalty Thanks to the track layout of Monaco, the game thought I cut the corner as it warned me of going over the white line. 0penalty.mp4 What even is this? I'm glad it happened behind the safety car, as otherwise I would've driven the rest of the race with Xbox overlay on my face. 0xbox.mp4

A few thoughts on new classes/manufacturers. Tried to avoid listing every rally car ever, debatable if I succeeded H1(RWD) Would love for a Lotus Cortina to be added. And the Mk1 Escort, though perhaps that should be H2. Other possible cars:Hillman Imp, Renault 8 S1600 Rally Feel like this would bridge the gap between R2 and F2 well. Also potentially a very well balanced class like R5, a number of similar performance cars in S1600. Group N/NR4 Really like driving these cars, unfortunately only Subaru/Mitsi competing for a long time. Maybe adding some older cars could generate some interesting matchups e.g. N14/Evo IX, N8/Evo VII Very happy with all the other classes Manufacturers Toyota I think this has been well covered Mazda A surprisingly long rally history here for a manufacturer not mentioned much. The RX3 (H2 RWD), Group 2 RX7(H3 RWD), Group B RX7(Group B RWD), 323 GTR(Group A), and a RX8(RGT) are all worthy of being added in my opinion Nissan/Datsun Already have the 240Z which is cool but also: Datsun 160J(H2 RWD), Nissan 240RS(Group B RWD), Nissan Sunny GTiR(Group A), Nissan Pulsar(F2), and finally a 370Z (RGT) Mitsubishi Already a strong presence but 1982 Lancer Turbo (H2/H3 RWD), Starion 4WD(Group B 4WD), Galant VR4(Group A), and an early Lancer Evo(Group A) would be awesome Would probably need a rejig of career mode to have a reason to use all of these but to get even a few of these would be excellent.

Can you try setting your default sound devices in Windows please? Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml before launching the game. Then set your sound device in-game before playing. Test without the headset (reset the sound devices). If still no luck, DDU and rewind to 442.74 driver build.

In game online achievements are linked strongly with mass cheating. It's highly ironic that the strong desire to reach an arbitrary and random level score causes so many to cheat on track because that cheating is then directly responsible for the required driver level taking so long to get! I've said it before but probably not loud enough, that if you remove online achievements entirely from the game you will also annihilate probably as much as 90% of the cheating too. Achievements that drive a more positive race experience should instead be encouraged. Here's an example list I believe will clean the game up very quickly: UNTOUCHABLE (Consecutive completed laps without contact with other cars) Bronze 5, Silver 15, Gold 25, Platinum 50 TEACHERS PET (Consecutive completed laps without incurring track penalties) B5, S15, G25, P50 MIRROR CHECK (Consecutive clean passes without incurring a penalty - carried forward from race to race) B1, S5, G10, P15 SUNDAY DRIVER (Consecutive pit stops without going over speed limit) B1, S5, G10, P15 NOT A SCRATCH (Win a race without incurring a single penalty /zero damage /full damage ON) B 5 lap race, S 25% race, G 50% race, P 100% race Of course there will still always be a few who don't care about trophies or race results who will spend their entire track time trying to wreck the experience for others but these will soon become pariahs. Ghosting and disqualification/ineligibility from trophies will discourage persistent offenders pretty quick though if implemented. I also believe many game devs implement trophies cynically to extend playtime artificially beyond the time people would play purely for enjoyment, so they need to encourage clean racing exclusively instead of rewarding simply time on track /race results.

I know which ones have it, as I have them all. As far as I understand it Codemasters promised split screen would be added post launch to GRID 2019. I'm wondering when, if ever that will happen? GRID: No split screem but does have LAN multiplayer GRID 2: Has 2 player split screen GRID Autosport: Has 2 player split screen Dirt 3: has 2 player split screen Dirt 4: Dropped split screen, so no more Dirt games for me GRID 2019: No split screen so far, bought because I'd read somewhere before releaae it would have split screen, since then I read split screen wold be added post release ..... Who knows....
