If you drive the championship in your career then only the degree of difficulty or the number of stages and rallies increases and that was it ! very boring.

I would give up my right arm to get this! I truly would! Here's another composition of, what are now, quadruplets! I would love to release them but can't because of this limitation.

I think DR2.0 did a fantastic job for it's cars, loads of new cars and some new classes upon launch, and all the old classics and MORE new cars in the DLC, loved the variety and range! The Colin pack was a fantastic finish to the game and i think it's clear there should be a DR3 going into dev at some point, and it better be on new tech with the new consoles coming this year 😄 Anyway, new cars! if we get DR3, what new cars would you like to see? What existing (DR2.0 cars) do you want to see return? or not return? Unfortunately i think it's a foregone conclusion we won't get current or recent WRC cars as the rights to those are locked away with the promoter, but i think anything else is game! I loved the expanded historical classes, the Ascona, extra GrpB cars and GrpA classes, just missing those Toyotas for now 😞 I thought the following: FWD H1 though the DS21 was, uh, interesting. FWD H2 - this was kind of tough for me to like, but i'm not sure why. RWD H2 - Love this class, feel free to expand it! 🙂 RWD H3 - Love this one too, too often forgotten, lots of fun. F2 Kit Cars - This is a bonkers class, lots of love from many people, not my cup of tea, but they're massive fun on tarmac, unique experience for sure. GrpB RWD - Awesome class, some real classics here, would love to see expansion here, 308, RX7 etc. GrpB 4WD - Again, awesome class, love the cars. R2 - Again, not my cup of tea, but they're very technical and a great modern starter car, not sure why i don't have as much fun in FWD cars in DR2 Vs. DR1. Recommend keeping. GrpA - Talk about a backbone class, many classics here, would be amazing to get Toyotas in here, solid and fun class! NR4/R4 - This could be fun, it's nice to have them, but they feel like over-heavy 2000cc class cars, which, they are, unfortunately they're massively mismatched and with only 2 cars, it feels like it's missing the point and i wonder if it's even worth continuing in their current guise, maybe invest in the other classes instead? 4WD up to 2000cc- Again, like GrpA, amazing class, many classics here and a great move into more modern "historical" cars Vs. the GrpA cars. Should be split early/late 2000's though IMO. R5 - Solid class, amazing on the edge competitive cars, a keep and possible expand for sure. RGT - Brand new class for DR2.0 - a stand out surprise, i actually love these cars and this class for what they are, i'd like to see them return. WRX - I do like World Rally Cross and i of course want to see them return, but i have less love for the cars, we've pretty much got the entire lineup, i like the classics as well as the modern. Solid section of the game. Here's the DR2.0 car list so you can see what we have and maybe add/subtract. Huge post, i know, but i feel this is our opportunity to fight for cars in what i hope is the next game! 🙂 Please stick to cars we want/don't want, how their split into classes is another topic and i don't want to worry about that part of game design right now.

Hello - I was led to believe GRiD 2019 will be getting split screen like the previous two versions of GRID had - when is this feature likely to be added? Thanks

I am so sore, wife had me running in the loose sand on the beach. My calves ache and then she spent the whole time I was doing a class today snickering under her breath at how much of a 'total nerd' I am...then asked "How can you possibly discuss for an hour such absurdly obscure stuff, at no point did I have any idea what you or any of the students was talking about". Ok so maybe Pleistocene evolution isn't the most riveting topic, but it is critical for a paleontologist to understand!

Having received vehicles through the DLC (which I'd rather have earned), I've found out career mode lets you start a championship with any vehicle right off the bat. It begs the question, what am I working towards? To make matters worse, the AI isn't putting up a fight. Freeplay does have you go through the Historic vehicle classes step by step, but why is this separate from Career? The gameplay is solid but the (baffling) game design holding it up are taking away any satisfaction I could get from playing it.

I'm wondering what the criteria would be for a game developer to drop a class. Popularity could be one. Generally I think Subaru and Mitsubishi are highly popular car brands, but if the data Codies have suggest that this class is the least driven, that could be indeed one argument to drop a class, together with the high cost of licensing, which I (and surely many others) tend to forget. So, yeah, it seems I was wrong, there might be a few plausible arguments ^^

Is this the reason that the official clubs are a month each now?

Yepp, I know, I took part in The Solberg Race. This time it is snow, so the problem with acid rain doesn’t appear in Monte Carlo. But the problem is present in Expert DiRT, and I’m sure you know the organizer of that one. 😉

What a trainwreck... and I don't even mean technical issues. Here are some of the lowlights of the race for me. There are loads of more 😕 The Start I'm not sure what happened. My car didn't move at all until I pressed the "clutch" again causing me to get almost smashed into the wall, but somehow I was able to survive that although I did create some more danger by not giving space to pro3, but honestly I didn't even see him... While Saruman casually overtook something like 5 cars by ghosting 😁 If I would've been able to start the race normally, almost none of the following would've happened.. 0start.mp4 Stuck behind kisuke. Now thanks to this being Monaco, kisuke just had to just stay on the racing line and I'd have no chance. I was so quicker even though I was running with the medium tires and a broken wing... I pushed him from behind couple of times due to that broken wing... sorry 😕 The understeer I didn't know was going to happen. My mistake, turned late and understeered into the wall due to my decision to brake. 0understeer.mp4 The strategy I accidentally started on mediums as I misunderstood what Barry said, so I started on mediums. I eventually decided that I would switch to 1 medium set, 2 softs strategy which was the alternative strategy for me. Sadly on my second pit stop the tires weren't softs, but mediums, causing me to pit twice and once again end up behind kisuke 😕 The penalty Thanks to the track layout of Monaco, the game thought I cut the corner as it warned me of going over the white line. 0penalty.mp4 What even is this? I'm glad it happened behind the safety car, as otherwise I would've driven the rest of the race with Xbox overlay on my face. 0xbox.mp4

AFAIK, you can have as many as you can afford, until you collect them all. And you usually start out with BUCKETS of credits with the all-inclusive versions of the game being released now., HOWEVER, don't go blowing all your cash on filling up your garage. You have more important things to buy first. Like training your team. Also be aware that except for the H1 Lancia Fulvia and the RX S1600 Opel Corsa, none of the cars you start out owning, or buy later, can be tuned until you spend a fair chunk of change on the upgrade that allows this. And you'll also want to upgrade their components to reduce wear. And also, all the other cars except the Fulvia and Corsa cost money to repair, and you can't upgrade their engines until you've driven them a fair amount. So, I would recommend being slow on buying cars you don't already own. Just get one every few days to a week or so, in a class you're particularly interested in and need for a daily, then upgrade it to allow tuning, have better parts, etc. Meanwhile, focus on training your team and upgrading cars you already own. You can usually do at least 1, maybe 3 dailies per day with the cars you start with, and just completing them in last place will, after a couple days, bring in enough credits to buy another car or upgrade one you already have.

I want them to stop running courses 30 times, and then using the data to find the most annoying place to put logs and rocks.

DiRT Rally and DiRT Rally 2.0 provide an off-roading experience like no other, and have a reputation for challenging drivers to find their limits and break them. They can be difficult games to get the hang of initially, so let's ease you into that with the DiRT Rally School! The DiRT Rally School is a series of tutorial videos breaking down the complexities of off-road driving so that you can start your virtual rallying career on the right foot. We'll go through basic driving techniques, vehicle characteristics, road variables and more. As you continue to play and learn through experience, refer back to these so that the teachings are fresh in your mind. You'll find the videos embedded below, and the full playlist is also on our YouTube channel. We'll see you on the road and hopefully, on the podium. Good luck on your journey. Looking for more tips? The Community Rally School has plenty of videos from fellow players to get you up to speed:

Hi, i would also like to know when is split screen coming, it is "advertised" as a factor for buying this game so it should be delivered. Hope that more people register and posts a comment like i did, maybe this way we can push the developer to deliver any information as it's been a month and no comments from their side... It's been 6 months and no split screen, say something, current multiplayer is ... lacking in certain aspects, and it's not about the fact that people are not playing it, it's abut that there doesn't seem to be much do there and that makes people leave this title.

If you use a wheel with a gear stick connected then make sure that the gear stick is in NEUTRAL and not in a gear. I fixed my starting issues that way. Not really an issue really it was just a silly mistake on my end.
