2 pointsHi everyone, All in the previous messages have had their rewards allocated. Next run is at 4pm. Please note that the next run after that will be Friday, as I'm on annual leave tomorrow. However, i will schedule an earlier run on Friday at 9:30am to try and get rewards out as quick as possible. 👍

2 points!! Following is at your own risk so backup your files first !! Fore those (livery creators) who want to test their Peugeot 206 Rally livery with correct 3D model but without bumper deformation, tyres in road and incorrect interior etc., I did the following: First of all I used the Peugeot 208 T16 R5 as a placeholder for the Peugeot 206 Rally. I renamed and replaced the following files from the 206.nefs to the 20r.nefs file: - 206_highLOD.pssg (3D model of the car) - 206_AO.pssg (shadow under the car) - 206.nd2 (corrects the wheels although not perfectly at the front) If you also want the interior to be correct and all the camera angles then rename and replace the following files: - All files you can find in the interior map (corrects the interior, dummies, animation etc.) - cameras.xml (corrects camera internally and externally) The custom made Valentino Rossi livery i placed in the external car folder 20r. Enjoy, have fun, stay safe and at home

2 pointsI think fictional cars should probably be for something like a Dirt titled game, not Dirt Rally titled, let's stick to the real things for this one 🙂

1 pointI think DR2.0 did a fantastic job for it's cars, loads of new cars and some new classes upon launch, and all the old classics and MORE new cars in the DLC, loved the variety and range! The Colin pack was a fantastic finish to the game and i think it's clear there should be a DR3 going into dev at some point, and it better be on new tech with the new consoles coming this year 😄 Anyway, new cars! if we get DR3, what new cars would you like to see? What existing (DR2.0 cars) do you want to see return? or not return? Unfortunately i think it's a foregone conclusion we won't get current or recent WRC cars as the rights to those are locked away with the promoter, but i think anything else is game! I loved the expanded historical classes, the Ascona, extra GrpB cars and GrpA classes, just missing those Toyotas for now 😞 I thought the following: FWD H1 though the DS21 was, uh, interesting. FWD H2 - this was kind of tough for me to like, but i'm not sure why. RWD H2 - Love this class, feel free to expand it! 🙂 RWD H3 - Love this one too, too often forgotten, lots of fun. F2 Kit Cars - This is a bonkers class, lots of love from many people, not my cup of tea, but they're massive fun on tarmac, unique experience for sure. GrpB RWD - Awesome class, some real classics here, would love to see expansion here, 308, RX7 etc. GrpB 4WD - Again, awesome class, love the cars. R2 - Again, not my cup of tea, but they're very technical and a great modern starter car, not sure why i don't have as much fun in FWD cars in DR2 Vs. DR1. Recommend keeping. GrpA - Talk about a backbone class, many classics here, would be amazing to get Toyotas in here, solid and fun class! NR4/R4 - This could be fun, it's nice to have them, but they feel like over-heavy 2000cc class cars, which, they are, unfortunately they're massively mismatched and with only 2 cars, it feels like it's missing the point and i wonder if it's even worth continuing in their current guise, maybe invest in the other classes instead? 4WD up to 2000cc- Again, like GrpA, amazing class, many classics here and a great move into more modern "historical" cars Vs. the GrpA cars. Should be split early/late 2000's though IMO. R5 - Solid class, amazing on the edge competitive cars, a keep and possible expand for sure. RGT - Brand new class for DR2.0 - a stand out surprise, i actually love these cars and this class for what they are, i'd like to see them return. WRX - I do like World Rally Cross and i of course want to see them return, but i have less love for the cars, we've pretty much got the entire lineup, i like the classics as well as the modern. Solid section of the game. Here's the DR2.0 car list so you can see what we have and maybe add/subtract. Huge post, i know, but i feel this is our opportunity to fight for cars in what i hope is the next game! 🙂 Please stick to cars we want/don't want, how their split into classes is another topic and i don't want to worry about that part of game design right now.

1 pointis there a Nissan Kitcar for Dirt Rally ? No Would a Nissan be announced for a new Dirt Rally ? No Has any car been announced for a new Dirt Rally ? No Well, I prefer facts. Concerning the locations from Colin McRae Dirt to Dirt 4 the locations have always alternated Just a few examples I can't remember them all Dirt1 Italy,Japan never existed again Dirt 2 China,Croatia,Malaysia never existed again either. Dirt 3 Norway,Monte Carlo,Kenya (the first time at a Dirt/Colin game) was never played again. Only since Dirt 4 the locations Michigan were repeated in Dirt 3 So it is very difficult to say which locations we will get again, but I hope that all 13 are in the next game plus 2-3 new ones

1 pointPerhaps @gleylancer571. But Gronholm, Timerzyanov, Nitiss and Heikkinen were added in the last patch. Why add them if they weren't there before and put them in the wrong cars?...
-
1 pointExactly. Wet Tyre mainly means better profile, for water offrun. Gravel Tyres already have deep profiles for the dirt and rocks, so they are also good for wet always. Off course wet is gonna be more slippery, that's just how physics are. Though the difference is much less than trying to drive tarmac slicks in the wet. Other questions: - fast repair will degrade the part over time and you can not repair it again, only replace. Most useful, if you are at last service park and need to save time - normal repair, basically as new. - replace, for parts that can't be repaired (lights) and for stuff you previously quick-repaired. - Yes, you don't need to fix headlights if no night comes up. If there really is different aerodynamics at play, they are negligible. - You can only buy new cars, that you could buy today, as the game is set in todays time. So any historic car can only be bought used. If it was totalled several times or not is IMHO just for statistics. If you don't care about those numbers, just buy the cheapest offer and repair that. It's all just as fast.

1 pointYes, this is exactly what i'm talking about. Again, could potentially be tied to not only stage degradation, but perhaps also random moments. Whilst watching the VHS Rallies, '85 and '86 RAC rallies, this prompted my comments, they come across all of these things.

1 pointHi everyone, We have found the issue here and are hoping to have a fix soon. At the moment, I cannot confirm an exact date and time, but we hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.

1 pointPlaying on Xbox One, USA it’s been really slow loading from the server today, and I’ve gotten connection errors a couple of times. It eventually connects but still takes longer/more tries than it should (in theory).

1 pointHi guys, got word on Bonus Challenges earlier but been busy, so here goes: The dev team has added a bunch of new/extra Challenges based on forum feedback. Some are "hardcore", with restricted assists, hardcore damage, higher surface degradation, severe weather etc. Others feature less commonly-used cars, to encourage you all to try them out.

1 pointstill around peoples ? codemasters ? next grid ? noooooooo there is a big news, codemasters will start producing cakes and chocolate now. No more games. Check the news on google.

1 pointNo DLCs are must, especially rally ones. I got day one edition game, and in my opinion in begging there was too little stages. It's great game you will not regret. I'm even expecting S05 because they now released "Year One" edition, so there could be more stuff I hope like Fiesta mk8 R5 and other

1 pointI hear you @BarryBL one thing you HAVE to get through to the developers and game managers is DO NOT GO AFTER THE CASUAL MARKET. The last two broadcasts should have been an excellent chance to showcase a product to a slightly wider audience. Everyone is starved of sporting entertainment at present, hell I even watched the virtual Grand National (backed 5th place, typically 🙂 ) but to compare the two - apples and oranges as they were, sadly I can't see how anyone new to the game or the sport could have had their interest held for more than 20 seconds before turning over. Esports is as Esports does, but quite honestly (and notwithstanding it being presented as a bit of fun) the whole tone of the broadcasts do nothing to promote the worth or value of anyone associated with it (Simracing). People will argue (and I agree) that this is pretty far from Simracing as presented. Comparing it with the Esports seasons as presented so far on F1 2017 and F1 2018 they were far more engaging and entertaining DESPITE being aimed at the gaming community. Let's be honest, as far as TV is concerned, it's done. Virtual to real life was done with GT Academy on Gran Turismo - Jann Mardenborough and his ilk. Actually graduated to real seats in real top level events (F2 and Le Mans). F1 will never take Esports seriously as the time to do so was passed under the stewardship of the poison dwarf (Bernie Ecclestone) although you should be careful what you wish for as Liberty (Chase Carey and cronies) are just trying to up the hype and razmatazz US stylee. They are alienating their current customer base and clearly do not have a clue how to progress, they are out of their depth; as the handling of the whole lead up to the non-start of this season in Australia and the lack of leadership and a plan for going forward. This ultimately is reflected in their decision to re-award the license / franchise for the F1 title back to Codemasters and their lack of interest in the trashing of what is left of the sport. Core game is paramount. Core fanbase is paramount. You're not seeing the signposts. They are clear to almost everyone else!
