3 pointsThe bump exists in the last three versions of the game (as far as I'm aware) and has been pointed out several times by the community. Why were no changes made?

2 pointsSo from watching this trailer one thing that gets more and more obvious is that codies don't know how to promote their game. The whole trailer is about new stuff. The create your team mode that some people and mainly YouTubers will mess around with a bit, but is essentially a custom skin for single-player, along with a few options (But essentially changes 0 to the game) As well as the new Schumacher classic cars, that everybody knows are only fun to drive with if everybody picks the same car, which is not fun. (Need more cars per season that are equally matched) Don't they realize that "We fixed most of the bugs" would create twice the hype among the (potential) player base as more custom skins would? The YouTubers videos would have 10x the views if there was an actual announcement like: "the next game will be actually playable competitively without that many frustrations" How do they not realize it is NOT the amount of content in the game that is letting it down? Adding f2, f3, fe, manager mode, or even whole classic seasons will NOT improve sales until the game gets fixed. Whereas making sure f1 2020 is stable and as bugfree as possible will improve sales 10 times over and might have people take it seriously again. There needs to be 'a lot more' in house testing of especially the online aspect very regularly. Most bugs are rare and only come up every once in a while but there are just so MANY of them that in the end still half the races if not more have serious issues for at least someone. And there's just no race where absolutely no dumb stuff happens. But you do need to do a race every evening for a month to be able to see them all. Which is why it makes it so hard to report some of them because they are very rare. there's just very many rare ones. (We often don't know what causes people to be held in the pits for no reason, sometimes we do. When we don't know we can't reproduce. but it DOES happen from time to time) Besides that, what is actually needed to promote this game, especially in this time were e-sports is actually all f1 has and a lot of people are actually watching streams with your game running on it, (I understand how you didn't see that coming either) is actual spectator graphics. I've been saying this for years now but it is an ABYSMAL OVERSIGHT that the time penalties are not easily accessible for the commentators/viewers. Apart from that the whole interface for spectators looks trash. Fastest laps should appear like on TV in the middle of the screen, preferably with the sound effect. As should penalties. (While driving you get them in the middle of your face but as spectator they are hidden at the bottom of the screen?) The more info the better. While driving you don't need an interface to speak of and a lot of people turn that stuff off anyway, or most of it at least. But there is a lot of improvement to be done to the overall presentation of spectator mode. which is IMPORTANT because that is what a lot of people watching streams actually see and it looks horrible. Want good advertisement? give the people watching the streams something worth ogling. PS. Yes i know a lot of you will have a lot of other things like the handling model and the suzuka bump and missing drs zones.. and how assists are op and the likes. I agree with most of those and there's a lot of things big and small that can be improved upon to make the game more fun even before adding new modes. But personally the thing that kills my enjoyment the most is that you can not have a race without the game breaking down for someone at some point.

2 pointsHere's my wishlist: - realistic ERS - realistic DRS - equal cars to be equal - mirror - practice mode (with wear and fuel consumption same as online) - driving with assists much much slower than without assists - some sort of telemtry to view lap data - PAD not be so OP - filter mode in online (for easier search) - better broadcast - more balanced FP, quali and race times of AI's - option for 75% race distance - oundersteer enhance from 1-100% i stead of just ON/OFF - driver transfer turn OFF option - different Jeff's messages, more emotion - a possibility to change fuelmap and ERS on grid, not just during formation lap - a lot more empty setup slots - better described car setup options with engeneer (good) advices - better penalty system ... off the head, probably could go on with the list. Dream-wish list : - more realistic handling - overall better stability of game - less bugs - not so stupid AI's under blue flag - better engine and tire sound - separate time trial leaderboard for pad and wheels - feel of a flatspot - realistic driving over kerbs - manual pit lane driving - more informations during the race - better replay mode - more options in customization menu ... again, definitely could go on. Anyway, I enjoy this series, and I accepted the fact that this is arcade game long time ago. I buy every F1 game since 2016, and i'll pre-order 2020 as soon as its possible.

2 pointsI watched a bit and overall it was ok to watch. Mostly Coley made it a good show 🙂 But I think overall DR2.0 showed it's issues quite clear why you can't really organise well leagues with the game, while the sport is actually great for hosting e-sport events. - DiRT Rally 2.0 misses a livery editor, so you end up with some blank cars... At least needed to have the one from DiRT 4 or what ACC has. But better go for what iRacing have. - The broadcast mode is pretty bad, also I think difficult to control. Car switched from TV to an onboard view, actually when you not wanted it to be and missing the action. - No possibility to check a replay from different angles, so difficult for race-control to check situations and give correct penalties. - Highlights from a race are from what is broadcasted. So if something not was showen, you still couldn't see what had happened. - Starts? There are no car revs / engine noises. Also it's every time from a swingman camera view. - It just shows the game needs the possibility to have 20 cars in a lobby. Now everytime quali start with randomized grids. Or at least make it possible for the lobby host to change/edit things. - The cars are to fast. in the end, DiRT Rally 2.0 had never the intention to be a sim/e-sports game like an iRacing or ACC. Also Barcelona, with its stone tyre walls, is a tricky track in the game. I wonder if an other track in the game might make it a bit better. Maybe Montelegre makes it a bit easier, although it is technical as well, there are no stone tyres where the players get close to as at Barca. I also hope the developers watched this event, so they can implement a few improvements for the next event. I think if they could improve the cameras, sounds and grid/event control, it could increase the quality already quite a lot 🙂 Currently the event not did it really justice, as the game is much better than what is showen. EDIT: Also I hope they make a new class, 2018 and 2019 WRX Supercars. So than for example Johan Kristofferson can also choose his VW Polo, Cabot Bigham can choose a VW.

2 pointsIt was supposed to be fun so it's not too bad that they had randomized grids in my view. Considering the amount of RL racing drivers, together with awesome commentators like Neil Cole and Andrew Coley and watching the drama unfold in some occasions, this was the kind of event I was hoping for. 👍

1 pointImo since Barry joined the club this forum is heading in the right direction. More interaction between players, sharing info and reaction in the forum is way better than before. Lets give Barry some credits for his outstanding job. Keep up the good work Barry!!!

1 pointequals "We failed to notice the increased number of sales in VR tech over the last couple years and therefore didn't build it into our current architecture." Maybe it's not a huge market, but it is definitely growing. Hopefully they have plans to release something in the future to support it - and knowing MS, I'd be surprised if this wasn't a planned thing, to give another big boost of sales in a year or two. If only they were as good at designing for video games as they are at making money.

1 pointYeah those esport series are 20 players in the same arena, on a LAN system. No interference whatsoever. but when it comes to the real deal, with REAL situations, like home... come on, You (I mean CM, not Up100) fail so hard and emberrass yourself so hard when people all around the world can see how terrible the online system is?

1 pointI don't get it too, laser scanned tracks would benefit everybody.

1 pointHere we go again , same old false promises Not bought last 2 titles through sheer frustration of same old bugs appearing game after game and nothing ever done to rectify them Can it be so hard Codemasters to let me use a mouse on my PC. BTW I dont want to race in cars from years gone by on new circuits , i want some old tracks

1 pointwhen/where can we download those!? that is fantastic. bravo!

1 pointThe problem with Autosport was it's timing of release and the fact Codemasters decided it wasn't financially viable to port it to XB1 and PS4, so it kind of got overlooked when everyone upgraded to the newer consoles. If it was good enough to generate 1m unit sales on previous gen consoles then it does kind of make you wonder how well it would have done if Codemasters had decided to take the plunge and upgrade it for the newer consoles as well. You never know, we might now be talking about how great Grid 5 (or even Grid 6) is instead of lamenting over the half-hearted game we ended up with after six years of waiting. Anyhows, i'm now bringing this whole Grid thing to an end and moving onwards and upwards to better things (and judging by forum activity it looks like i'm not alone in my decision) so, in the words of Delboy, it's "bonjour" from me.... Happy gaming and stay well.

1 pointAbout Alonso. What was the purpose of getting him involved in this game other then his name on an AI-car. Would the game be worse without him?
