3 pointsHi guys, unfortunately I don't made it into the beta program, but I hope I still can give you some helpful response. I already wrote an email some month ago regarding the blinking rate of the ERS/Rain lights. This seems to be fixed what I have seen so far so this is great. In my opinion there is another issue regarding the new lights on the rearwing. This lights were introduced in 2019 for safety reasons to increase the visability especially in wet conditions. It seems that these new lights are not bright enough in the new version of the game and can only be seen when you are very close to the back of a car or when you look from an angle. From a developer point of view this should be only a minor issue so it would be great if you could forward this information to the relevant department. I've also provided two screenshots for better insight. Thank you! Cheers Yannic

3 pointsHave we already listed "Better player stats" on this wishlist? What do I mean by this? The odometers in Time Trial cars should work. Some people spend literally days in there over the life of the game chasing down different WR's, let me see how many miles I've ended up putting on the different Time Trial cars. Keep it completely separated from My Team, that's fine, but why don't we have more stats about what we do in Time Trials Give us just STATS about each game mode. How many miles/hours driven in My Team. How many in Time Trial? How many in online MP lobbies? How many in Colin's Challenges? That's literally 1 stat that I'd want to see in at least 5 different filtered styles; My Team, TT, Customs, Colin's, and Total. Expand on that; which car is used the most per location; per mode; classes, etc. These are all the cool little details car enthusiasts can eat up and love to do it. This is what let's people "bond" with the cars. You feel connections to them. You have all of this online stuff, WHY AREN'T ANY OF THE STATS FROM IT AVAILABLE. Why can't I see how many total Daily events I have entered? Where is the stat showing my % of top tier placements compared to entries. Stage records should be easily available to see; we should be able to compare across cars/classes, against our own times in other classes/cars and compared to friends or the online community as a whole. If I pull up Sweet Lamb, Wales in a records/leaderboard style menu I want to see my fastest PB, and then be able to see my PB for every class below it too - let me then select the class and select a specific car to see that PB. We do cool things, let us obsess and go OCD over stats.

1 pointI just got Dirt 2.0 GOTY. Beginning a new career profile gives you 2.4 million credits, and a garage full of cars? Being able to start as a nobody with no money, even if grindy, can be a fun way to play. This is the way most racing games approach career modes, and this is the way Dirt Rally 2.0 apparently started. However, if you buy the GOTY DLC, you lose that carrot-on-a-stick progression. Forcing players to disable steam DLC, or manually sell their cars and drain their credits is silly. Couldn't we have an option to reset credits to zero, and owned cars to the original few, to experience the career as it was originally designed, pre-DLC? Or maybe the deeper issue is how credits are progression between career mode and the rest of the game are linked? Either way, it sucks that I now can't play the vanilla career mode without having to sell all my stuff and drain my credits manually :'(

1 pointHistorically, CM have preferred to have feature parity across all platforms, with some minor exceptions, so I'd be surprised if we ever get this tbh. Also, as a developer myself, being told something "can't be very hard" to implement is pretty much the best way to ensure it never gets done 😉 Anything that involves sending stuff over a network, even some simple text messages, and ensuring everyone can see them at roughly the same time and in the right order, is probably already an order of magnitude more difficult than you might imagine.

1 pointFollowing point: when a qualifying is finished and your AI takes over your car it continues driving around the track and doesn't go into the pits (even with no fuel left). My issue is not the fact that it's programmed this way but that if your AI ceashes with another AI after the end of the Qualifying and goes DNF because of their stupid behaviour then you are out of the Qualifying. I just have this issue right now in my league race and it ****** me off because it's such a nonsense problem which could just be fixed by making the AI cars in the qualifying to ghosts (even when Ghosting is turned off). Please fix this issue in F1 2020 because it can literally destroy your entire race because of starting from the back without your fault.

1 pointFor real, I don't think most or all of the tracks need to be rebuild and remodeled, just a few one that is quite outdated. Them being: Bahrain Sector 3 China Sector 3 (just a little bit of elevation on the entry of both straights) Canada Sector 2 Baku Kerbs (FOR GOD'S SAKE) GB Sector 1 and S's Hungary Sector 3 Belgium Sector 2 and Bus Stop USA Sector 3 Mexico Sector 3 Abu Dhabi Sector 1 Maybe they'll change it for next year's game, but in comparison to real life, most tracks are quite realistic even in F1 2019, but a little remodeling update would be really REALLY good.

1 pointI also don't think this is a problem for the FOM (not wanting the TV graphics in the game), I think they even support this initiative, but CM is not concerned with attaching them to the game and look that it's been 13 years that we don't have real TV graphics in an F1 game.

1 pointThe prompt only appears when you stop the car completely, but you probably know it. Again, I'll ask if you make sure that a spare tyre is in the car if you look behind in the cockpit cam. If there is one (or two), then something is wrong if you still can't change it. if there isn't, you either didn't take it or it was used automatically between stages when there was no service park. As for Greece, well, terminal damage on the last stage, of course. Still, the top 6 was completely out of my reach, how do you guys pull off those times is beyond me. Especially on the first stage, in rain, on mediums (I assume). Greece, in rain, on mediums, this fast. Mental.
-
1 pointYep limitless has put a video explaining this now. personally I think this is soo much better as it is soo much more realistic.
-
1 pointYavuz43 is saying that a +1.041 lead in Qualifying to the second AI driver (and +1.002 to himself) is unrealistic given that all AI drivers are set to the same difficulty. Comparing it to the same car (McLaren) the discrepancy is even larger with +1.954 seconds.

1 pointThis week Mr. The Block beats a 13 year old girl into submission. Also, seems like intentionally wrecking the **** out of whatever your driving is genetic.

1 pointI speak ignorant on the subject ... all the bugs (and there are many in F1 2019), aren't they partly due to the graphic and physical model? creating a new model for both with the release of the new consoles, wouldn't it bring benefits?
-
1 pointYeap I still have the pc disc lol . The other one was grand prix manager. Both were out similar times . On F1 manager 2000 . I got to season 9 I made Manardi the best car with a merc engine. Schumacher no 1 driver D hill. no 2 driver. Bruno Chung Brazil reserve Cant spell bruno's last name. All the sponsors. Ross brawn . Ross Byrne. Any you've played the game. The game crashed halfway through season 9 and it got corrupted data. Man I was mad. It took me 2 years hard work and writing down tracks with the wing setup. I actually installed the game again on windows 8 but after 1 season I couldn't be bothered loo Great game though. Back then even wheels for driving felt good in its counterpart F1 2000 driving sim . ffb thrustmaster wheel was called gullimot. I always thought thrustmaster sounded wrong 🤥🤪🤔

1 pointHahahahahaha! Arrogance at its finest. There are far superior games out there in terms of physics that have VR, granted the f1 games look good, but the games with the superior physics and VR don't look that shabby! I think the codemasters f1 series would benefit from new leadership, maybe then it can live up to the hyperbole...
-
1 pointThe VR statement is obviously a meaningless excuse that translates to "We don't think it's worth the investment". We probably won't be getting it until PSVR2 or something, because who cares about PC right?

1 pointHi everyone, Sorry guys, 'Codies silence' on the matter is purely because I've been mega busy with BETA-related stuff the past few days, as my league race 'performance' clearly showed. We've had a record amounts of applicants, and we've more data than ever to sort through and evaluate, it's taking myself and a lot of members a fair bit of time. On the ERS. we have taken feedback and information directly from F1 drivers and teams on how the system is used and deployed in real-life. We have been told from the teams/drivers that the current 2019 ERS management system was far too complicated and something that the F1 drivers do not engage in to this level. Therefore, we have made changes to create a system closer to real-life deployment strategies. Also, quick note here, some teams may have slight differences in how it is used, and we've been tasked to create a universally-accepted, but closer to reality, model. It is something that is due for further testing soon enough for successful BETA applicants (this will be available shortly) and one of the key things we would look for in review in Week One of testing.

1 point@BarryBL why do you think I'm writing about it here? in the GRID section we only have a social-marketing guy as a wall 🙄 section F1 can count on direct contact with Codemasters Staff there are plenty of sensible comments and suggestion about GRID but there is no support or feedback directly from the Codemasters Staff like here the split screen is good example of your reaction to the same argument and shows the difference in support for this product's community it's sad and you CM need to think about changing it, we need more attention and feedback in GRID section or this game will soon die please take a moment and read GRID section to see if this is the right direction...
