In a racefans.net interview it was confirmed, that we can only put fictional sponsors on our cars in Career mode. So I took a look in F1 2019 at the Multiplayer Cars, and the sponsors they have (and are likely to be in the next one), and collected all of them, I found (43 total). Here is the list:

I found that race painful to watch. It was a ramming bumper car fest which allowed Russell to coast to victory without even having to try. I wouldn't be happy winning that way. The esports pros were way better to watch. Came down to the wire with respectful driving as usual.

Yay, I'm down to 55 kilos! I feel great too, 5 more to go till target weight I took a few large bags of my fat lady clothes to the charity shop this morning, that felt awesome to unload that stuff, never going to need them again either, I am actually enjoying the fitness regime (well not the sprints, push ups, crunches...or anything else my wife makes me do) but the hiking is great and I don't mind the exercise bike. I think the biggest thing is getting off the booze, I can even cope with my anxiety at the moment too.

They need to put the in FC at least since it was with the rest of the RWD group b pack during those days. Plus we really need an insane rotary engine sound engineered by codemasters.

The problem was that you have to set softlock off, the wheel has to be set to fixed 1080, then calibrate and after that set softlock back to on. The 2nd thing is, normally with Fanatec wheels if you want variable steering angles the setting should be set to Auto and the game can change the steering angle. The Fanatec wheels have then automatically the correct softlock. If set not to Auto it's normally to overwrite the steering angle to your liking. But with the CM implementation you must set your wheel to 1080 what by the way is not the max possible steering angle and CM implemented a software softlock which would not be needed on Fanatec.

Something seemed to do the trick. Did all of them at once, so I can't really tell you what resolved the issue. Thanks for the help!

Hell no I hope not. No point spending resource on something only 1 team so far uses and which will be banned from next year. No sense in doing it IMO and why add yet another thing for us to micro-manage while racing mapping to an already exhausted list of buttons when IRL it's a push/pull system which we cannot do.

No varied strategies by the AI, it's almost always the same. Start on soft, then end on medium-hard. Also the AI getting in your way when you're on a flying lap in qualy. I can't remember how many times they've ruined my lap because they just don't move from the racing line when they're supposed to. I'm behind them really close on a straight and they are on a warm-up or cooldown lap. Instead of slowing down on the straight and letting me go, nope. They try to move away in the middle of the corner and they ruin my lap because I had to avoid them.

I think it was Black Sabbath who said, and I quote, "The Human race will never learn" from song "Back to Eden". Another reason maybe to have a ghosted multiplayer session!

Please dont apologise I do not mind I clearly had the wrong opinion and thanks for settling our stewards enquiry. Thanks for the advice on the starts i will try it soon and hopefully have much better results.

To use softlock in any game that has it, you have to manually set your wheel to its maximum rotational setting. So your T300 needs to be set to 1080 degrees of rotation for soft lock to function correctly. I run with a T300, I also have a G27 and a G920, and it is true for all of them. If you run on a DOR setting lower than the wheels maximum, it will throw off the games soft lock settings. Doesnt matter if its Dirt Rally 1 or 2, Assetto Corsa, Project cars 1 or 2. I assume the issue with the previously mentioned fanatec wheels, was running them in "auto" mode. I dont have a fanatec wheel, so I cant test. But I would assume the issue would be resolved by manually setting the max rotation on the wheel, and then recalibrating in game.

I keep meaning to write a really long post, but whilst this is in my mind: - Please don't abandon the 'offline' career aspect or competing vs AI - Help give the AI some sense of personality and order - I know you must get tired of RBR glorification, but RBR had AI modifiers for consistency, aggression, mechanical sympathy - That the 'broken' cars you pass in stage are the same ones as on the leaderboard are great, but at the moment I can't even see the liveries each driver is assigned in the UI to know who I've passed and whether they're a rival - I know this assignment is made by the game, because the one you see set off in the animation before a stage loop is consistent with the name ahead of you - Keep the super difficult AI! The only time I've been bored in DR1 or DR2 was the first couple of seasons in DR2 when I could crash and still win stages by a minute - Similarly to drivers, in RBR each car also had attributes - I'd love to be in a position where the defacto 70s class had Stratos' excelling on tarmac but struggling on loose, Escorts being durable rocks that didn't break and 131s being great all-rounders - in R5s in real life, the Citroen has typically had more success on asphalt with the Fiesta being better on gravel and the Fabia being a great all-rounder - only small modifiers, but would be great to have, especially for classes with more varied cars - The dynamic calendars and events you have in DR1 and DR2 are a highlight for me; it's great that each 'season' you compete in is unique - please keep some aspect of this - More care about the development of weather, times of day (should be morning and afternoon by default, with a chance of evening and a small chance of night or dawn) and stage 'looping' (same order of stages in the afternoon that were run in the morning)- Being more ambitious, instead of upgrading your own car and choosing to boost this or that, the quality would be determined by the team you rent a car from for the season, with the option to be hired by a works team for the 'perfect' version of the car (the latter part of which PC2 started to play with) - Redo the car classes, please... I'll rewrite a longer post on this, but the Lancia Delta competed v Ford Sierras and M3s in real life and the Evo VI rallied against the '01 Focus and the two early 2000CC Subarus. That the Stratos is in a different class to the Escort and 131 Abarth is a travesty.

Have we already listed "Better player stats" on this wishlist? What do I mean by this? The odometers in Time Trial cars should work. Some people spend literally days in there over the life of the game chasing down different WR's, let me see how many miles I've ended up putting on the different Time Trial cars. Keep it completely separated from My Team, that's fine, but why don't we have more stats about what we do in Time Trials Give us just STATS about each game mode. How many miles/hours driven in My Team. How many in Time Trial? How many in online MP lobbies? How many in Colin's Challenges? That's literally 1 stat that I'd want to see in at least 5 different filtered styles; My Team, TT, Customs, Colin's, and Total. Expand on that; which car is used the most per location; per mode; classes, etc. These are all the cool little details car enthusiasts can eat up and love to do it. This is what let's people "bond" with the cars. You feel connections to them. You have all of this online stuff, WHY AREN'T ANY OF THE STATS FROM IT AVAILABLE. Why can't I see how many total Daily events I have entered? Where is the stat showing my % of top tier placements compared to entries. Stage records should be easily available to see; we should be able to compare across cars/classes, against our own times in other classes/cars and compared to friends or the online community as a whole. If I pull up Sweet Lamb, Wales in a records/leaderboard style menu I want to see my fastest PB, and then be able to see my PB for every class below it too - let me then select the class and select a specific car to see that PB. We do cool things, let us obsess and go OCD over stats.

Would be cool if we eventually get the option to divide the leaderboards by teams, e.g.: If i drive the Williams and post a 1:16:8 at Spain, i will be listed XXXXth in the general leaderboard. But, i get the option to filter the leaderboards and choose "filter by teams", which grants me the ability to see my Williams laptime of 1:16:8 listed against all the other Williams times that have been posted by other people. Imo, with this filter system in mind, other options such as "filter by assists" (no assists/ medium assists/ full assists), "filter by platform" (PC/ PS4/ XBone), "filter by device" (Steering Wheel/ Controller/ Keyboard/ Joystick) and "filter by date" (Newest/ Oldest) etc. should also be added. Codemasters need to give us more filter options for the Time Trial or Special Event or Online MP leaderboards.

ahaha yes i forgot they fired the most.. But some of them still working for CM... About Pcars2 i have it and like it much , great content etc but about handling/physics is far from ideal , i have some secret hope that if they keep and add even more content and Codemaster's dirt and Grid team work on handling we might get a really cool game... SMS has already said that will more spiritual successor of NFS Shift-1-2 about theme/style but with same sim elements as Pcars 1-2 which actually like it . To me means mixure of circuit and city tracks , visual and performance customizations , maybe Nitro lol , detailed as hell cockpit view , drift , drag mode and more.. This could be the ideal racing game of next years for me as long as CM does not **** it up!

The only thing Codemasters are going to order from Evo Studios members is a Big Mac and fries because that's where they all work now 😲

Oh my. Yes. So very yes. I'm absolutely horrific at starts, and there's no way to practise them without doing a race and just rewinding the start over and over again.

    - Remove this scratches on cars in start of every race! (do it ASAP it destroys photos) - Add more tracks! (1 per season is not enough) - Add demo derby / drift mode - Add the possibility the players to chose sponsors on cars and select the kind of color they want (metalic, matte, glossy ect) - Add text chat in custom lobbies + kick vote system for everyone - Improve damage and collision system

You know... If people don't have anything less provoking to say, maybe you don't need to post a message 🙂 Whatever has happened in the past should really be left into the past already. You're also potentially slowing down communication between the GRID/DiRT teams and the community by forcing these community managers to use their time on resolving arguments, which is probably what you wouldn't want to happen.
