1 pointSo I just did this banger of a lap after trying for a few hours and of course it doesn't upload to the leaderboard. I should be 27th overall PS4. Yet another issue with this game. I was connected and no errors saying the lap wouldn't be uploaded were anywhere to be found. Also you can see it's a valid lap. F1®_2019_Britain_Short_Lap.compressed.mp4

1 pointHi guys, hope you’re all well. As it says in the title, just wanted to ask @BarryBL or any codies staff when we’re next going to hear more information on F1 2020? With quarantine, I’m sure this is one thing that a lot of us are looking forward to playing/ the game being released. I’d also Like to ask, when will the youtubers e.g aarava, TRL & Tiametmarduk be getting their updated preview builds? The reason I ask is because aarava said in one of his videos there won’t be anymore F1 2020 videos because their builds are being updated and he said once they get updated he’ll release some videos. thanks! Tomi

1 pointI just got Dirt 2.0 GOTY. Beginning a new career profile gives you 2.4 million credits, and a garage full of cars? Being able to start as a nobody with no money, even if grindy, can be a fun way to play. This is the way most racing games approach career modes, and this is the way Dirt Rally 2.0 apparently started. However, if you buy the GOTY DLC, you lose that carrot-on-a-stick progression. Forcing players to disable steam DLC, or manually sell their cars and drain their credits is silly. Couldn't we have an option to reset credits to zero, and owned cars to the original few, to experience the career as it was originally designed, pre-DLC? Or maybe the deeper issue is how credits are progression between career mode and the rest of the game are linked? Either way, it sucks that I now can't play the vanilla career mode without having to sell all my stuff and drain my credits manually :'(

1 pointLol there's some quick players out there. But majority of my Weekly Event races I have pole... luckily. I try to make that one count.

1 pointDon't know if NVIDIA related but lately I've had game freezes in online. GTX 1660 Super, FreeSync Monitor 1080p144Hz, fullscreen windowed, DX12, no VSYNC. My game has always ran perfectly. Example below. https://streamable.com/pp9pvw

1 pointIt sounds like an angry mosquito. I wish they can do something about this hideous sound.

1 pointI think most companies have come to realise that a pre-release demo can only really harm potential sales. People only tend to play demos of games they're interested in buying anyway, so if the demo is good the net effect on sales is negligible, while if it's bad, they lose a bunch of customers. (Plus, of course, producing the demo version takes development time away from finishing the game properly.)

1 pointYou have a point there, but your sharing your opinion as well, so people are reacting. I guess however you got some good feedback 😜

1 pointMost of everything is covered here, but I'd also like some detailed statistics, to see which car I'm most successful in by class, drive, era, what I usually go for, perhaps even some driving stats on throttle /brake percentages, late/early apexes etc. It would be cool to see the replays of the top 10 players in time trial to analyze their inputs and wheel angles, not just ghosts. And finally, if I finish masters career I wanna be able to show it off to that one person who would also appreciate it without having to make a screenshot at a particular moment, but that's just my very particular pet peeve 🙂
-
1 pointIt all depends on what car they got hold of in order to scan and take pictures and reference material from. This one is a right hand drive, as an example -

1 pointdamage physics or physics in general.

1 pointHow about 3 digit numbers for the cars, or at least access to the highest number for the maximum number of entrants. In DR2.0 we’ve got 150 entrants in many championships. Silly request, but why not.

1 pointThis is why compulsory online play was, is and always will be a bad idea. Hopefully the servers come back online soon, because I bought Dirt Rally 2 to...play Dirt Rally 2
-
1 pointMy game just decided to reset my championship My Team save due to some supposed data discrepancy during the latest intermittent server uptime, i hope you have a way to restore that. 😞

1 pointFinally decided to pick this up and give it a chance, had few hours to play yesterday and and figured I'd play some more after work, think again... Not he best start. Why on earth single player career mode requires online mode is beyond me, just make a separate time trial mode or some **** that people can use to compete against each other, it's a small fraction of the players who actually care where they land on the global leaderboards.

1 point- Remove this scratches on cars in start of every race! (do it ASAP it destroys photos) - Add more tracks! (1 per season is not enough) - Add demo derby / drift mode - Add the possibility the players to chose sponsors on cars and select the kind of color they want (metalic, matte, glossy ect) - Add text chat in custom lobbies + kick vote system for everyone - Improve damage and collision system

1 pointI use Time trial to get a base setup for my car and reacquaint myself with a track before FP1 in career mode. After season one it becomes much less about a base setup (as I have mine from the previous season and the cars are no where near the same as the TT cars anymore) as it is to just get back in the groove of a track, pick general braking points, etc. This way I can limit the laps needed to be done in practice and reduce wear on my car. Also then I have less of a chance of smashing up my car in practice and Dnf’ing out of the session. I just view this like the simulator work the drivers do IRL. I’ve also suggested a few times that they should have a TT mode inside the career mode accessible from the data center. Have it so you can only drive your teams car and have it have all the upgrades on it like it will in the actual sessions. Obviously the times you set wouldn’t count towards the real TT leaderboards or anything. They could even award R&D points for doing laps on it say 1 per lap, this way it would be more useful to more people.

0 pointsYup, there's nothing you can do about it... I recently lost an entire Masters' championship I was leading with only 8 stages left, won't be touching the career rally anytime soon...
-
0 pointsApparently, the will to fix it, is non existent.

0 pointsThe game is complete as in has all features and content that was planned for it. It's easier to develop new features when the game isnt completed as there may be a smaller chance of some other feature interfering with the new code 🙂
