4 pointsComplete sense here. Thank you @DrDraken. This importance of correct bug reporting can't be underestimated. It gives us a chance to replicate an issue, which is vital 👍 In terms of some other 'discussion' on here, its not on original topic at all. I actually feel bad for you here @DrDraken, as you've taken time and effort to raise an important issue, in a well thought out and considered manner which we truly appreciate and that can help everyone, as have others who have commented here objectively and engaged in a discussion on how bug reporting can improve . We appreciate you

1 pointThis may have been said, but it is something that I've seen some confusion on, so I thought I'd write a quick blurb as someone who has experience in the software industry, and specifically with helping find errors in the code. If you find something wrong with the game, the developers want to know about it. It may have been reported before (always search the bug reporting section for the same bug first, and add to that report) or it may be completely unknown. Regardless, the more information the Devs have about the bug, the easier it is to find and fix. Adding to an existing report gives more data that the Devs can use to zero in on the problem. Imagine there are around 3 million lines of code. I'm guessing, but based on my bit of checking, this is a rough number for a big AAA game. "There's a problem with the game." This means searching through 3 million lines of code, with no way to know what you're really looking for. "There's a problem with the AI." This at least puts the bug in a smaller part of that code, say 50,000 lines of code. (Again, these are numbers designed to illustrate a point, not be 100% accurate.) But we still have a huge number of variables to work with, and far too many possibilities to try to search through. "There's a problem with the AI when coming out of the pits." Ok, we're getting there. Now we're down to just the code that controls that part of the AI behaviour - say, 5,000 lines of code. But again, too many unknowns. Which track, how long was the race, WAS it a race or was it Quali or Practise, etc, etc. "In a 100% length race at Monaco, dry weather, full quali, no practise, standard start time, AI difficulty 94, playing as Hamilton in a Grand Prix (Monaco the only race). Lap 28, as I rounded turn 1 an AI (Vettel) coming out of the pits veered directly in front of me, causing a collision. Video attached. Version 1.2.3. Report code blah-blah-blah." When you provide this much information, and it's in the correct bug report format, it's much easier for the Devs because it gives them what they need to duplicate the situation. The key to finding a bug is being able to duplicate it. If you can't, it's almost impossible to locate and fix. I hope this helps.

1 point@andry9611 I sorry that you haven't been able to complete this achievement. I think what you should be asking Codemasters to do is move the "featured" events to "Solo" mode and take in out of "Multiplayer" mode. Then run a "featured" event every week in "solo" mode. Then in multiplayer mode give us a GP or classic GP. The featured event should never be at the same track as a GP during any given week. This way they are completely independent from each other. After all, when racing an "featured" event, you are running against the AI. This is not multiplayer then. I feel the complete opposite of how you feel, I find the "featured" events boring. I already know how I am compared to the AI. I want to race against other real people to find out how good or bad I may be compared to them. I know I have told you this before, I'm sure there will be a featured event in the near future on an "off" weekend for F1. Hang in there, you will get your chance.

1 pointCan you pick one track/grand prix multiple times in a custom calendar, ie Austria twice and Silverstone twice if we want to try to best replicate the real 2020 season, or if we just love Spa and want to go there 3 times in 10 races? If that's not something included at launch, it would make a good patch, along side or perhaps just adding the 2nd Grand Prix at such tracks as a new event that can be selected when making a calendar.

1 pointIdeally we can not only choose 22, 16, or 10 races but also choose the start times and the order the races come in. And ideally the average weather for the circuit would change depending on those factors. So far I have not read or seen anything that gives any sort of deatils beyond the 3 calendar lengths.

1 pointBut you see how you've switched from faithfulness and authenticity to simulation. I agree, the faithfulness of the track layout is a doozy. Should be in there, no excuses. It's fact. Black and white. But AI behaviour is tough to code. Because we want it to be human, especially in racing. Vettel's AI handicap is probably in the 0.95 region, until he's rattled, then he becomes Spinbastian. I don't know how you code that, because he can go wheel to wheel and be daring. He can also go wheel to wheel and there is contact which usually ends badly with him denying any kind of causal responsibility (i.e. he becomes Schumacher). How do you code Romain Grosjean? Ultra fast (well, compared to KMag generally) but has a tendency to spiral into a blame culture? Then you have Magnussen himself, quiet and getting on with it, usually not a million miles off and then gets an attack of the vapours and starts using the car as a weapon (or at least very aggressive with the positioning). 0 to DEFCON 2 in a moment. I could go on....suffice to say comparing them to a made up cowboy who may or may not have to drop a line of information in the right circumstances a little of a stretch.

1 pointI agree with the kerb detail. Hopefully, someone at Codemasters will use these for reference. There is, I am sure, time to get some of these in through the patch cycle. However, we will have to show some understanding if the 2020 events either take place late or not at all and 2019 references will have to do.

1 pointYeah, but not like you did and the game awarded you the penalty without notifying. It's a game bug, I agree with you.

1 point@BarryBL Thank very much for the response. I kinda figured that I would have to double check while at Gamestop paying for my preorder. Since I am stuck at work all day and want to get home ASAP to practice before I qualify Baku weekly event (with a cold beer), I will call there at noon today to see what I can find out. I will post what they tell me here once I speak to someone at Gamestop. I could also switch to plan B. Which is buy it as a digital download and buy a hard copy later for archives. I just hate putting data on my external HDD. I'm afraid it will fail on me. Thanks again for the response and everything you do for us.

1 pointCustom weather would take the fun of race strategy out of it. If you know what you set the weather to be midway through a race, what's the fun in that?

1 pointI find myself tearing through the landscape in Poland in pretty much anything.

1 pointHey @Wolfgang007 - Welcome to the Forums! As you're experiencing similar issues to others, I would suggest taking a look at this topic to see if you can find a fix. Best of luck!

1 pointI think it’s a good move that Codemasters keep the report codes in the retail game after its launch and viewable from the pause screen. I’m sure when people post bugs if they also post the code along with a detailed description of the issue it should help the developers with replicating the problem. I don’t remember it being in previous F1 games but definitely was in 2019 after the games release and can imagine will carry forward with future titles.
