2 pointsYoutube keeps recommending this, and I can't tell if it's real or not. *Edit: Oh my God, it's actually legit. It's sponsored by the actual Envision Virgin Racing. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV-oK1xe9nSAUUrNI-TrS0g

2 pointsThe lack of difficulty control is why I don't play the career mode at all, and just run custom championships. Really disappointing because I love playing career modes, but I like to find a difficulty I can play on and just have fun, and stick with that, and that just isn't possible with DR 2.0 The whole "just practice and get better!" is fine for people who only play one game, or have no life lol, but it doesn't work for me, I'll play the hell out of a game for a few weeks and then not touch it again for 6 months, and then come back and play it again. This isn't viable with Dirts career mode, because on return I'll just get destroyed if I don't waste a bunch of time trying to get back where I was in free play before continuing... By which point I move on to something else anyway lmao. Its a terrible way to set up a career mode. A shame too, because other than that, this is one of the best rally games ever made imo, which is probably why even without a proper career mode, I've still managed to put a lot of time into it playing alone lol.

2 pointsyour turns are early because of the lower input lag your new screen has. It is better to keep your new screen. lower is better but you need to get used to it. Gamemode on TV's gives you a lower input lag, when you put it off there is a chance it's more like your old TV.

1 pointHello, is there a way to build Club championchips with mixed car classes, like Group B RWD and AWD together. So more cars can compete like it was in real life. Also for othervgroups and cars. Eg Lancer Group A vs Subaru Impreza S4 2000's Or select just different cars like it was possible in Dirt Rally 1 clubs before. It would help to close the gap between fast and not so fast drivers in Clubs of friends.

1 pointThinking about getting the Schumacher edition, but the lack of good co-op season in 19 is why I skipped it and stuck with 18. 18s set up was good, I could alter finishing positions if needed, we could restart races (my friend has a kid so sometimes this was necessary), I know a lot of people also complained at the lack of coop in 19 (no idea if they fixed it somehow later down the road, the 'league' way didn't look good, and I stopped following the game)

1 pointlike @RPJ1984 said, new tv hase lower imput lag which makes that screen shows image faster than your 60 inch tv e.g on you old tv u turn the wheel to right and car doesn't turn immediately cause of imput lag, same is with distance to a corner, on old tv u started braking let's say on 150 meter board but that's what u saw and the truth is that you started to braking on 100 meter board, but screen showed like you were braking on 150m, that how imput lag works, it makes you see less and imo you have less control of the car with it, screens with little imput lag are way better and is the way to go, cause your brain will have less confusing signals and imagies when you will turn your wheel and the wheel or/and car will turn at the same time

1 pointWell, considering it's supposed to be (C)ommunity (A)ssisted (R)acing (S)imulator i'm not even sure how they can call it Project CARS any more because, as has already been officially quoted, it's not 100% simulation and from here on in you can completely forget about any future development being community assisted.

1 point@BarryBL In the hopes of not sounding too gimmicky, would Codemasters be open to the idea of donating some percentage of the sales of the F1 2020 Schumacher edition to Michael’s family? I understand there are probably licensing fees and stuff to use his image and cars, but I think it’d be a really good gesture for CM to donate back to the family given I’m sure a lot of people are now F1 fans thanks to Michael. I know he was a big part of what drew me to F1 when growing up. I think it’d be a good gesture, and it might also give people a bit more incentive to purchase the deluxe edition. I think we all are hoping for some sort of normalcy for Michael again, and just being able to donate to the family in this way seems cool.

1 pointIt is a shame that so few of us is taking part in this edition of Championship. Only 10 cars starting the event. Way too little.

1 point@andry9611 I sorry that you haven't been able to complete this achievement. I think what you should be asking Codemasters to do is move the "featured" events to "Solo" mode and take in out of "Multiplayer" mode. Then run a "featured" event every week in "solo" mode. Then in multiplayer mode give us a GP or classic GP. The featured event should never be at the same track as a GP during any given week. This way they are completely independent from each other. After all, when racing an "featured" event, you are running against the AI. This is not multiplayer then. I feel the complete opposite of how you feel, I find the "featured" events boring. I already know how I am compared to the AI. I want to race against other real people to find out how good or bad I may be compared to them. I know I have told you this before, I'm sure there will be a featured event in the near future on an "off" weekend for F1. Hang in there, you will get your chance.

1 pointRemember, the next game, DR3 probable title, is already being made, and will release before the WRC licensed games.

1 point"Focus on getting better" doesn't help when you provide no advice on how I can get better. You might as well have just said 'git gud'

1 pointCustom weather would take the fun of race strategy out of it. If you know what you set the weather to be midway through a race, what's the fun in that?

1 pointThe best way is: 1. They sould nail all aspects of DiRT Rally 3 (tarmac physics, career mode, more stages per location, etc.) and make a near perfect rally game; 2. Use DiRT Rally 3 as the basis for the first WRC game, keeping all the content and just adding the WRC stuff (cars, teams, missing events, etc.) and that is it. Another thing is the name, Codemasters need to distance themselves to the mediocre WRC games from Kyloton, so just making a WRC12, 13, 14... is not a good thing. In the past Evo Studios developed "WRC: Rally Evolved", maibe this time Codies could make a "WRC: DiRT" or "DiRT Rally WRC", imagine the appeal of this two strong brands together.

1 pointIt's weird how the frequent rain affects some people and not others. I am on my 9th race of my 100% career, and there has been some wet, but only a small amount here and there, and I think only one wet race. But others are reporting rain every race except Bahrain, which does seem a bit excessive. As it's supposed to be a 'realistic' career, I would not like to see wet weather removed completely, (but then again, it's a game with lots of options, so why not) , but it does look like it could do with something improving here, along the lines you suggest. A 'realistic weather' slider from zero to 100, based on the actual likelihood of rain from track to track, would be good. So if you set it on 100, real life probability kicks in, so Bahrain would probably still be dry, whereas Silverstone would likely be wet; but setting it to zero, Bahrain would still be dry, and so would Silverstone. Everyone could be happy with this option.
-
1 pointThey did that for career mode to add a level of unpredictability and because in real life you can’t just magically turn off the rain shower. In the championship mode you can change the weather though
-
1 pointI hope that this news means the split between arcade and simulation, and we could get a Rally 3.0 game with more realism on the physics and in the competition.
-
1 pointOh my. Yes. So very yes. I'm absolutely horrific at starts, and there's no way to practise them without doing a race and just rewinding the start over and over again.
-
1 pointIf only we could get the "Custom Championship" option back from DR1. Pick the number of events for the champ, number of stages per event, AI difficulty, and class - game generates you a championship accordingly and pays out the appropriate credits for the length/difficulty. Would be nice for doing one-off events late at night when you don't want a full championship and only a few more stages before calling it. Or if you have been driving all day and just want to end the session on a high note by doing a "weird" class you normally never pick and drop the AI difficulty to compensate. Or if you ever just needed those last 15 miles to get an upgrade...

0 pointsComplete sense here. Thank you @DrDraken. This importance of correct bug reporting can't be underestimated. It gives us a chance to replicate an issue, which is vital 👍 In terms of some other 'discussion' on here, its not on original topic at all. I actually feel bad for you here @DrDraken, as you've taken time and effort to raise an important issue, in a well thought out and considered manner which we truly appreciate and that can help everyone, as have others who have commented here objectively and engaged in a discussion on how bug reporting can improve . We appreciate you

0 pointsExcuses. Lots of excuses. I play with a controller and I am able to beat Masters and there is still room for more. And I am not even close to the top leaderboard guys. Don't waste your time with excuses and complaining, focus on getting better. If you have trouble getting better, focus on a specific car.

0 pointsMixed Classes in the same Event, no. Mixed Classes across an entire Championship, yes. You could for example have R5 for Wales, then Group A for Sweden etc.
