5 pointsUpdate incoming. I will be beginning to add users into the BETA forums, slowly but surely. We have 900 to do, so don't panic. Also, if you start to see the forum and not receive the code, don't panic. 900 codes is the simpler bit, its getting 900 users into the forums which takes time. To sum up, don't panic 😛

3 pointsAfter watching the video Tiametmarduk uploaded on his 100% Monza race I need to adress an issue. It seems that Codemasters have added some very nice features in the new game, but leaving errors like this in the game is just such a waste of potential. Lapped cars are still not allowed to overtake the Safety Car when behind another driver that is not lapped, which is a huge issue because it makes a big difference if you can attack the frontrunner straight away or first have to pass someone with blue flags and it seems like something that should've been fixed a long time ago. It happened to me more than once that I couldn't attack the guy in front because there were one or more cars seperating us. I've also been the lapped car that gets stuck and not able to overtake where in reality I should be. @BarryBL Is the team aware of this and why is it still a thing in (at least the early builds of) F1 2020? Issue occurs in this video at 12:18

2 pointsI was one of the loudest, when RaceNet was failing pretty much every weekend and on sales and new releases. But since more than a month there wasn't a single problem with RaceNet for me. At least 6 weeks now, longest time in a row since release of the game. Yes, depends on how fast you were and how far off the track when resetting on track. Got a minute time penalty in finland a while ago. Were you've been in USA? 😥 Now my usual summary 😄 Finland: Did several test runs before to get better feel for the car on that track. On SS1 I was very cautious, but also quite slow. Same on SS2: I was more than 8 seconds down after the long straight with those huge jumps and tried to push a bit more to not fall far behind. But I crashed and got a puncture... SS3 was just driving slowly on 3 wheels. Still crashed a few times. Car was completely broken at the service area, could only repair engine and radiator and still got a time penalty for that. SS4-SS7: Car was slow and had basically no turbo. Some crashes still happend. Scotland: Did some test runs before, but was unreliable like Finland. SS1 was ok, but cautious. Barely could follow @Dytut's pace. SS2 and SS3 were pretty god and fast. Was on a run now. SS4: Hit a tree stomp on the left in the 4th(?) corner, got punched to the right into the ditch and crashed against a log. I could brake a bit, so the impact wasn't that big, but still puncture on the front right. Drove on 3 wheels until the finish in SS6. Was quite good, no crashes, spins or whatever. Car was also ok, except the missing tyre, lol. SS7 was quite good, could fully repair the car and was quite fast. I was sure by now the championship was gone, because I was 3 minutes down, what would have been possible for me here. USA: WHAT A RALLY! 😄 That was a really close battle all the way between me, @Dunoon and @denim398! Unfortunately Dunoon seemed to have crashed in SS5. I crashed there too midway through. Even with a roll, but only cost a few seconds and no real damage. I was slightly too fast and touched the outside hill and rolled slowly and back on the wheels 😄 Right after the finish on SS7 I thought I lost to denim398, only realising seconds later that I lost the time to Dunoon and gained on denim398. Wohoo! 2nd rally win this championship and now leading!

2 pointsYep. In all career mode lengths, you can chop and change to suit the tracks you race on, provided its either a 22, 16 or 10 race calendar. This will be available in MyTeam and Career mode.
-
2 pointslee mather has said it takes 1 year of man power to make a new track from scratch so any tracks they dont already have a model of wont be added at a later date, if we get a race at germany this could be added but for example mugello or imola wont be added if you think it isnt good enough then you are just being unreasonable tbh

1 pointF1 2020 is going to have a My Team mode as we all know. We don't know much about it as of yet but that doesn't mean you cannot say what team you would like to create! Some information on my team can be found from here https://www.codemasters.com/game/f1-2020/ 'For the first time, players can create their own F1® team by creating a driver, then choosing a sponsor, an engine supplier, hiring a teammate and competing as the 11th team on the grid. Build facilities, develop the team over time and drive to the top.'

1 pointI’ve finally had a brainwave! As we are under a month away from F1 2020 being released, and we all need our racing fix, I’ll be adding one-off events for a bit of fun. This week is a F2 race meet around the Hungaroring, featuring both a 25% sprint race and a 50% feature race. Open lobby, so first 19 people to join me at that time will meet me on track. Anything interesting or funny happen? For recordings and stuff, also add them here for all to have a laugh at. This is a VERY laid-back event, and as long as its raced in good spirits, all should enjoy! No points or prizes, just a bit of racing to start your weekends! PC Platform, sorry.

1 pointI obviously have no idea if this is in the new game but I think it was be a great immersion factor for career modes. I'd love to visually see that I'm moving my team up the pit lane at the end of each season. You used to be able to easily mod in pre-2015 games but not any longer.
-
1 pointYea, it would be fun to have your pit box at the end at the start of MyTeam and as your car getting better and you score higher notes your pit box moves to the entry to pitlane but I think it will not be a thing in game cuz of licensing. Merc Ferrari and Redbull don't want to be moved down the pitlane due to not-exisiting team imo

1 pointHad this a bunch of times and can ruin your race if your in a lower car example your running near the back of the field and pit but the leader has lapped you if safety car comes out you have to stay with the leading back while the people your battling can go all way round gaining almost a lap on you. Your race is simply finished in this case needs sorting its ridicilous how many years it is taking them to get this right!

1 pointMy apologies - "supported" was the wrong word to use; "compatible" was the one I was looking for. The Open Wheel Add-On is not on Codemasters' compatibility list. Although it does physically work (the car turns when I turn the wheel, pedals work fine and buttons can be mapped and all work like they should), it's apparent that there is something wrong that is seemingly unfixable when using that wheel to play F1 on an XBox console related to the steering input. I play F1 with a guy who uses a Fanatec wheel that also isn't on the compatibility list and he says his wheel feels different under all of the presets. Luckily for him though, he doesn't have the same problem I had. So once I get this different wheel later this week, we'll see if that was, indeed, the problem or if the saga continues...

1 pointThank you @BarryBL, it's always nice to be appreciated, those words mean a lot to me
-
1 pointWell when you say realistic you mean they sound similar to what you hear on TV. F1 cars sound entirely different than they do on TV.
-
1 pointA Volvo, Mazda RX3 and an AE86. Are you kidding me? This is epic
-
1 pointIt would be a real problem to have an “official” F1 2020 game where you couldn’t enact the actual 2020 season! I think they would have to add them, albeit they obviously wont be there at release date.
-
1 pointIf these driver statistics are the same system that has been implemented in the game previously but been hidden, it somewhat explains the "train effect in races." They are far too simplistic and "pace" is the most dominant stat. To my mind there should be more stats for example, quali pace, race pace, dry pace, wet pace, street circuit pace, braking, overtaking, defence, errors, aggression, technical skill, car control, spare capacity (the ability to drive around problems), team player/line wolf... Codemasters f1 games are too simplistic to accurately represent the high tech, high skill, high stakes world of f1.

1 pointYes, new privateer teams entering F1 is such a stupid idea. A large % of the solo player base will use it even if you don't so pretty great idea from CM tbh.
-
1 pointAside from the Lotus 77 in black and gold, I think I might do "Joker's Wild" and do the entire livery in purple and green.
-
1 pointDepends on how detailed the customization will be. If it is a bland copy & paste of the 2019 customization options, where we had to buy premade designs with either ingame or real life cash, with the only option to change 3 colors at a time, then i will surely pass and play normal career mode. But, if we do get a proper editor mode for customization, where we can fully design the cars livery, racing suits, gloves, helmet designs, shoes, team logo to the maximum extent ourselves, with the added bonus of official sponsors to choose from, then i would create a green Jaguar 2020 livery with the iconic HSBC logo on the car. Jaguar in the early 2000's was sexy!
-
1 pointWhen I was really young, I had a toy car, an open wheel racer. John Player Special Lotus 77 in black with gold trim. It was gorgeous. Not that it would be the Lotus 77 in the game, but the livery was stunning, and it would be awesome to recreate that.

1 pointWorst co-driver voice of CM's History and absolute not informative. As you said his talk is flat, boring and there is no direct connection to the given situation in his reaction. Just reading words after each other from the paper.... There are funny moments, for example when he's talking about the tyres and / or the next sevice at the end of a complete rally?! 😄 His voice has no emotions, before a left or right " 1 " corner not louder than every other pacenotes, useless... Sorry Phil, we know it's not your fault. Pleae give us Paul's voice back.
