4 points"No VR support in 2020 is 100% unacceptable." To you, of course, and you're absolutely entitled to that view. But to probably 90% of Codies' target market (and that's probably a conservative estimate given the number of Steam users with VR headsets, for example), it makes no difference whatsoever I'm afraid.

2 pointsTitle. I just picked up a Valve Index and find it ridiculous that Project Cars 1 and 2, Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally 1 and 2, just to name a few have VR support while the game that allows you to adjust the simulated "look to apex" camera movement, F1 2019, does not. Guess what game still doesn't have VR support as of 2020? F1 2020. But they added a few more tracks? You want my money it's going to take more than increasing the track number by one or two. No VR support in 2020 is 100% unacceptable. Edit: I guess I need to buy VorpX for $49 and say goodbye to the game being optimized (as VorpX is very CPU intensive) just to play this is 3D? https://youtu.be/aPrWuVNFCv4 This isn't a solution, as you can see by the comments below the video it has limitations, it's onl 3 DOF etc., native VR support please. Here's what F1 2020 could be like (with better graphics), maybe I should just get whatever game this is as they are more deserving of my money having incorporated native VR support: https://youtu.be/1c8hCERK2io

2 pointsYes that was certainly true in the past, as a kid I was lucky and came from a well off family, because I couldn't attract any sponsorship for my Karting (most male kids could get sponsors no problem...little ones like the local mechanic or tyre place), later on I followed my cousins example and ran my own team...then I crashed through a fence and retired on the spot. LOL But the point I'm making is that girls struggle more then boys to attract interest in them as drivers, people apply stereotypes to racing drivers and those don't include girls/women. You should've seen the rubbish people posted on the aussie V8 Supercars website every time Simona di Silvestro did poorly (who is a lovely person, thanks for the signed poster Simona). Male drivers copped it too but they were always called idiots/morons or the like. Simona constantly got gender based derogatory comments.

1 pointI couldn't disagree more. People typically buy games to beat them 100% and get the Platinum Trophy. If you spend the money and buy a game like F1 2019 whenever it may be. Could be today, could be months from now. Let's say you know nothing about F1 and you impulse buy it at your local gaming store while browsing. (That's how I ended up owning it) You get it home and realize 2 Trophies will be unobtainable due to online events not happening anymore because a certain date was reached. I think the onus should be on Codemasters to place a warning on their game stating that certain trophies will not be obtainable when the newest version (2020) comes out. If I purchase a game even if it's years later, I expect to be able to get the 100% completion and Platinum Trophy. Or another option would be for Codemasters to send out an update/patch to users where it eliminates the 2 online trophies that are now unobtainable thus making it possible to reach 100% completion.

1 pointNope. The time taken would be far too great for them to ever make it into the game. Imola might have a very slim chance being as they have a model from 2013. Hockenheim also would have a chance. But codemasters themselves have said that new tracks would just not be worth the time taken, for them and for us.

1 pointIn an interview it was said that through your responses to interview questions it will be possible to build a rivalry with another drver rather than selecting a driver to beat.

1 pointYou're too blinded by your own nonsense that you're missing the point here. All I said was I wish we had the option to pick liveries from other official team ones. You jumped us onto the road of racism and lumping everyone who would like an OPTION in to a bunch of racists. That's riduclous man. You know what, if ferrari decided to run a livery this season with yellow dots all over it, then yes. I want the option to run it. You see, because it's not about what you want to make it about. It's simply about having an option. If a team shows it in the season, then let me pick it. I know I never demanded they add an option to run silver instead of black. I said I'd like an option. Again, you're missing the actual point here I'm trying to make. I responded to you for making the assumption that anyone who wants the option is because their a racist. That's my problem, you pointing the finger and making those accusations based on someone saying it'd be a cool addition to have the option. I'm not sure why you're missing that point here. You mean to tell me, that if Red bull said hey, for 3 races this year we're going to run a silver car. You don't want the option to drive either the blue, or the silver? Of course you do. IF you don't, then your rant on realism is... over. That's what I'm saying. If a team runs a different livery in testing, than they announce as official, and then runs a "special" scheme either for the remainder of the year or for several races guess what.. I'd like the ability to run either 3 of those that I want. Because, you know... REALISM. I lump testing liveries into that too, hence my request for the option to run the Renault all black from testing. It's not about anything more than an option to some, it's not about racism and that doesn't make me a racist. It' makes you ignorant, amongst other things. We'll agree to disagree here and move on...

1 pointThank you and it's a Simon and Patrick Songsmith. Nothing too fancy. I may get a Takamine for my next. I've only been playing/learning for a couple years. I'm a 90's kid so I play alot of Nirvana songs. Power chords are easier for me than bar chords.

1 pointThe next Season has been set up. Launch: Tonight at 00:00! H2 RWD Shifted Year Finland dropped Australia as Safari No special Weather. Good Luck everyone!
-
1 pointNot sure if that would be possible as if you have f1 2019 if you look at the customization options of the multiplayer cars it looks like that's what we're getting so a design and then 3 colour choices.

1 pointThe idea of them was pretty good, and I hope the new rivalry system makes it more interesting. I had high hopes for he Senna-Prost rivalry, but that was not quite what I was hoping for.

1 pointIt could easily be argued that the biggest discrimination in F1 is class. How many working class racing drivers do you see? F1 was set up by rich people for rich people. It's never changed and probably never will. Lewis Hamilton's dad had to work multiple jobs just to get him to karting, but so many racing drivers have had it easy because of their parents money. I'm not talking about people like Stroll or Latifi, but kids with moderately well off parents who can afford every step in the junior categories. Yes, they need to be fast to get anywhere, but being given a huge leg-up really helps. Who knows, there might be someone who can't afford to go racing out there who is quicker than Hamilton?

1 pointI'm not going to comment on the reasons behind the black livery, but only on the thing Codemasters should do, in my opinion. In the F1 games, we always race with the livery the teams use throughout the whole season. Special one race livery's were never included in the game and I don't see any reason for that to happen in the future. But with this Mercedes livery, we aren't talking about one race, we're talking about an entire season. So I don't understand why it is even debatted that there should be an option for us to change liveries. We weren't able to use the Red Bull camouflage liveries they've used in previous seasons. Why not? Because it isn't the livery they use during races. You won't see FIFA 21 using extra kits with BLM kits or other special kits that football teams use all the time. It makes no sense, cause you would invest valuable man hours to make a new livery or kit to just correspond with one race or match in an entire season. It's just not worth it and I'd rather have Codemasters use this time to develop the game even further. Even though the silver Mercedes livery is already done, I don't believe it deserves a place in the F1 2020 game.

1 pointTo say that black people's struggle is an USA problem is disingenuous. If you're being honest about it, if you actually think that the whole BLM movement is an issue local to American society, I don't blame you for being so off the mark with Merc's decision: it really shows how some people have the privilege to be oblivious about a given minority strife. I am from a third world country with a poor performance on both HDI and Gini indexes. You'd think that with so much economic inequality people would have camaraderie to their fellow middle class peers but that is not true at all. Black people struggle is on a whole different level here too. Merc has a black driver on one of their seats and it just happens that not only Hamilton is one of the greatest drivers of this generation, he is one of the greatest ever. What are you suggesting? Don't be unfair, you gotta have at least an inkling of how hard it is to break the mold on such a high order of motorsports. By being not only porous but to resonate the zeitgeist like Mercedes is doing right now is without precedent. This whataboutism is nothing but tactless. Edit: @Czar90 back on topic... Right? 2019 Haas was a gem. I was disappointed with both their 2020's livery and Renault's. It is a relief to have another black car on the grid and I can't wait to see it live as 3D renders can deceive the eye.

1 pointIf anybody is having issues with moving wheels and pedals, I suggest saving money and building your own sim-rig. I built this myself all in for under 200 bucks. I got the seat out of a 08 Chevy Cruze sport model, it adjusts every which way. 80 bucks at the wreckers. Just make sure you get a seat with slider rails that are flat and equal on both sides. That way it's level when bolted to the wood. Some wood, screws, time and black paint and voila, you have yourself a strong rig. I can kick this thing and it doesn't move. I've since added 2 more pieces of wood to the outside of the wheel uprights making it immovable. It will be the best thing you ever build.

1 pointOh come on! This is just ridiculous and I need to speak up. Why all of a sudden there should be optional liveries because there is a livery that takes a stance against racism? I didn't see anyone commenting in the Williams livery topic that the new one should be optional. And now all of a sudden there should be options to change the official car livery so there is isn't a black car taking a stance against racism in your game? It's because of this **** they had to introduce the livery in the first place.

1 pointSame colours as my multiplayer helmet. They've clearly been watching me and were impressed.
-
1 pointNow we talk 😀 I'm in. And not to forget, congrats 👍
-
1 pointGrats @UnderclassGDfan! Fun fight throughout the season 😄 Now for the next season, I will choose a car that I actually enjoy. The Subie '08 was simply horrible to drive, definitely my least favourite car of the game.
-
1 pointIt's badges like the liveries. Don't expect to much of them because they look very basic. I hope they have a lot of badges to choose from
-
1 pointNeed one more entry, "Entertainment" Ricciardo and Lando with numbers 99 😄
-
1 pointNone what a stupid idea give us a real F1 simulation not this type of gadget for kids...
