    1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. "Connecting to online servers" is displayed in the middle of the screen blocking the view of the game for intervals of 5seconds, which occurs every 3seconds. You're still able to drive but not clear as "the connecting to online servers" message is shown. I know many people experiencing this problem, everyone I've spoken too has had this problem, not even joking, it's ridiculous. 2. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.03 3. Game-mode? Multiplayer 4. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. 50+ multiplayer races. This occurs every single lap at least 10 times. So 500 times. 5. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Reset console, reset internet, leave and re-join, close and open F1 2020 application. 6. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Gamepad 7. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

With F1 2019 having a wide-variety of customisation stuff, including liveries, overalls, gloves, helmets etc. , I had a same level of expectation that we will get something similar in F1 2020. Especially with the new Podium Pass feature. I took a look on YouTube and in the game to see, what liveries overalls and helmets we can win. Unfortunately I have to say that F1 2020's customisation is a massive disappointment compared to F1 2019. The amount of helmets, overalls, gloves that were available us, have let me down aswell. The majority of the helmets and overalls that looked good, and were worth wearing, have been swept down, leaving me and other players being able to choose from completely basic ones. Same with the liveries. I cannot belive that all the good looking liveries you made in F1 2019, are not in this years game, instead we got liveries that look like, that they were made by beginners (with the exception of the British flag shape and the galactic livery). In my opinion, these liveries should have made it into F1 2020: Avax - G-Sync Xenon - Bisect Atlantic - Vostok Zanzare - Flow Venus - Data Stripe Xenon - Dorsal Lupo Industries - Full Moon Distort - Swipe Monnaie - Heritage Avax - Cockpit Achevée - Gradient Xenon - Dart These liveries looked completely amazing, and no matter what color combination you made, it gave you the feeling that, you'd belong to the grid. And since we are at multiplayer cars, I also want to express my opinions about putting sponsors on the cars. I am happy that we can put sponsors on the cars, but it needs a little update. Each livery template should have their own sponsor spots and there should be an option where we can set the size of the sponsors. There are sponsors which size are extremely tiny on certain parts of the car (like XXY). Overall this is what I think about the customisation system of F1 2020. I hope that sooner or later this will be updated.

As usual I'm going against the argument. At first I was disappointed as well. Until my podium pass was activated and saw that it is Pokemon style or as some would say SWB2 style of accuring new stuff. I like this sort of keeping-user-engaged-method of distributing prizes. I think I even suggested to do it this way. I love turning on the console just to see if there is a new livery available I want. But I do understand people who don't like that playful element in the game.

I have to agree and its really disappointing because in the year 2020 with video games where they are today its just crazy how limited and basic the customization is.

I find it quite difficult to have a certain color pallete in for example 'My Team', because everytime you have to manually get the exact same colour so that it matches up with your branding, which is quite annoying. Would be great if we can save custom/team colors as a preset or something.

If it is because of the virtual mirror then it's my fault. I wanted a virtual mirror and I'm using it. I'm also glad with split screen So if what you are saying is correct, because I haven't noticed a HUGE downgrade in graphics quality on the PS4 Pro, I can only applaud the decision of Codemasters as in my opinion only 1% would notice the difference

I agree. I have only managed 2 races so far but I am loving the AI and the fact they can run wide now and make mistakes. Definitely think it is a big step up so far and makes it much more realistic. Now all we need is player mechanical failures... And dare I mention it, but I havnt really heard of any big bugs so far. Yes audio is a bit out of balance but that is easily rectified.

I was starting to be ok with the idea of the virtual currency for cosmetic improvements until I started the game and saw what was available. The impression it gives is that they removed most of the content from base game and will make it restricted through Podium Pass, which would be ok if points were given more fairly. The problem is that its looking to be more like a Star Wars Battlefront 2 scenario.

I was in a my team race, and caught the back of the leaders. Unfortunately the entire field was ahead so I had to let the entire field lap me on the restart. Because of this I now have the shame of being lapped by Raghunathan.

Hello Codemasters, it would really be helpful if we would get a HUD for replays so we can see which lap the replay currently is in and who is leading the race and what the time gaps to all the other drivers were. The spectators' HUD which is currently used for spectating an online race would make so much sense for replays in general (especially offline mode) to be able to keep track and to make the whole experience far more exciting. Thank you 🙂

Currently the sliders for the color picker are extremely cumbersome. Shouldn't be too hard to add a field to enter RGB codes.

Any news on this? Still not working

As a native Italian speaker, Scuderia literally means "owned stable" its comes from the northern region when the only racing was from wealthy families putting their "Scuderia" (horse stables) against each other for money in horse racing. Motorsport teams just copied that term as they were usually wealthy families also or had wealthy donors. As for the 'term' in the game Ferrari could demand their car be bright pink in the game not their real life red if they want, its all part of licence agreements and Codemasters would have to agree gain the licence to use their assets. Perhaps @BarryBL who I know is very busy right now, maybe he can close this thread down as the tone of the arguments here is too aggressive for a simple MyTeam name

Push to regain time? Yeah that is the right/best way to have a crash again
  15. 3 points
He's absolutely right. Theres absolutely nothing to stop Ferrari restricting the use of the word in an F1 term for the game. Nothing at all. Same reason we can't use Honda, Renault etc. It could be an oversight by CM, its most likely an enforced contract term. Scuderia actually means stable anyway, not team. So perhaps you should get your own dictionary out first.

I rest my case. You don't seem to understand licensing. No reason to waste more keyboard strokes here.
  17. 3 points
It is not solely Codemasters decision about what words are licensed and what words are not. If Ferrari put down in the contract which words cannot be used in my team mode, I suggest write them a complaint as well.

A few people have said this, but honestly, on PS4 pro, i can see no difference at all. Maybe just affecting PC or xbox?

As much as I enjoy an actual/full qualifying session, issues like these have made me use one shot for the last few years. It's not as immersive but it's pretty much the only way to make sure all the AI are setting a real time rendered lap time that's spot on for the selected difficulty.

has been happening to me as well, It was occurring in the beta as well
  21. 3 points
This has been happening none stop. Online is unplayable when it occurs.

Please don't say this. Last years game the AI always rocket themselves and had perfect starts. Now it's very realistic. Please, don't complain about this, the starts this year are perfect and realistic!

Ahhh, this debate. To give you a 'Cliffnotes' on last years discussion, we: Compared lap times of the best players on wheel vs controller - Evenly Matches Have to take into account a WIDE range of variables - Driver ability, time and effort on pad vs wheel. That ALL players should have a even and competitive arena to compete After 36 hours claiming that pad is better than wheel or wheel being better than pad is just assumptions on your gameplay style and choices. With all respect, its not nearly long enough to even get to a consistant standard and familiarity with the game. It is very much a game based on meritocracy. If you are fast, you are fast, regardless of the equipment you use. I'm better on the wheel than the pad because I practice on that more because its more fun for me. But, I'm pretty close with the pad because of my driving experience and playing racing games. I'm still a midfield driver in a very good racing community regardless. I have good days and bad ones, like in real racing. Some places I'm quick, some I need to practice on. There is no competitive advantage over the course of a lap from equipment to equipment.

We acknowledge that this isn't in following of F1 rules, and there is/has been internal discussions about this.

Exactly @AllenB2609, we couldn't. The issue is, when the game got into that phase, we had limited pre-season data to use rather than the scheduled 8 race weekends (so practice, quali and full races) we would've had. Take Austria for the easiest example. All numbers are very rough. 71 laps in race, A race programme for each driver - Assume another 71 laps in Practice, Other practice programs - 50 laps, 5 laps in Quali, Per Driver = 197 laps. Round that to 200. Per driver. 4000 laps per race weekend. So 3000-4000 laps per weekend x 8 races we would've had data for - Between 24,000 and 32,000 laps of data we didn't have this year to judge performance off before release. So we had to base it on the next best logical thing. Looks like it wasn't totally accurate, but to be expected. It is a very exceptional circumstance to have the game release the same time the season starts, because season starting is a great unknown to everyone. Remember, we have builds the game far before the planned Austria GP.
