7 pointsWhy are you taking it so personally? We all know that some of the top players on the leaderboard are cheating. We can all see that. You are still in the top 10 out of 6,400 players who entered last weekend on PS4. You still win the 'Elite' trophy for being top 5%. (as did I) This ranting and raving you're doing is ridiculous. It's a little embarrassing to see someone acting so over-the-top about something that is ultimately so inconsequential.

6 pointsThere's so much going on on the forums, there isn't that many staff here to look and reply to each case immediately. Barry like other staff on here are human beings and need sleep and rest. They're not robots. Fixes and patches won't come instantly. We all need to be patient but make sure that when we find bugs and errors we are reporting them in the correct place, using the correct bug reporting format and making sure we don't duplicate posts which can be time consuming for staff going the TA section. The leaderboard situation isn't game breaking and there are quite a few other issues that need more attention right now.

4 pointsProbably hard to say, but is there any idea on when a fix will be available, is it hours, days, weeks, months? I'm checking this thread a few times a day, as I'm really eager to play the my team mode, but is pretty useless if I get DQ'ed every race

4 pointsHi @Mike5500, why you so angry? I understand you want the cheaters out but Barry is not your maid. Now tell me why this is so important to you that everyone has to drop what they are doing to right this wrong for you? Is there money to be won at the top? Is there betting going on and nobody told me about it? Or are you that good that you should have won this event. If it's the latter I feel for you and hope you will be rewarded with the shiniest virtual item codemasters has ever created. Just curious what makes you tick

3 pointsIf in fact your games track limits are staying that way then can i suggest you ad a realistic setying for track limits as regular is far to lenient and strict is far from realistic.

3 pointsI don't think the 'slippery slope to a microtransaction (MTX) filled game future' argument is that strong, purely because we've seen how Codemasters have been very deliberate in introducing options for microtransactions. We've had countless examples of big controversies over MTX over the last few years - EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2, NBA 2K series, etc. We've seen that any items that affect performance for online play receives a massive backlash and leads to really bad PR. So Codemasters surely will have learnt that lesson and know never to introduce anything where you can ‘pay to win’, especially in multiplayer. Also, they clearly have been very careful about introducing MTX into the series. MTX like these have been around for quite a while now, yet they’ve only just introduced them into F1 over the last two years. That tells you that they are being very strategic in introducing them slowly and deliberately to not upset the player base and the balance of the series by dumping a load of MTX into the game. Finally, everything is cosmetic and the Podium Pass allows you to earn enough so that you don’t ever have to pay for anything if you get the pre-order bonus. I got my 15,000 pitcoin for the pre-order bonus Schumacher edition, bought the VIP pass with 9,000 and have already got back up to 8,500 through bonus coins by unlocking tiers. Given that there’s 50 days or so left, I’m pretty confident I will reach Tier 30 before the end of the series and have enough to buy Season 2’s VIP pass too. The way it works now, it feels perfectly reasonable to me. If they start to skew the balance more towards forcing you to pay, rather than giving you a reasonable opportunity to earn everything through playing the game, then I think we can start to get a little upset. However, the way it is now feels like it’s pretty fair. I trust that Codemasters will see that they’ve hit a good balance and not look to upset that in future editions of the game. Hopefully they’ll see enough of a boost in income from the people who choose to spend money for Pitcoins to satisfy them so that the rest of us can continue to enjoy the game as it works now.

3 pointsAll this talk of Grosjean retiring, Guenther Steiner must be wishing this game was real life 😂😂

2 pointsLooks like Codies have finally gone down the devil's path and decided to go all EA on us. What absolute nonsense it is to have a game mode where customisation etc is one of the key aspects, but then give hardly any customisable options and lock the rest behind a paywall. 6 mediocre helmets, and hardly any car liveries and overalls, because you have to pay for the rest, despite already paying around £50 for the game in the first place. Don't bother telling me "you can unlock a lot of it through gameplay" because firstly: you can't unlock ALL the items and secondly: it's just a terrible excuse for CM's to deliberately not include content in the game, so they can add it in at a later date and charge you for it. C'mon Codemasters, do the right thing, surely you know these in-game transactions are just really scummy game practices.

2 points1. Detailed Description Configure a ERS Mode Increase and ERS Mode Decrease Button Shortcut in the MFD settings. Join any qualifying session and you can't use the button shortcut to switch the ERS modes from 2 Hotlap to 0 None or vice versa. If you are currently in the MFD menu it will switch to ERS, however it won't change the mode you're in. You can only manually switch the ERS mode via the navigation buttons/joystick (whatever you have) but not via a configured shortcut. The ERS Mode Increase/Decrease shortcut is working just fine in Training sessions, just not in Qualifying. 2. Game Version 1.03 / Steam 3. Affected Game-modes Any game mode with Qualifying is affected. 4. Replication tries and steps Replicated multiple times. Also every single member of my league who tried it has the same problem indicating it's not a system/configuration/controller type issue but a bug. Replication Steps: Configure ERS Mode Increase/Decrease Shortcuts in the MFD Shortcuts menu Join any game mode with Qualifying (e.g. Grand Prix, Multiplayer) Press the ERS Mode Increase/Decrease Button ERS Mode is not beeing changed from 0 to 2 or 2 to 0 5. Troubleshooting Attempts I've tried resetting the Control & Calibration Scheme to default and also switching from wheel to keyboard. 6. Used Peripherals CSL Elite F1 Esports Wheel (Elite v. 1.1 Base) & also tried using a keyboard. 6. Screenshots/Video Video (length 10 seconds): https://streamable.com/f8sajy

2 pointsIn the game I noticed Williams and AlphaTauri have the wrong colour dot on the mini map and colour stripe at the top left of the screen on the position standing during the race and classification after each session. On the real TV display AlphaTauri’s is white, in the game it is dark blue. And Williams’ is suppose to be dark blue, in the game it is light blue. I know it’s only details, but I’d say it’s a nice easy to fix suggestions for a future patch.

2 pointsThe one thing that really helped me with this is not actually setup related... though you could argue it is in way (i’m sure they can setup throttle mapping). Try adding some linearity to the accelerator in the controller setup. I use about 25 and it gives you a finer control at low input.

2 pointsRemove micro transactions, fix the bugs from last 5 years you didnt fix but did copy again. Most important add (copy from F12018) Coop championship.

2 pointsThe most important thing here is that you only need to invest in one category to get to spec 3 and thus all the upgrades in that area. However this comes with a maintenance cost increase so be careful. I made some mistakes but I figured in hindsight what I should have is focused on one area (Chassis) but still invested slightly into resource point generation for the other areas which is what I'd put money into first, get those passive resource points rolling in. I generally prefer investing in Chassis in general because of lower tyre wear and less weight but that's my preference. I'm at that point now and everything that's a part of the car is spec 2 and chassis is spec 3. Doing it over again, I'd have focused on the chassis during the interview questions I split between durability and chassis cus I like to get the gearbox upgrades done asap but you only need spec 1 to get all the gearbox durability you should need. The Powertrain gets a lot of upgrades at spec 1, so you can leave that, but the Aero badly needs spec 2, you only get 5 upgrades at spec 1. I also wonder about activities involving boosting the second driver stat. The simulator boosts do work and help their stats, but not massively as far as I can tell, I get the feeling you're still going to need a good second driver unless your car is far and away the best on the grid to win the constructors title. Was hoping to be able to train drivers up. I'm not sure about marketing, I mean the penalties are fairly negligible and it comes with a 10,000 weekly upkeep cost. Not a big deal, but it's not 0. The acclaim boost doesn't seem worth it at all based on what you have to pay and how long it takes to pay off. Which is a shame because my plan initially was to invest heavily in making money in the first season but one look at those returns saw me look the other way, unless I'm reading into it incorrectly. The other one 'may' be worth it but I wasn't clear on whether it helped 'all activities' or just ones that boosted the other departments. Player perks are really good and fairly cheap too with no maintenance cost so there is that.

2 pointsNot a big issue, just noticed a couple weird spelling errors in the answers in the first press interview with Mr. Buxton. The answer at the top and the one to the right are the ones I noticed. "We're still finding out feet here" and "Maybe pick up a podium two"

2 pointsThank you for the consideration. Phenom users like me always suffered with the lacking of some instructions sets like the SSE 4.1 and 4.2 from Intel very early, it's not a "10 year old incompatible CPU issue, so buy a new computer" like some people say. That kind of thing happened in 2015 with the Metal Gear Solid V on launch (fixed later). No Man's Sky forum threads also had that kind of comments about Phenom owners but at the end got fixed by developers, not forgetting also Fair Cry 5 that today don't require 4.X anymore and some new games (Resident Evil 3, Dragon Ball Kakarot) that are able to run on these CPU's and play just fine.

2 pointsI've PMed @Peachrocks with this already but figured that is no reason not to post it here too. Not long ago I uploaded this Excel worksheet for people to take note of their performance and setups. I'm working on expanding it and will try to post a F1 2020 version this week. But I don't mind sharing the work in progress! It is still a mess. Like, Capital "M" Mess. But you'll be able to see my setups and my understanding of how things work. I'll most definitely revisit lots of definitions as each day I learn something new and it's been a while since I jolted it down on the spreadsheet, but maybe you could put it to use as it is. I'll settle down on a format style and put sense into it all soon. I started playing Codemasters F1 maybe three weeks ago? I don't remember. But I was a slow cow playing at AI lvl 19 that had never heard of toe beyond the anatomic sense and the xvideos kinky category. So yeah, there's that. I suggest reading the topic first. 2 pointsThis is something they really need to add. At the least give us the option to turn it off for the ai.

2 pointsHi All, As previously mentioned, the CPU falls below our minimum specification so we are unable to offer proper support for it. Our official recommendation is to pursue a refund if you are able to. The dev team have taken a look at the crash dump that was provided and think they can stop that particular crash, but there might be other issues afterwards that we don't know about. As we are unable to test on these older chips anymore, any change that we make is purely speculative and might not work so please don't miss out on the opportunity to claim a refund by waiting for this fix. I will update this thread once there is more information on if and when a potential fix can be added to a future patch. Thanks.

2 pointsIts optional. It's not there to force you buy stuff. If people choose to do it thats on them. No need to be such a jack*** about it.

2 pointsNot sure if it's been mentioned yet, but trackside replays could be much more gritty and exciting if the model of the almighty RBR is followed. That game still has superior replays: - lower to the ground camera positions, - cameras wobble, zoom and shift in the manner of hand-held operation by tv crews. Currently it's a step up from DR1 but the trackside camera replays have a more abstract, less visceral feel than RBR. It's too smooth and automated a feeling. Observe and marvel:
