11 pointsSo, I'm doing My Team and I'm in Hanoi. Start on mediums and just as I'm about to change for softs a SC is triggered. After the race I went to see the replay out of curiosity and boy oh boy! I laughed so hard! 😂 Youtube Video Proof! I'm scared Codemasters, really scared.

4 points"By design" meaning "too small an issue to bother with" here. If it is actually by design, i.e. someone sat down and went "this should work like this instead of the other way" it has to be the dumbest design I've seen in a while.

3 pointsThis is my SAUBER LooP 🙂 Engine: Mercedes Teammate: Correa 50% - Élite - 94% AI - FP & Q as real Post yours 😉

3 pointsI was in a my team race, and caught the back of the leaders. Unfortunately the entire field was ahead so I had to let the entire field lap me on the restart. Because of this I now have the shame of being lapped by Raghunathan.
-
3 pointsWhat annoys me the most is when you're on an in-lap the AI just freeze along side you and let you past, but as soon as you put your foot down they do the same. They kind of mimic your actions. Which is stupid.
-
3 pointsOk guys, I’m going to put a lock on this. Naming and shaming is against forum rules and same as name calling. Not telling you I don’t agree at some point regarding cheaters but everyone is not guilty unless proven otherwise. If you are not able to discuss this without breaking forum rules you leave me no other choice. There are other ways to point out the cheaters in direct email to CM.
-
3 pointsUpdate: We now have a fix in testing hoping to get this into the next patch. Thank you for all the feedback

2 pointsI can’t take this Xbox drama any longer and not gonna spend an entire year lagging behind other platforms. Unfortunately gotta buy the game again but the switch to PC is gonna be well worth it with all the great mods available. Next step is gonna be a complete rig and before you know it’s I’m in $5K but I’m hooked I love racing
-
2 pointsThey do but not as sensitive for the player. almost none. They can't dynamically change tyre pressure in setup, and adjust to driving so much due to temps. Would be too much data for the ai. This scenario sounds like that high if not highest tyre pressure were needed.
-
2 pointsI agree. Abs on is way to powerfull atm. Our league is forced to change the rules to no assists because otherwise abs assist users would have advantages.
-
2 pointsThanks guys, with developers. Hoping to have something shortly on this.

2 pointsWhere's the improvement from last years game? The list in unranked still doesn't show the correct current status of the lobby its so frustrating. In ranked, you cant even choose where to join but either have to wait out the quali + whole race or keep leaving and joining lobbies - we're in frickin' 2020 what is this ? Mind you, you can't use the kerbs because the track limits are more stringent than the choice of haircuts in North Korea but all these idiots are free to take out 4 cars in turn 1 and get the same warning you get for using the kerbs properly What a joke

2 pointsWe used that mod for our Tier 3 races in 2019. Here's an example:

2 pointsI have also a hard time to overtake the AI in front of me. But, i love it so much this year. This is Racing how it should be. When it would too much of slipstream effect i would be able to overtake the AI easily. I don't like that. So, Codemasters made it perfect this year. In Australia, i was over 30 laps behind my teammate and i found no way to overtake him. This is realistic ! Awesome !

2 pointsMike5500, do you mind my being a bit candid and forthright here? I've been on this forum for a handful of weeks now and I've seen lots of posts and topics from you. I think you're a valuable member here and any community could use people like you. Sincerely, I've seen some legitimately wholesome content from you! But not on this subject, unfortunately. I mean the forum rules and being disingenuous (or misguided) on what they entail. Naming & shaming is not referring to a person by their given name. It is about pointing people out (naming), even if by their internet alias, in a context of exposing their hypothetical condemnable behaviour (shaming). There are a couple reasons for that. Protecting or being lenient to cheaters are not. Doxing, witch hunting, and swatting are. Just examples of what can go wrong when platforms don't set clear rules like the ones this forum upholds from the get go. There are proper channels and means to report acts of possible cheaters and as far as I know Codemasters do have a system to treat them, even if not with the efficiency we all want. Repeatedly and insistently creating new topics to point out the issue while taking liberties with the no naming & shaming rule is objectively detrimental for the community for bumping other topics to the back pages, and potentially detrimental for creating a toxic environment given that when we are too trigger happy with accusations and wrong about their cheating they get an uncalled-for truckload of negativity. You don't need to agree with these rules. Just to abide. They're also in place for your benefit. Case in point. Seeing the screenshot posted by @TactXO (naming) and your post about how it is "basically a Leaderboard of who cheated the best" (shaming) the message I take home is that any and all of the users identified on the picture are scummy cheaters. What if I find myself with too much free time on my hands, have the means, take your opinion for granted and decide to take action against them? C'mon, mate. We can do better. We all can.

2 pointsYeah it seems like ABS is way to go in this game which is most certainly disturbing. Assists should help people who doesn't know how to drive without them however it shouldn't make fast guys even faster. In the game no assists should ALWAYS be faster than with assists on. If you check the photo below from Zandvoort TT, you may notice the pattern of the fastest times. On that photo there is only one guy without assists and he is probably the fastest guy (at least top3) in PS4 currently without assists. The photo was taken straight after patch 1.04 came to PS4. So like in F1 2019, ABS should make braking distances longer. Now it doesn't do that. Currently you can actually apply higher braking force through it as you don't need to trail brake at the end of braking phase. Also with ABS you can even turn the car without getting massive understeer which you get when locking up. Think about Vietnam turn 1 or Vietnam hairpin, you really need to lift the brakes before turning as those are slow speed corners, however with abs you can start turning at the same time when trying to hit that apex. This makes braking distances longer for ABS off. Does that seem fair or even reasonable? For sure no.

2 pointsWe acknowledge that this isn't in following of F1 rules, and there is/has been internal discussions about this.

1 pointHi everyone, We've had reports that some users are still missing Pitcoins. Please only add your gametag/username and platform here so we can look at our internal logs and investigate the issue. Please note: Try and ONLY add the requested information. This will really help our investigation as we will be able to see the other details we need from your gamertag search. Many thanks, Barry

1 point1. A detailed description of the problem. Please enter all error codes here. ABS on is far too powerful It should be of help not to be as fast or faster than drivers without ABS without much effort ABS on should be slowed down by 3 tenths per lap. I'm in different leagues and people are complaining massively. 2. Which version of the game you are using (appears on the home screen in the lower left corner of the screen) 1.04 3. Game mode? Time Trail, online lobbies 4. What are your replication numbers? There are minimal test attempts 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps so we can try. Talked to drivers, compared TimeTrail lists, Tested even with ABS (otherwise drive without) 5. What troubleshooting have you tried? Please always try to fix the problem to be faster with ABS and talked to other fast drivers to test out Most say ABS on is faster! Which cannot be. 6. Which peripherals do you use (gamepad, bike manufacturer & model etc.) Fanatec DD, other guys have the CSL Elite 7. Any screenshots or videos of the problem? If the video is long, please provide a timestamp when the problem occurs. Could only show TT screen shots

1 pointHi everyone, Please check the link below for latest updates on Week One of F1 2020, the feedback and what we are currently working on: https://www.formula1game.com/2020/news/f1-2020-week-one-update Please note these are the main issues we have seen and are working on, there is always smaller improvements coming too. Many thanks, Barry

1 pointOther people have been experiencing the same. If you look at my full report you´ll see I chose mercedes, which are fairly reliable. And no, it´s not my driving, I´ve looked at the gears my friend was using and there was no difference. For me to have 58% wear in one race and him having 20-30% in 6 races is definetly not my fault.

1 pointI just had an interesting 50% race at Monza. The weather was set to dynamic, but from start to finish there was light rain that never got going. The fastest tires were dries, although Jeff kept repeating he wasn't entirely sure. DRS was available all race. Anyways, I couldn't get any of the dry compounds to correct operating temperatures, even though I was trying to warm them up by doing 4-wheel drifting at 300km/h. The end result was that I was 2 seconds a lap slower than my AI competitors at a difficulty I can just about normally beat them with. My question is this: do AI cars have dynamic tyre temperatures or are they always at optimum? They don't do tyre warm up behind safety cars so I'm inclined to think they are always at optimum temps.

1 pointTo update everyone here, we have a fix currently in test and hope to have this out for the next patch. A huge 'thank you' to those high-quality reports which have helped us dig into the issue.

1 pointHello, my game crashes every time i try to access the Podium Pass or the Item Shop (on PC). I tried everything! I tried different settings, i tried to start the game in safemode, with directx11 but nothing worked. I really want to get this solved, but i have no idea how. I can't find anything on the internet about that kind of error. Offline modes like the Carreer mode work fine, only the Podium Pass and the Item Shop cause problems. I include a couple of error files. Game version: 1.03 Thank U for your help in advance! dred.txt dred.txt
