4 pointsThe problem is that the implementation of the safety car in the game is a mess since years! They should spent effort on fixing this (not only lapped cars but also when should a SC come out, ...) rather than adding gloves, helmets, suits and stuff like that. Maybe many people are interested by this but many other people are also interested by a realistic game as well.

3 pointsWith developers guys. It is only a visual issue, so the mechanics are not affected. We'll get this added for a upcoming patch

3 pointsYeah this is a joke now. Anyone who is saying ABS isn't too good after this one should change their minds. @BarryBL Please note this topic. It's not my team issue like most of bug reports but it's fundamental game issue.

2 pointsMornin' everyone, another Track Guide this week 🙂

2 points@BarryBL can you have the devs take a look at this. If confirmed it might be an easy fix.

2 points@Hoo Can we please get an update. I imagine you guys are working really hard to fix this, which is appreciated. This thread was raised 3 days ago and nearly 500 people have advised of missing PitCoins. Surely this has given you a good baseline for pinpointing the cause of the problem, How much closer are you to getting it resolved? So many of us have been patiently waiting for a fix for 11 days now. Hopefully there will be some compensation for those effected.

2 pointsCan we get the Honda, Ferrari, Merc and Renault logo's on the My Team Car engine cover? Thx!

2 pointsIn Formula 1 cars don't have ABS, TC or dynamic RL, so those shouldn't be even available in the game in the first place. However they are there for people to get into the game easier. So obviously these assists shouldn't be used anywhere where is some kind of leaderboard or competitive situation unless they are worse than driving without assists. This includes: Online, Esport Events, Weekly Events and TT. On the last game ABS & TC were pretty well balanced as ABS had longer braking distances compared to ABS off and with TC on you didn't get full power at the acceleration phase. Racing line in the other hand has been superior assist in last games and probably still is as the best competitive people were able to use the changing color of the line as throttle and braking markers. However ABS now gives you outright pace which doesn't even require any skill as RL does. Even though I have been against racing line for couple of years now, it looks like ABS is bigger issue currently. So in other words, ABS needs to be nerfed or removed completely from everywhere where people are able to drive against each other.

2 pointsI think ABS off is much easier to handle in F1 2020 compared to last years game and I actually don't care anymore, if someone with ABS on is faster. I think the leagues have to deal with the problem themselves. Lillhelm and myself race in the same league as we have this discussion for years now. You either divided the series in "Non"-Assist and Assist leagues then you might lose some drivers or you leave it as it is. For now, we decided to leave it as it is because we think it's still a hobby and everyone should be able to race how the want to.

2 pointsI would say that instead of nerfing the ABS there should be a setting for the host to forbid using ABS assist for multiplayer. If you mix people using manual modes with people using assists it automatically leads to imbalances. So either everyone plays with ABS or no one. But don't mix. Same rule as for every game that have certain assist features to make a game more accessible. Also to say "it can't be faster" is wrong. ABS like most assists totally can be faster. You can't lock up because the system detects and counters it... hence you can push harder than you could normally. There are reasons for why it is forbidden in real life F1. Because most electronic/computer assisted stuff has reaction times beyond that of human beings. Just like automatic transmissions perform better than manual ones for the same reason even if hardcore manual users have been arguing for decades that manual is better. They are wrong.

1 pointSome suggestions for my career. 1. Team Name on car. 2. Engine brand on car. 3. Option to change nose, this one is so ugly. (Like the red bull or mercedes nose). 4. Big logo's. 5. Own sticker/brand placement on suit and helmet. None the less, very happy with the game! Keep on the good work.

1 point@BarryBL Please can we get one more weekly Grand Prix? I’ve been waiting for weeks and it’s all I need for a platinum.

1 pointHave your say in future F1 games! We've created an unofficial F1 game global community survey to show Codemasters how the community want future games developed. Our goal is for Codemasters to see the real feedback from players and F1 fans, in order for them to be able to further develop and change their upcoming F1 games. All responses will be collated and delivered to Codemasters, so the more of the community that participate the stronger the feedback becomes. https://forms.gle/1X6XVECvRosdhdWB8

1 pointThat's great that you are finding it fast to unlock stuff but it's not really the point. Why do you think they even give you the option to just pay to upgrade? Because they want you to do it. They hope people just pay to get the particular thing they want and many do. This is a quote from another forum member in another thread: "The customisation options are very limited. I just paid to get the one wanted." It works. People are paying extra for advertised content, having already paid the full price for the game. I think its realy shoddy practice by Codemasters.

1 pointThanks, i done that. Steam Players Mentioned that bevore and i can say too that shut down Marketing works. One Tip Shut down it AFTER your Weekly Team Activitys are done and BEVORE you start the new Weekend with the Race or bevore a Invite Event. So you still get the Bonus for the Team Activitiy Upgrade and Prevent the -% Bug.

1 pointOr another thought - let the AI adapt during practice sessions. Let's say, you're doing couple of laps in P1 and there would be some AI options like how competitive you would like to be (e.g. racing among top 3 teams or just competing with Williams etc.). Then the game adjusts AI difficulty setting according to your choice and lap time (easy = Mercedes times are like yours, hard = your times are only good to beat Williams). And this setting shall be valid through complete weekend - as for now, I even have to adjust AI to 5-10 points more for the race, otherwise I'm still 2-2,5s/lap faster even if I had a very tough time in qualifying sessions.

1 pointI did a 50% race on 105 difficulty on the pad as Russell today at Melbourne in preparation for My team. I spent the first half of the race behind Latifi because of this. Not sure if my wing settings were to high, because I was running 6 on the front and 9 on the rear. I had to get extremely close, like 0.4 to get any chance of closing him down on the straights. I only got past Latifi when he pitted first, and I stayed out for another lap. Damn, is the dirty air powerful and it makes exit speed even more important now. Whenever I was behind Latifi, it was a lot easier to slide, and the understeer was insane. We need to get away from the turbulent air by taking a slightly different line to the car in front... Now, all those f1 noobs who keep hating on drivers know how does it feel to be stuck behind someone. I mean, after I got past Latifi, I finished 15 seconds in front of him and 10 seconds away from the next car.

1 pointPlease try to be a little more constructive in your comments. We can't fix it if we don't know what exactly is happening and when.

1 point"By design" meaning "too small an issue to bother with" here. If it is actually by design, i.e. someone sat down and went "this should work like this instead of the other way" it has to be the dumbest design I've seen in a while.

1 pointAs long as all those items are available to unlock by playing I don't see it as being behind paywall. To use car example from other members: you buy a car for which you saw in official video that it has 5 point seatbelt. But when you buy it you see it has regular seatbelt and manufacturer tells you "Drive through 3 traffic lights without breaking any law and you will get 5 point seatbelt". What they did here, for me is not more than what Forza Horizon has with their rewards. Where you can "buy" special cars with in game special currency which can be easily obtained by driving in game. F1 2020 and locked liveries/helmets are to me like achievements, small win like "winning 5 laps race" gives me a sense of achievement and on top of that gives real prize that I can use in game. So it gives a purpose to getting that win, not just to drive 5 laps and look at the same screen and on to next one.

1 pointHi @BarryBL, I understand there's no competitive advantage in there, but that's not the issue or point. All I wanted to do, was start my own singleplayer myteam and customise it to my preferance from the get-go and not have to grind to unlock a few cosmetics. The myteam thing was advertised as 'create your own team' meaning create a team in your own image, your own style, but that has seriously been hampered by the fact that there's next to no liveries, helmet designs etc at the start. The fact that there were plenty of helmet designs for singleplayer in previous games, shows that content has been deliberately held back to try and make more money out of those who want the items now, instead of grinding through. And that's my main issue, with-holding content in a fully priced game to try and monetize it. If there was a full selection of designs from the start (as there has been in previous games) and you then decided to add a few more extra designs on top of that in the future and have people either pay or grind for them, then that wouldn't be as bad. (Because it's something extra added to the game)

1 pointUsing ABS may be easier, but using it will definitely not make you faster. When you have ABS turned on you can't brake as late as without using ABS. The less assists you use, the faster you can go, that is why top times are occupied by drivers that don't use any assists.
