10 pointsWe just override wtv setting the ers is using at that moment and deploy 160 bhp from the hybrid system. it is not doing 50bhp for example plus 160.. is doing 50bhp + 110. Enough talking or speculating about this, is just using the full power, that is how it works in the game. The only difference is, the ERS is much more calibrated over a lap and race in real life, but they are full of engineers and weeks of time in simulator per race to do that, I am one person, and do a general balancing, meaning that, of course, you will have much more overtake left per lap and per race, This is where the difference still is at with real life mostly, but the system follows the real rules, 160bhp max, 4 mj per lap max deploy, 2 mj per lap max harvesting from the mgu-k, unlimited mgu-h harvesting. No trickery, no crazy things going on.

6 pointsI only say this as It'll make the game so more interesting. For as long as I can remember, the AI can only get random failures. I understand why (because they NEVER crash). I've never had a puncture either (not since f1 2012!!) so really it seems the game only allows you to crash in order to get a retirement. Or, retire from the pause menu. To make my career more realistic I deliberately have components blow so that I have a mechanical failure - some will say that's dumb, but I rarely crash, so want to bring some realism to the game. Codemasters, I'm not sure how hard this would be to programme into the game, but I really do think it'd bring the game to another, more, realistic level.

4 pointsIn my opinion, the slipstream is exactly what it is in real life. Take last F1 Race as an example. Bottas was 1,5 sec faster than Verstappen and could easily close the gap up to 1 sec behind. Than it stopped. Even with the better car, DRS and slipstream he couldn't overtake. That's what i said two years ago. Overtaking is mostly hard work in real F1. Last year many people complained about the lack of realism. Now it's more realistic and the people complaining about it should be easier to overtake. I don't really get it. For me it's absolutely right this year.

4 pointsI think it's kind of the aim. you start with a terrible car, and improve it. The game is a car building gamemode, so where is the point in giving you a flying car, first season.

3 points1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. "Connecting to online servers" is displayed in the middle of the screen blocking the view of the game for intervals of 5seconds, which occurs every 3seconds. You're still able to drive but not clear as "the connecting to online servers" message is shown. I know many people experiencing this problem, everyone I've spoken too has had this problem, not even joking, it's ridiculous. 2. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.03 3. Game-mode? Multiplayer 4. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. 50+ multiplayer races. This occurs every single lap at least 10 times. So 500 times. 5. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Reset console, reset internet, leave and re-join, close and open F1 2020 application. 6. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Gamepad 7. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

3 pointsOf all the years i have been playing the F1 games on codemasters the one thing i have learnt for my own driving style is not to follow TT set ups or what you see certain you tubers do with their race set ups and copy it. I found none of them suited my driving style and i was far better off learning how to build a set up around my own style. I'm not of course suggesting my own set up is faster than an esports drivers set up, it's just i found there is more time to found in a set up you feel confident driving than a set up someone else feels confident driving.

3 pointsI've always played 100% distance and mainly offline. TT can be good at times with its setuos. Some of them give you so much pace that you are ok with having to do one stop more. At the end of the day 100% distance allows you to do 2-3 stops and be competitive. Different strategies will balance out. But...in my opinion tyre wear is crucial. This is the way to beat the AI. Tyre wear and confidence. Since early 2019 I'm going extreme with tyre wear friendly setups. They can cost you a bit in qualyfing and early in stints but remember that if you are 0.3 slower on fresh tyres and then 0.5/0.7 faster at the end of stints you're doing great and you have more flexibility in terms of strategy. You can compensate tyre wear with pace and compensate pace with tyre wear. People tend to forget the second scenario. As said if at the beginning of the race you're slower by 0.3 and then at the end of the first stint you're faster you can pit later and have fresher tyres for the rest of the race. In that moment you'll have both (adjusted) pace and tyre wear in your corners. There are areas of the setup you'll have to touch from time trial: suspensions, suspensions geometry and tyre pressures. Geometry to reduce mainly wear and pressures to avoid overheating. Tyre pressures are the true key. As said in theory you could eat tyres for breakfast but If you overheat, it's over. The last thing you want is being forced to harder compounds by default. Expecially because harder compounds in many cases aren't a choice. If you enter Q3 with a midfield team, for example, you do it with soft tyres so you don't have choice. The biggest difference between 50% races and 100% races is full fuel load. This is why pressures play a big role. Full fuel load is something that usually users who don't play the full distance tend to forget. As said the last thing you want to experience is being on soft tyres and overheat them in lap 3 or 4 while being passed by cars left and right. Lower pressures, less aggressive suspensions, less toe and camber (don't be afraid to remove toe and camber, even if the car feels sluggish it'll pay off long term), more downforce. In free practice test your car with half fuel load and medium compound. This where the car should be comfortable to drive (this is how you test feeling). Then you can test qualifying speed. Don't forget to test soft+full fuel load. This is crucial for the race and the strategy. I've lost count of all the races I've started in the past with setups that felt good with half tank and became a nightmare with full tank and softs... Preset 4 gives you a good starting point for 100% races (in terms of geometry and pressures). It has camber one click from the lowest and minimum rear toe and just a touch of front toe. Pressures three clicks at the rear and two at the front. With close wings and suspensions you won't overheat anywhere (literally). I've used it as the starting point of my base setup. I've mentioned it to give you an idea of what won't overheat for sure (even in Spain/Hungary/Zandvoort with soft and full tank). With reduced camber, reduce toe and tyre pressures at 2/3 clicks you won't overheat. So pay attention to which TT setup to start with. If it has aggressive/extreme suspensions, a lot of camber/toe/high pressures it won't be always bad but it should alarm you...

2 points1. I took time on loading times on my latest session in My Team. It looks like the longest waiting times are when you are trying to enter to the workstation. Waiting times seem to be long also when entering to the race. Also I just opened the game and headed straight to the my team so game session was completely new. Here are the results: -Main menu -> workstation 40s -Workstation -> practice 1 15s -Practice 1 -> workstation 32s -Workstation -> Practice 2 13s -Practice 2 -> Workstation 37s -Workstation skipping Practice 3 and going to resource points gained screen 15s -Resource points gained screen -> Workstation 42s -Workstation -> Qualifying 18s -Qualifying -> Workstation 32s -Workstation -> Race intro 36s -Race intro -> to the cockpit on the grid 30s -Back to HQ after gaining resource points 20s -HQ -> Workstation 62s Report Code from settings: TSDC-EGGB-STMH-HBEG 2. PS4 Base 3. 1.03 (1.04 update) 4. At least My team 5. Probably 6 times or so. 6. None 7. Fanatec CSL Elite 8. -

2 pointsI haven't seen any topics about it but loading times are awful. I'm on PS4 Pro with version 1.04 And there are so many loading screens and they take forever and some still are a black screen s with no indication of what is happening. When there is no loading indicator you think the game stopped working. Please reduce the loading times.

2 pointsDirty air is already reduced what they have in real life. This was cleared by @David Greco CM. The slipstream is fine too, perfect example was yesterday's race.

2 pointsI get that... I wasn't making the comment to slight anyone who is playing them. I was simply asking the question, what is the point with them in F12020? Jeez... some of you guys around here need to chill out a bit, because afterall... this is only a game. Guess I never thought of it that way. It's a global competition, so yeah, now I get the point of them. I just never thought of it that way, because in F12019 I just ran them to get the points to buy other liveries etc. etc. With that being gone this year, it's just left me wondering why it's such a big deal. I get it now though and can see why the cheaters are bothersome. That was really the whole point of my original reply; makes sense to me now why it annoys you. Sadly though, I feel like this is an issue in almost every online game, which is why i typically avoid online play unless its with people I know. Hopefully they can find a way to sort out this issue.

2 pointsChildren watching real GPs see all the advertising. Is it really so different for it to be in the game?

2 pointsI completed first season. I did everything on 105 and based on that I think (at least for me) these AI adjustments would balance things out: +1 difficulty is ~0.2 s above 100 AI. Below 100 it's ~0.1 s, so double the numbers if below 100 AI. For qualy in general a -2 or -3 seems in order. Below 100 AI I'd say about -5. Australia: 0 Bahrain: -2 Hanoi: 0 China: +1 Zandvoort: +2 Spain: +2 Monaco: +5 Baku: 0 Canada: +5 France: +2 Austria: +4 GB: -5 Hungary: +3 Spa: 0 Monza: +3 Singapore: +10 Russia: +2 Japan: -5 USA: 0 Mexico: +5 Brazil: -3 Abu Dhabi: +3 In Spain the AI is bugged. It barely set times in FP sessions and not all AI had qualifying times. So ultimately hard to judge.

2 pointsGood to see others having the same issue. Driving through 130R with my eyes closes is not the experience I was going for when purchasing this game. Firstly, why does this need to take up the screen, it will be in the top left then suddenly replicate 14 schooners and a drive home. Secondly, wasnt there a beta for this game. If so what was the purpose Cannot wait to participate in league racing with this issue 9.5/10 well polished DUI simulator
