Hi all! I have a suggestion, maybe already written: individually choice the colors of the sponsors. This would be great for the liveries, because most of them have the same sponsor slot based on two different part of the livery, and in the majority of the cases these part have different colors, so it's difficult to choice a color. I'll take advantage of this topic for begging for an introduction to RGB/HTML codes to decide a color instead of sliders: this needs to be a must, especially for people who can't see 100% of them. Thank you

hi! there were a few differences last year btw the merc and online car, caused by our tool. I have personally checked everything this year to make sure this was not the case anymore, and I am sure the equal handling is 100% the Mercedes.

@BarryBL hey mate, I know that you are working on a fix but it can’t be that hard to just make it that it only pops up on the top left. There is no point of it covering the whole screen.

Really? Did you think Portugal was going to be in the game? Was that mentioned on the pages of major platforms? I really want to see how you could have been being misled into thinking Portugal would be in the game? I even noticed only today that Portugal is on the calendar. Did you have a look at the official calendar? Have you noticed that it is still under construction. We haven't made it to Portugal yet. It still can get canceled and than we have to demand a refund because Portugal did make it to the game

Hi guys, I'm going to close this thread as it has drifted off-topic slightly but add a statement from myself, mostly as a CM member of staff, but also as a fan of F1 (which is what I am first) Of course, taking the 2020 cars for a scream around Imola (should that actually get confirmed) would be awesome. I can understand the desire of fans to want new (well old for fans my age - 6 year old Barry on Grand Prix 3 would love a Imola re-introduction) tracks in the game, and they would clearly add value to our title. However, as developer and publisher of F1® 2020, the official videogame of FIA Formula One World Championship™, Codemasters has accurately recreated the original 2020 season, which was scheduled to start on 15 March. Due to time needed to re-create the circuits in-game, it is not possible to include any of the new circuits added to the revised 2020 season. I totally understand the desire to want to see a revised calendar with new tracks in 2020, but, unfortunately due to a plethora of reasons, it's simply unfeasible to achieve.

This topic now spreads over 5 pages and all we got so far is this: People want tracks added, of which some or not even confirmed. Codemasters says it can't be done and gives multiple reasons to why this is the case. Other people, who invested time in reading earlier statements and use their brains to figure out why Codemasters can't add more tracks are starting to explain this to the people who started this topic. (Side note: we already had multiple topics like this and everytime some of us have taken the time to explain why things are the way they are) Now, for some reason the OP and a few others start a discussion about semantics. Yes, a lot of things are technically possible, but we are not talking about theory, we are talking about realistic possibilities. If I say that I can't afford a $300.000 race car, your reply would be: well, if you sell your house, take all the money from your shared bank account (probably leading to a divorce with your husband/wife) than it would be possible. Well, yes, you are correct. If I would do all those things, it would be possible. But would you seriously expect me to do it? Is this even something that would cross your mind? No, because when I say that it is not possible for me to buy that car, I mean that it is not possible for me to buy that car without having to sacrifice everything I hold dear. Codemasters is a developer, and has to deal with a lot of stakeholders. Stakeholders that they can not **** off, or the game as we know it would not even exist. Codemasters need money, to pay for the staff, the office and everything they use. They need to save some money to be able to keep their head up when things go south. You can't ask them to throw everything out the window to make your wishes come true. Now, you may say that I am a Codemasters fanboy or apologist and I frankly do not even care. You have proven time and time again that you think you know more about the resources CM has available than anyone else. You acuse Lee Mather of lying and did not once showed any proof to back this up. This thread can grow to be hundreds of pages long, because all we do is talking in circles. Such a shame really, cause we could have spend this time talking about new features that are actually possible to add.

Hi everyone, We've had reports that some users are still missing Pitcoins. Please only add your gametag/username and platform here so we can look at our internal logs and investigate the issue. Please note: Try and ONLY add the requested information. This will really help our investigation as we will be able to see the other details we need from your gamertag search. Many thanks, Barry

Hi guys, I am new here to this forum. And I don't know, if some people here already shared the improvements I would like to have on Codemasters F1 2020 game, especially on my new favorite mode My Team. Using the search functionality doesn't even help me 😄 Also tweeting every week and name calling Codemasters and the Formula1game Twitter Accounts wasn't working. Therefore, I decided to share my ideas here 😄😊 Well, long introduction. My wishes for the F1 2020 My Team Mode Brand logo of power unit supplier on the car and driver suit (as it is in real-life) Pirelli brand logo on the car and driver suit (as it is in real-life) Perfect for both would be the option where to put these logos in the menue of the livery I know it is harder to integrate, but changing the style of the front wing or the nose. It would be enough for me when I have the possibility to choose between three or four standard designs. (Maybe some of them inspired by mercedes, renault or Red bull) Also some style changes to the barge boards would be nice as well (same suggestion here with the way how it could work for the front wing/nose) More customization for the logo, maybe a logo editor. In other games it is possible as well (for example creating an own emblem in COD More drivers as options, for example a Free agent Niko Hülkenberg! Think most of the community would be happy about something like this And maybe more options in the livery design in general, but this would be a wish for the F1 2021 game Feel free to add more! I hope some of them will find their way to the game this year or maybe next year for sure! 😄

hi windering if there will be any patch for the game that introduces penalties for ai drivers causing a collision. Currently racing hanoi circuit in wet and every time i go to brake the ai run into me or lunge up the inside and collide with me. They dont get any warnings or penalties only i do. Its rather frustrating as this happens on every circuit. The ai make a move as im turning and a collision is unavoidable but yet the players are getting warnings. Any chance this can be fixed please

Is so annoying to see f1 2019 bugs back again, they should have been attended to long before release as codemasters knee all about them, ranked used to be favourite for me but 2019 and now 2020 a avoid like COVID 19 areas lol along with the rampant cheating goes on in ranked ( been rammed of track all the time and game penalising you for been forced of track or causing the accident others did).

With today's news that the Nurgburgring, Portimao, and Imola are set to be added to the 2020 F1 calendar, the total number of tracks in the 2020 Formula 1 championship that are currently not represented in the F1 2020 game rises to four (4). In order for the game to adequately represent the 2020 F1 season, developing and adding these tracks should be a top priority. Questions about the addition of new tracks to the game have been met with comments about the extensive time and manpower needed to make this a reality. This should not be an excuse. Codemasters hold the exclusive rights to the F1 franchise. To show that they are deserving of that honor, they need to dedicate the time, money, and manpower to get these tracks into the game. Edit 2: I realize that making definitive statements about the feasibility of adding new tracks isn't reasonable (or the un-feasibility, as some of you seem to think you have so much inside knowledge about). Feasibility isn't really the most important thing in this discussion and I should not have made that a part of the original post. The most important thing is letting it be known that having more tracks in the game is something I value a lot. Codemaster's response to this should not be to dismiss the idea and say that it simply cannot be done (and why some of you are so quick to furiously defend them on this, I do not understand. It's like a cult in here). The first thing they should be saying is, "We'll see what we can do". Maybe new circuits will not make it into F1 2020, but they should at least be exploring the possibility, scoping out the requirements. There is still the possibility that tracks outside the normal calendar (whether new or classic) could make it into future games. That will only happen if Codemasters see that there is sufficient desire for it. Instead of clamoring to say how impossible or unreasonable it is to have more tacks, why not say, yes, we would like more tracks. Full stop. Let them worry about the logistics.

After re-reading the OP I just realised that in fact he wants not three but four tracks, which are most certainly a one-off. Hand-waving the difficulty to get the licensing, due to possible conflicts with other parties which own the rights on those circuits, that alone could take months, if ever. Then the astonishing amount of work to gather the data to actually make the circuits, in a world struck by the worst pandemic since 1918. The counter-argument being "iT's nOT aN eXCusE!!!" Don't know if I should laugh or cry.

    1. Audio cuts in and out when close to other cars and other sounds. Seems to be fine offline in my team but does occasionally happen. 2. 1.05 3. All 4. 4/4. Just happens in every session I try when racing close to other cars. Mainly multiplayer. 5. Tried reset of everything and still does it. 6. I was asked by the Formula 1 game Twitter account to make a big thread about all of these bugs. They seemed fine with it, so am I. I also know most of them have been reported but again, they asked for it.

I don't mean to sound rude but if you can't be bothered to check the other threads commenting on the same issues and thus create yet another duplicate rather than add your concerns to the appropriate existing thread or even the proper technical forum, why would you expect codemasters to go to the effort to read your views? I don't get why people feel the need to open a new thread complaining about the same thing. Do people think it carries more weight their own view?

Regular is trash, it let's you cut and extend a lot. Strict is terrible because it actually is TOO strict (like it should be in real life but that's not how it is!). Makes racing less fun, you spend more time placing the car inside the track than actually trying to drive the car.

I agree they probably shouldn’t be in this game, at least not for free. I’d personally pay for added DLC. But at the very least the correct 2020 season should be included in the 2021 game (just like with 2014/2015).

No, quite the opposite in fact. When i’m at the right level to be where i should be in qualy and race, i find the practice programmes too easy!

Thanks for the reply. That is a bit of a shame - I feel quite hampered by the lack of control. Just out of interest - why is there a function to have ERS + and - assigned to the controls? Is there any situations where this is actually useable? I find that the overtake button uses a lot of ERS energy - as it should - however it takes an age to build back up in 1 (Medium) whereas in the last game it could be lowered to 1 (Low) to charge at a much quicker rate. I appreciate F1 drivers had input and the game is in the most part much better but we are not F1 drivers and it would be nice to have this control as we don't have engineers mapping ERS to our driving style etc.

Now you get out of here! What is this, a reasonable and test-to-see-it-through approach to things instead of basing your opinions on hearsay and unfounded views of how things work?! What feeds the MGU-H is not the heat of the PU, but the movement created by the exhaust gases passing through the turbocharger. Think of a literal wind turbine. So in truth, what feeds the MGU-H is the workload of the engine. The speed at which the turbocharger turbine spins is dependent on the rate at which the exhaust gases escapes the ICE. Thusly when you’re on lower ICE work rates, as in completely or partially lifting off the throttle, the turbo’s work rate will also be reduced. Once you get back to full throttle again, there will be a lag, a delay between the wide-open throttle, the increase in gases being exhausted and the turbine picking up speed again (turbo lag). There comes in the MGU-H, as it powers up the turbocharger to propel more air into the ICE in sync with your getting back to throttle, eliminating the lag. So picture yourself [1] being flat out on a straight, [2] lifting off completely & braking, [3] turning and [4] getting back on the throttle. On [1] your MGU-H is being charged by the passing of the exhaust gases through the turbocharger. On [2] your ICE workload drops significantly and the MGU-K starts feeding on the braking. On [3] nothing happens except for your praying for the gods and the cosmos to hit that apex cleanly. On [4] is where the magic happens. As soon as you apply throttle again, the MGU-K start powering up the ICE. But the ICE needs more air to deliver max power to the crankshaft, i.e. it needs the turbocharger to work its magic. Normally the turbocharger would pick up their workload in tandem with the exhaust gases from the ICE increasing, but this lag is eliminated as the MGU-H was fired instantly with your throttle and started powering up the turbo to propel more air into the ICE. You go from zero to maximum power output virtually in an instant, no turbolag! That’s witchery. Edit: just to be a tiny bit more accurate, what feeds the MGU-H is the heat from the exhaust gases passing through the turbocharger. The temperature of said gases are the same whether your engine is cool or hot, as they're the product of the internal combustion done inside the engine. The more work being done by the ICE though, more (volume) exhaust gases go through the turbocharger, so more energy is generated by the MGU-H.

Here's a tip from my YouTube which helps with that. Copied the script below if you want it in text: Once you have set your baseline, keep an eye on your teammate's pace after every Grand Prix. If you're over a second faster than them, push it up by 10 before the next race. I found that my test put me at 70 initially, but since I'm quicker around Melbourne I was handily beating my teammate, going to 80 before Bahrain sorted that out nicely. I've been doing this since F1 2018, works great 🙂
