Fully agree. I absolutely love the current crop of cars, but having the old cars in there would make for a complete game.

What worked for me in DiRT Rally 2.0 was simply daring myself to take each corner a little later on the brakes, earlier on the throttle etc. I'd crash a lot but over time I'd step back from this aggression on each corner and find the spot where I'm just within the limits while still pushing as hard as I can go. You could probably do similar in F1. I have one 🙂

Sure! I'll give it a shot and let you know!

Okay, I'll give it a shot and come back to you Stevie! Thanks a lot for the help, I know its a minor error but can be quite annoying. Also, really appreciate you took the time, I can see you really know for F1 2020 🙂 Motherboard is MSI Z370 PC Pro, just for the record. Cheers and stay healthy mate!

Not only the handling but also proper car sounds, although it improved a bit from one game to another in the WRC series, nothing comes close to the Dirt Rally games when it comes to car sounds.

Should be saved to the cloud on Xbox?

What's so exciting about it for me, is that it will be the first time ever that a WRC game has decent handling. And if it's only an improvement from DR2.0, then it's going to be amazing. All the WRC pizzazz, but with actually realistic and also playable handling. I can't think of a single WRC game that's ever had that.

You have to do the renotiation of contract for your team mate and offer him the highest value.. if you do it he will be able to put their own perks.. that way he will grow up much more faster than normal.. another way you have to improve the response of 2nd driver for Racing and in pace stats you have the training programs between the race weekends.. you can put training for the 2nd driver example training pace or training awareness etc etc

May be the OP meant the AI driver's perks? If that's the case, the only way to speed it up is to pay them larger sum of money during every contract renewal. Though, even with that they don't level up their perks every time so you've to be patient. Also, the perk(s) they choose is random as well, but you can make a copy of your own save file before the renewal, and use the safe & load method until you get what you desired. In my case, I have Nobuharu as teammate for 4 seasons now, and he has two lvl 1 perks and two lvl 2 perks. I always use the low risk option when renewing his contract.

Hi @killergarden1, Your current F1 2020 version (providing it doesnt need the disc to play) will run fine on the Xbox Series S. I can confirm that, as I get mine next week too. The game will benefit from the quicker loading times with the SSD, however, this is no upscaling to the next gen console.

Ya know, I know some will complain there are about 30 other threads that pose this same question & the OP could have gotten their answer there. However; at this point in the process it's not even worth pointing it out. Not because of the post by the OP, but because this constant requesting of things like this is well deserved. If we were asking about new tracks coming to this year's game I'd be singing a different tune about the mutiple posts about that topic. However, this is a situation that Codemasters deserves at this point IMO. I don't care if we see a new post every day about it maybe we'll get some answers finally. Sure, recently they said something about still being committed to the 2020 F2 cars coming to the game, but that's it. Last year we got the F2 update in September. Also far too late IMO. Here we are in November now, the official season drawing to a close and still nothing of significance in the way of an update on the F2 2020 content. Lack of communication. We are 4 months into the life cycle of the game, 4 weeks from the end of the official season, and 4 months away from the 2021 season (hopefully) starting and what, 8 months from what will likely be F1 2021 next July? It's a good thing they include this DLC package for free, because if not with a November release who would actually buy it? Yeah the hardcore players will, but I'm sure many have moved on from playing the game regularly already. Not only does the delay of this update ruin the idea of playing it as a season or single race, but lets think about this... The main point to having the F2 content is for the lead in to career mode & for the drivers pool in My Team mode. At this rate we're almost 5 months into the life cycle of the game before we're going to see this update; what's the point? Who's going to really be willing to restart all their modes to use this content at that point? Really.. scrap the F2 2020 content at this point IMO. Release F1 2021 at the start of the actual season with the F1 & F2 cars and drivers announced for the season as part of the original game and lets go from there. I dont understand why they launch it with last year's F2 cars anyways. The real season is already 4 months old by the time the game launches anyways. Just give us the full 2021 roster of F1 and F2 when the game releases. Oh, and how about a REAL update to the ETA on F2 2020? I love this series and I think Codie's does an otherwise fantastic job with this game; but this right here doesn't sit well with me. I know, I know... Covid this, short staff, covid, licensing, etc, etc. You can still communicate with us though. Sorry, but this is a frustrating issue IMO.

What I don't understand is why some people ask for fictional stages in DR3.0. The best thing about the DR2.0 stages is that they are based on real roads, they look way more authentic, while in WRC8 some stages don't get the correct "feel" of the real location. In my opinion what makes the WRC8 stages "better" is the more realistic art style and more detailed environment (more bushes, shrubs, small rocks, taller grass, denser vegetation, roads with slight variations in gravel color, sometimes the gravel is smoother, sometimes more rocky...), not the fact that they are fictional. And you know what? I don't mind if Codies bring back the same stages in the future alongside with the new ones, as long as they are highly updated this time.
