3 pointsDissapointing, they could have atleast sent out a tweet saying it was going to be next week but oh well..

2 pointsI think something like this has been already talked about in this forum but I can't find the topic, so I'm gonna create one. Is there any way to change the race length to like 35% (for people who thinks 25% is too low and 50% is too much) or 75% (for people who thinks 50% is too low and 100% is too much). Maybe in the game files but I can't seem to find anyone who has discovered it yet. I know that changing the game files for the race length is something pretty complex because you would need to change the way the tyres would degradate and possible the way the AI would behave for strategies. Asking this because I play with 50% race and sometimes the AI strategies ****** me off. Just one example: Singapore everyone outside the top 10 and the ones who qualified on the mediums in Q2 start medium and goes to hard, the ones in the top 10 that have softs goes for a two-stopper. The thing is, its not a bad strat but singapore it's a pretty hard track to overtake and they make a massive DRS train and than no one overtakes. Won the race in a ferrari and grosjean finished 3rd. Tell me what you think, just "brainstorming" :)

2 pointsHi CM, it would be nice IMHO to add filters to the online ranking (for each track) and get the own filtered position as well, not only about the 3 AIDS but also about control method, pad or wheel (or keyboard?). Since it's very different the behaviour of the car due to the automatic correction of understeering with pad (if I correctly understand), the mixed comparison it's quite useless... While it would be a lot more interesting to know the ranking having the same configuration (aids + control), e.g.: no aids + wheel ranking only. Thank you for reading Kind regards, Nuv

2 pointsHi @Nuvolarix, Great idea, and something we have already discussed internally. However, the issue would be that we'd have more lobbies with very specific requirements, and less full lobbies, where the racing happens. Something we have noted internally, and are working towards improvements where possible, but I don't think this is feasible right now.

1 pointA detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Not the most important feature of the game but sometimes the engineer makes so silly comments, just a couple from the today's race: 1) last lap of the planned stint, rather than ask me to "give it all", he came up with something like "the tires are losing grip, do not stress them too much" 2) last 5-6 laps of the race, when I was already lapped by half a lap yet (and I had -0,50/-0.60 of fuel) he started to tell me to save fuel or I wouldn't complete the race! Obviously I continued to push and I completed the race close to -1,00 of fuel... Platform PS4 What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.12 Game-mode? Driver Career We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? I would collect silly comments in this topic How do you make the problem happen? What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Logitech G29 Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears None Thank you for reading, Greetings, Nuv

1 pointI have some ideas of real dashboards for each car and I wanted to know which more is realistic. I remade them using SIM Dashboard and the results were very good. Please note that the Ferrari dashboards are not remade by me, and I didn't even made them for SIM Dashboard. The Ferrari dashboards were remade by Esportsim. Also remember that I'm yet to remake Mclaren, Haas and Williams' dashboards. But by the way, how does it look like at the moment?

1 pointI'm having same issue on PS4! I got to end of season 2 and when I got to Nov 28th there was only a link to Drivers Market(No link to renew teammate) & there was no way to approach any driver! I ended up advancing hoping second round of contract talks would work but I too am stuck with the Infinite Stopwatch while trying to advance from Dec 1st!

1 pointWhile your playing online with the custom car, classic, or official team I've noticed the lack of number fonts for player's to choose from in the customization menu. Is such a thing possible? If not for this game perhaps something for 2021? @BarryBL

1 pointHi Chaynay, Regardless of system, two wheels would not work at this time with F1 2020.
-
1 pointThanks for the reply. I will try to get this done this week and see how I go. Regards, Doug

1 pointHi @delta001777, to help us resolve your issue please can you attach a DXDiag as well as the crash dump instead of the ego dumper logs. Thanks.
-
1 pointHi, please see the recommended post on this thread: This should help you to resolve your issue. Thanks.

1 pointHere you go @Keko55, just unzip the file on the main DiRT Rally 2.0 folder. Maybe I'll need to make the logo smaller, but I prefer that you try it first, and then tell me wheter you like it or not cars.rar

1 pointAm a big fan of PGA 2K21 (golf game) and it has a course designer feature which has enabled thousands of courses to be uploaded/played by the community. I think a track designer would work similarly well in F1 2021 in fact could be an incredible addition to the game. Thousands of different tracks to drive on? Yes please!

1 pointNot really sorry, you may want to search with the [PS4] tag, you might find something but I dont know any league that does 100% Good luck in your search.

1 pointOur Dutch Grand Prix is now over, we will be back in 2 weeks! 😉 Seats are still available, altough not as many, only a few of them left!
-
1 pointYeah, I feel it. I really gave it my best, stuck with it. You sit long enough waiting to join a lobby, then join. Then get smashed off the track. Sit and wait until the next race, only to get smashed off the track in the next race. Sit again. And so on. Impossible to find a lobby where you aren't getting smashed off the track. Such a pity as I'm sure the majority of gamers are genuinely trying to be fair.

1 pointDamage mechanics: one of the things I loved the most about codemasters was the damage mechanics. When I played grid 2019 and Dirt rally 2.0, I felt that the damage mechanics have been reduced to a very large extent. If you look at this video I recorded from grid autosport android, you can see how the car rolls over etc. This looks way more realistic and feels intense to what's been done currently. I hope you go back to the previous damage mechanics. Codemasters fan. 20-08-14-15-51-44.mp4

1 pointCockpit, halo disabled. With VR I would enable halo because I can naturally "look beyond" it but with 2d on monitor is just an unnecessary obstacle and I am in no danger of debris hitting my head.
-
1 pointT-Cam Offset, however I use a custom high angle, look-down approach, similar to the older F1 games. HUD off when I am recording B-Roll for my own YouTube, unless necessary to illustrate a point.

1 pointThe best way is: 1. They sould nail all aspects of DiRT Rally 3 (tarmac physics, career mode, more stages per location, etc.) and make a near perfect rally game; 2. Use DiRT Rally 3 as the basis for the first WRC game, keeping all the content and just adding the WRC stuff (cars, teams, missing events, etc.) and that is it. Another thing is the name, Codemasters need to distance themselves to the mediocre WRC games from Kyloton, so just making a WRC12, 13, 14... is not a good thing. In the past Evo Studios developed "WRC: Rally Evolved", maibe this time Codies could make a "WRC: DiRT" or "DiRT Rally WRC", imagine the appeal of this two strong brands together.

1 pointI guess I am late to seeing this news. We discussed a WRC license at length in the OLD Dirty Gossip thread a few years back. Granted it would give us new WRC cars, but it would also take away a lot that we love about DR [series] now. It has always seemed that a big part of WRC games intent was accessibility. This is fine for marketing, etc. However this goes backwards to what we where just told about the SPLIT of D5 and DR series, that DR would be the hardcore rally game and D# would take the fun/loose gameplay path, I was happy with that announcement. Also, as mentioned above by @UnderclassGDfan how much will be lost that we love about the current DR games. Again back to the OLD Dirty Gossip discussion, there are certain licensing benefits for the new stuff, but what about all the classic and historic cars and events that we have today? Granted you can only improve the same cars so many times until it gets old and stale, however there are many cars companies that are not in the current games that could be traded off for some of these older cars to freshen up the title. Toyota, Volvo, Saab, to name a few are lacking in all of these current games, lots of history to be explored with those cars. Toyota and CM, its time to bury the hatchet, move on, and do what it takes to come to an agreement again. If its not obvious, I like history, and the history of rally is rich with lots of huge moments that have yet to really been explored. Maybe we will get this in DR3 and that will be great. But it will be the last DR game that we have come to love. I will be rather old when 2023 rolls around, so I may be historic myself. PROVE me wrong CM, please.

1 pointSo the cars will just be even more powerful? Can't really believe that. I really fear a 2nd mess like 2014 with these horrible V6 Turbo Hybrid engines we still have in F1. They sound absolutely awful. Watched an old Formula E race yesterday because I was bored...they sound like my vacuum cleaner (Vacuum cleaner? That sounds strange, but google says it's right 😄 ). Really dark future for motorsport in my eyes. I know, we have to find a clean way for motorsport, but is there really no other way as electric only in the future? Anyway. My fears for that deal is now, we get an official licensed game like the F1 games. The games are not that bad, but far away from an hardcore sim like DR 2.0. Doesn't matter what the F1-PR-guys say. And also classic cars. I doubt we get all we have now and on top the licensed cars. They will most likely cuts from the current roster. I don't wanna give up any of them in favor of these (quite ugly) new hatchbacks. I personally don't need the WRC license, if that means cuts to the current game. As a bonus sure, but not with a compromise. Maybe there will be a DiRT Rally 3 before that. Waiting another 3 years would drive me mad.

0 pointsSo after the last hugely disappointing patch, a lot of people giving up on the game altogether, and since multiplayer is still a glitch minefield with all the things that can go wrong or mess it all up, (I mean half the stuff we're used to by now but it just goes to show how bad it all is.) I'm wondering: (1) Will we be seeing an actual patch for this game? (2) In what timeframe will that be? With actual, I mean a patch that will fix those issues with multiplayer and has people think after installing it "wow, the game is seriously less broken than it was before now!" @BarryBL (3) will the next patch, or an upcoming patch, actually contain the long list of fixes that are needed to make this game playable online? Or (4) Are you (guys) well happy with keeping us on a leash with patches that fix NOTHING. and slowly cruise to the next time we have to pay 70 euro's for a broken (issues even in very controlled e-sport environment) game? Thank you very much. (I've numbered the questions to make it easier to see if they've all been answered)
