Hi everyone, After a short break, we will be back with for Forum Championship on PC, starting again 20/11/2020 with a slightly revised format. Firstly, congratulations to @kisuke_fly for winning the drivers and to his team-mate @UP100 for fighting for the championship until the very end, both securing the constructors for Red Bull. This season, we will be running a total of 12 rounds, with 10 running on a normal season format, and 2 'joker' rounds with classic cars on classic tracks Round Schedule: USA, Brazil, Canada, JOKER, Mexico, France, Britain, Belgium, Italy, JOKER, Spain, Australia - I've based this roughly on the 1996 season, the first season watching F1 I can remember. The venues of the 2 'Joker' rounds will be decided by the Steam Chat for the Championship. Seconding this! It would be get some variation in this area to maximize player expression with their created teams. Even being able to pick from one of the other teams number fonts & being able to change the colour would have a big effect.

I had Dirt 5 since day one and first trried to play it on XBox One - I did not have any controller vibration there at first. Some time later miraculously vibration worked. Yesterday I received my XSX: same thing: Vibration only works half of the time: at first not, after some new starts of console and game it worked. Today without having restarted the console or game - again: no vibration. Very frustrating for an offroad game :( Would be glad to hear if anybody else has this issue and if Codemaster is aware of this (I also just sent a bug report)....

Something I'd like to see in F1 2021 is being able to place an icon or marker on the map of a circuit or when I driving round that I can see to indicate when I should brake rather than having the existing dynamic racing line and brake points which always takes me out of the realism . I can do the racing line no problems, but I can never remember the brake points and I think this would help me remember the brake points so I'd be able to turn off all the aids eventually rather than overly relying on the dynamic racing line.

Tell him to take out a subscription to 'Harry's'. 😊 I did follow your advice and removed Avast but that didn't change anything so I delved deeper into Google and found a thread relating to the exact same issue in an Elite Dangerous forum. There, the issue was solved by writing a new Network 'Outbound' rule in Defender, blocking dasHost. I tried this and it seems to have worked, having just completed 2 hours plus game time without any issues. Whether the rule creates issues elsewhere on my Network I'll just have to wait and see and, to be honest, I have recently remembered that at about the time I installed all the Quest and VR software, I also installed a new printer on my network so that could have also been a contributing factor.

Having lost my save data a few days ago it's time to start again. The return of Lotus.

That Japanese GP though... I had everything to lose and everything went wrong, from a car on an outlap crashing me out to pushing too hard in the race. Didn't think that I'd have my first quali and race retirements on the final weekend of the season 😅 One more time congratulations to @kisuke_fly! You were able to control the pressure and get the race win and the championship... while I did the exact opposite and was forced to watch 23 laps of absolute dominance from you 🙂

The dirt racing in GT4 is kind of terrible. It's much more akin to ice racing in that you never actually seem to have any amount of actual traction and the Grand Canyon course is very tight with very close barriers and slowdown dirt banks. It's way easier to get used to DR and DR2... or any other game with dirt racing I've tried. As an aside, the Enthusia Library music is way too good for something people won't ever hear. The whole soundtrack is actually pretty good.

Take Two especially has been taking the p*** recently with their horrendous consumer unfriendly practices. Full priced games with unskippable ads, bugged releases that don't get fixed, zero effort copy/pastes of entire games (Switch version of NBA 2K21 is literally just a copy/paste of 2K20, which itself was a copy/paste of 2K19). Selling the F1 series to Take Two will kill the franchise, I'm sure of it. They don't care about making good video games, they just want us to empty our pockets.

T2-T5 and T8-T9 maybe the worse set of corners on any racing game I've played

Do you use Overtake and heavy fuel mix? This year starts are easier I find,in 2019 I lost positions always. Now i gain 1 or 2.

While your playing online with the custom car, classic, or official team I've noticed the lack of number fonts for player's to choose from in the customization menu. Is such a thing possible? If not for this game perhaps something for 2021? @BarryBL

My dream is a WRC game where you start in a specific era and evolve over the years, with real drivers, real liveries, etc. So if I was driving for Ford in the late 90s, my Escort is automatically upgraded to a Focus when I start the 1999 season. Imagine being on the Peugeot team in the early 2000s driving a competitive 206, then in 2004 the car changes to a 307 with that shi*** gearbox. If you are a Citroën driver in 2019, due to the team's decision to leave the WRC, you may have to get a contract with a WRC2 team for 2020, for example. Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but it would be cool.
