I'm talking about the drivers who made their debut in F2 in 2020 and are not present in the 2019 season, i.e. Schwartzman, Ticktum, NIssany, Sato, Armstrong, Lundgaard, Samaia (the new Raghunathan xD), Drugovich, Daruvala, Tsunoda, Markelov and Pedro Piquet: will these drivers be also added in My Team career mode and thus be available for the player and for other F1 teams to hire ? And if so, will this apply to My Team careers which have already started ? And will other F2 drivers stats be adjusted according to their 2020 achievements ?

I know they put the option to show the HUD in cockpit view, but that's not what I'm talking about at all. I'm talking about menus that display damage, temperature etc. I would like these to be displayed directly on the screen of the steering wheel as in the following assemblies:

A detailed description - The game has no option to save game progress during split-screen championship. Platform - Windows 10 PC Version of the game - 1.12 Can you make the problem happen again? - Yes, every time, when exiting split-screen mode. How do you make the problem happen? - By trying to continue previously started season in split-screen mode. What troubleshooting have you attempted? - None, because despite it being a gamebreaker, it's still a feature that's not functional at all (or just absent), rather than a bugged one. What peripherals are you are using - Xbox One S gamepad and/or Logitech G29. Any screenshots or video of the issue? - I suppose they're not necessary for this issue. And a bit wider explanation: F1 2020 has fantastic split screen mode, and you can even play entire season of 100% length races with your friend as your teammate if you'd like to. The game even keeps track of points scoring along the whole season, which is awesome and unusual nowadays. BUT!! What's the point of all this if YOU CAN'T SAVE THE GAME in this mode at all!? There's not even an autosave option. Every time you exit split screen mode, the whole progress is gone. There's such a big potential in this mode, and everything is already there. All that's needed is one small micropatch, that would add at least an autosave feature. Actually it's already there, like in championship or career mode. Please just make it functional in split screen too. I believe it's not asking for too much.

I want a new EGO game engine supporting longer stages and a physics overhaul that ditches the center pivot model but only if they are going to take the time to do it properly, resulting in an experience improvement over what we currently have. Change just for change's sake is not a good idea. Also, I don't want it to be so hardcore that cars are not just as enjoyable to drive as they are on controller now. The controller input they have right now is great and I would hate to see that lost in a move towards something unrealistically difficult. Insane difficulty does not equal realism and definitely not enjoyment for many people. I think a lot games that wear the term "hardcore sim" are unnecessarily difficult to the point that it might be more difficult than driving the cars in real life. I want the next Dirt Rally to strike a great balance between being as close to real rally car physics as possible while still remaining very fun. At the end of the day, these are games and I play them for fun.

Hi, I wanted to drop a few suggestions/questions: 1) Considering party mode and all the engine modes have been banned since Monza, are you also planning to remove the fuel mix settings this year or it's something you will do in 2021? I understand it's not as simple as just getting rid of the lean and rich fuel mix, as for example, AI lap times in quali should also be higher if players can not use fuel mix 4. 2) About the calendar in F1 2020, would it be possible to have it with at least the exact same number of races (17) as the official one and with the option to sort the order? So far the closest option we have is 16 and it is impossible to change the order. Also in that case we should not have faster wear of the Power Unit components as it is in 16 races season now. 3) Some tracks need at least little updates. First example coming to my mind is Canada and specifically the 150, 100 and 50 m distance signs before the last chicane. They should be much bigger, like they are in reality. They are so small that it's really hard to use them to calculate your braking point. I know there is at least another thread about track improvements but honestly I don't care if a specific kerb is red, white or yellow or other purely aesthetic details. Signs you are supposed to use as indicators of braking point on the other hand are more functional than aesthetic, so they should have a high priority. 4) Considering the fact that in F1 2021 there should be the full F2 2020 season, and that in the official F2 2020 season they raced at Mugello, does it mean we will see the Italian circuit in the next game? 5) Codemasters should consider to create a Localization team. From what I understand other companies are doing that work for you and results are really terrible. It is clear that people working on it don't know anything about F1. I've only played Italian version so I don't know about other languages, all I can say is that it is full of mistakes that should at least be detected during the pre-launch quality test. I have worked myself for 1 year in the Localization team of another big videogames company and it is very sad to see CM games every year with such a poor localization. Most of these mistakes could be easily spotted and corrected in few weeks of testing by a team of no more than 3 persons per language. E.g. it's unconceivable to see the Bus Stop chicane being translated as "fermata dell'autobus". It should not be translated at all, yet it has been like this for many years now. Or, at the end of the race the Italian Jeff says something that in English sounds like "Take that tyre and bring it home" while he means "Collect the tyre marble". I could give many other examples, like Jeff saying that you are last at the speed trap even if you were the fastest, second, fourth or sixth, or the countless mistakes/bugs in the questions by Claire. For example, this year when she is asking questions about your rival sometimes the text is generating your teammate name instead, not to mention the cut or overlapping text scattered here and there in the game menus. In Italy you have many thousands customers paying good money every year. We deserve a good quality localization!

I think I reached my skill limit with this car. I'm just not capable of controlling this car for more than 4-5 sectors in a row seriously 😄 Did now 6 rallies and not a single stage in all these rallies was without a big mistake or I was driving slowly with a broken engine/puncture. Australia was just completely ridiculous again. SS1 was okish, just small mistakes, but I was waaaaaay too cautious, I even braked on straights sometimes because I felt I lose control. On SS2 I punched on the gas right before the bridge after the first corner and landed in the ditch on the left side of the bridge. Was really embarrassing. 2 or 3 sectors later I crashed into a fence on a very fast 5 left. Got damage on pretty much everything + puncture on the rear. Barely made it to the service, could only quick repair engine and radiator and still got 30 seconds on top, lulz. SS4-6 were better, still made mistakes, but I was capable of controlling the car...probably because I had much less power available. SS7 was by far the best stage so far, but the car was still damaged on several parts (transmission and turbo had medium damage), but at least I could finish a stage without any noticable mistake and with GREEN at the end 😄 I also had a absolutely fantastic experience in Argentina on SS5 on a uphill stage. At least for the first 5 sectors. I gained 20 seconds on the current leader (I believe it was @Janneman60 ) before I crashed hard at the end of a long straight. I'm also quite impressed of @somethingthing's performance, he outclasses us all by quite much, too bad @Snoopy43 isn't competing regularly at the moment, could be an interesting battle. Don't see anyone of us can keep up with that pace. I believe I couldn't even beat him in a Delta 😄

Considering some problems go back to 2018 edition or before cause codemasters just keep rehashing previous game code means we be lucky to ever see a lot of bugs fixed, codemasters always looking to next version of game over fixing current one. Basically profit before pleasing customers sadly.

It is quite amusing that I have had to spend so much time learning the Hanoi track this year, with its horrible slow corners into long straights (T2-T5 and T8-T9), the technical high speed twists in the last sector (T14-T19), and not to mention that last corner, which has established itself as one of my all-time favourite spots for damaging my front wing. And now it looks like a one season wonder, at least as far as the game is concerned! I suppose I shouldn't complain, I really am terrible around that track.

If anyone sees the fibre optic livery in the store at any point please let me know! Missed it in the first few weeks after release due to pitcoin issues and not seen it since

Hi, i would like ti share some thought about what could be changed in f1 2021 even if i know i am late because i imagine that this project started 1 or 2 years ago with them rebuilding their ego engine. Nevertheless i would suggest the following: Engine mapping: with 2020 and 2021 rules banning engine modes i guess that codemasters will have to remove the fuel mixture options in race, it is not a problem but i would love to be able to make like you do the setup a costum engine map like they do in real life to costumise how the fuel and ers is automatically deployed around the lap. Red flags and cars being removed: we all wanted this for so long, i guess that codies did not do this before due to consol being a limiting factor. Since the next gen consols should not be so far behind middle range pcs it would be nice to have red flags into the game and cars not ghosting (option toggle on or off) and having them removed off the track by marshals pushing it out or using the tower crane if the car cannot be moved due to damage. Pitlane order changing based on each year standings. Full car damage model (front tyres, rear tires, front and back wing, floor and bargeboards) with simulated damage based on the way you damaged the part with the hit and not a prescripted effect like the yellow orange and red front wing. Real time tyres calculations enhanced with the addition of graning, blistering and flat spots. Smarter team radio with more information and more conversation capabilities (it would require a lot of machine learning training i guess so i do not expect this) and not jeff anymore, it would be nice to have the voice of the engineers in each team. Team orders. Different development system in whch you do not have a tree like thing anymore but you kinda decide which area to develop and updates need to be tested on track to see if they are effective or not and so you need to understand in which area you should improve your car and in which specific way (like with ferrari this year where they needed a few races to understand in which direction improve the car). Full-pre season testing which is nice along with the new development system to be able to bring different specs of a part to test them. 2020 tracks and historical ones and having track votes like in motorsport manager to swap or remove or add weekends to a season. Better cutting edge graphics for pcs, i do not want the stall the game has ahd in the last years progressing slowly because consols are well behind.

Didn't get into DR2 until late in the season, but this definitely looks like a fun event.

Yes, drivers can get a penalty sometimes, but the most unrealistic part is the fact that Jeff doesn't give you information about somebody having a penalty. Example: "Some information about Albon; he has a 5-second penalty". I believe that last time we had this kind of information was F1 2014, if I'm not mistaken. Looking forward to see this getting back to 2020 for the next patch.

I would like if he could also remind to us, players, if we have any penalty. I was doing a 100% Monaco race, I was comfortably in 3rd position with a 10 seconds gap to 4th position. For this reason I was taking it super easy on the last two laps, then when I crossed the line I was surprised to see I was 4th. I had a 5 seconds penalty, which I got during my last pit stop, but I didn't see at all any info on my screen and got no message from Jeff. Had I known I would have pushed a little bit harder during those last two laps to save my position. So, yes, Jeff should definitely give us info about penalties and remind them during the last laps of the race.

I'd like to bring back an old topic from the archives: Despite massive improvments of the game in the last years, I think one of the most important things is neglected in the last games. The weather system is the same for nearly five or six years now and there wasn't a huge step of improvments in a long time. I remember when F1 2012 came out, the step of the weather system was impressive - and in this game, the weather model was more realistic than in the games of the last years. The way how the rain came to an track or the track dried out was much less predictable. In the current games, it's always the same. As soon as the DRS is disabled, you know that its time for the wet tyres, and as soon as its enabled again, you are save for slicks again. Look at the postings in the topic above and watch this video: You were able to drive with Slicks on the dry line, but if you pushed to hard, and came away from the racing line, your race was over. Same way for wet tyres in the dry. You were able to cool your tyres on the wet places on the track and were able to race a lot longer on the wet tyres. And in the current games it's always the same sheme. So, there are no really opportunitys (especially in leagues), were slower drivers could surprise in difficult conditions. I think this topic is one of the most important topics of a racing game. And before moaning and concentrating on liverys or stuff, I think the devs should focus more on the on track things again, and not only about features, that the manority of people like to see. (MyTeam etc.)

I get I must be being dumb here but I can't see a method of saving my current wheel settings. I can see an option to load them, but not to save? Any advice of what I'm missing please? Thanks Mike
