Don't think it is being the solution, it's part of the problem. This seems like a classic multimonitor issue. It's about time whether it's designated as a Windows display issue, a Citrix issue or a Codemasters issue. If you take the second step and uninstall Citrix but leave the 2nd monitor connected, delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and try the game again, what happens? Also, on the primary display I take it 60Hz is the recommended refresh with it being 4K?

This would also be good in F2, I understand they don't want to make it mandatory due to the casual player but for hardcore fans, I think it should definitely be a toggle option, where we can opt in if we so wish. Hopefully it is something they are looking at because it is long overdue.

Hi everyone, For the first round, we will keep at the usual time on Friday. Then we can discuss in the Steam Chat whether we want Wednesday or Friday as currently tied.

I'll see if I can have a chat with our handling designer who may be able to drop some insight 🙂

What a spot @steviejay69. Yeah, you select 'ready up' but didn't pick a car @VitorSerraBR, so the game will kick you to spectator as it doesn't have a car to assign you to, so assumes you want to spectate.

Ha ha I'll happily defer to @LogiUK as the expert. I'm just a (former) Logitech owner (G27/G920). 😄

May want to look at the below link @4rtyom as theres some valuable G29 advice from the forum's Logitech expert @steviejay69.

Hi Vitor, Can you add some extra detail on your connectivity settings when possible? NAT Type would be great. Also, do you mean 1.13? Looks like you've also experienced an issue where gamertags do not show in the lobby. I've added that to an existing report as well.

Hi yeah my chassis is 6 upgrades from been fully upgraded . Have the best chassis on performance chart . Level with Merc . Same for engine as well . As far as aero goes I haven't put as much into that 6 th fastest I think .I have no plans on focusing on the aero too much as I'm trying to design a car that is good on high speed tracks . And average on high downforce . . In the hopes it keeps the title fight alive and to add a big of variability to the game . The only things I upgraded in aero is to do with the drag and drs for better straight line speed . Also one minor upgrade in aero could put is from 6th too 2nd in chart . Bit I want to have some tracks where the car isn't the strongest . Thanks for the info I'll try it next I'm on it

Can differential help understeer during a race stint?
  11. 1 point
I don't think you get a "massive" tyre wear using 50% diff. I always use between 50-65% and I'm still able to run a 1 stop strategy (soft & medium) on most tracks. I also don't know anybody using 100% diff (or even close). I can't think of any advantage using it. Edit: I do 50% race length all assists off.

I struggled a lot with race starts as well until I found it is related to the medium tyres. I now always use soft tyres in Q2 and it's OK since then. My starts are not perfect, but I now manage to keep my position at least. That extra level of grip can make a big difference.

No problem mate 🤣🤣 only said Ferrari as an example.. I won't choose either.. I would pick more the Redbull rear wing because of My magician of Aerodynamic Adrian Newey

If she sinks she's a witch. And if she floats then I also feel she's a witch, because she's using witchcraft to float. How about we at least wait and get some facts on the table on this. And maybe then move the goalposts.

Day 1 of total lockdown...up early and doing my marking. I'm depressed and anxious and very glad I went to my parents as my wife is still overseas and I can't even ring her, she is back in Adelaide mid next week but has to stay on base until our Covid is down to 0 again. My parents were amazed to learn last night that there is a thing called online grocery shopping lol I ordered our food for the week last night for delivery on Friday haha...they are old and a bit behind the times. I give each essay a quick glance and sort them into rough categories ie Pass, Credit, Distinction and High Distinction and then I will read all of them in depth and give a rough grade, something like 80-90 then once thats done I will choose the best 3 and the worst 3 and work out a final grade for those, then I will grade the rest compared to those 6. So far I have read around half of the 82 I have. The exam is tomorrow but its online and not that long (it doesn't have an essay question) and will be easy to grade. Oh and I won an award at work, the student association for paleontology voted me their favourite lecturer , I will get a box of chocolates when lockdown finishes. They especially liked my lockdown lectures from the beach (that was back in march-april) and my infectious enthusiasm for all things paleontology. That did cheer me up a tad. 🙂

Hi Barry, can I grab one of the AT seat for Friday? Thanks

Wow, these are some amazing ideas. I particularly like the idea of making double stacking easier and quicker. And number 33 SHOULD BE FIXED. It makes changing your front wing and changing your tires much longer.

This is an excellent point. And choosing our engine sounds is amazing too. But I wouldn't choose the Ferrari's rear wing for the MyTeam car because... it causes s🅱ins! 😂🤣😆 (sorry if you're a Ferrari fan, but you have to admit it..)

On the left hand side of the HUD you see in race, you will now see penalty flags and how long the penalty is. This is also present in spectator mode.

This is also the reason your car is so prone to catch the death banks on the side of the road in NZ. If you're on a straight and close to the bank you naturally steer towards the middle of the road to avoid it, but you will end up catching the bank with your rear. As soon as you steer away from it the rear will actually move towards it.

that is the biggest joke even in this story, a "pro" should use the Cockpit Cam, the only thing which can be adjusted are the FOV settings, but not the TV pod cam. I grew up with F1 games where there was no TV pod cam (in Grand Prix 2 e.g.) so I was used to the cockpit cam from the beginning. But I get your point mate, sure you are quicker with TV cam, as you can see corners better as well. I think in USA e.g. I would make 1 sec min better than in cockpit view. But hey it is everyones decisions right? 🙂

People c mon.. we have to be patient.. this season F2 use the new rims and the physics are different.. these things take some time to adapt to the game.. I know because I had worked in Physics of my Rfactor game a few years ago.. so.. it's Hard difficult and have to be tested before the release.. so we have to be patient

There's no window confirmed at this time. I wouldn't want to confirm a date, or even an estimate, that I would not be 100% convinced it.

It should be noted that none of the Cheat Engine stuff can be used with the online portion of the game. It simply doesn't work that way. I see a lot of people in here claiming to have "Googled" things, but apparently didn't get any further than reading the headlines of the search results themselves. F1 2020, as with the three games before it, all employ DRM whenever you connect to the servers. That means any hint or whiff of something like Cheat Engine that hooks into the game processes in system memory, will automatically get you flagged, and as with games like Forza Horizon 4, get you instantly and irrevocably banned. Now the cheaters could be, and probably are, using glitches in the game engine (such as the flashback bug), which is supposedly something CM are (were?) looking in to, but if you want to report people for something, and you expect to be taken remotely seriously, it would be best not to rant and rave about things you clearly have zero knowledge of. It would also be best not to start naming names and declaring you have proof, when what you have is absolutely nothing of the sort. Just report them to CM, and hope that they deal with it. Naming people just encourages intellectually stunted nitwits to dogpile others, resulting in a toxic community. No-one wants that. EDIT: Because I like to show my workings out https://www.reddit.com/r/F1Game/comments/ifdk5l/banned_from_f1_2020_online/ One of hundreds of similar threads bemoaning bans that occurred thanks to the anti-cheat.
