1 point1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. So I've found a way to induce frame stuttering in all modes of the game with 100% reliability and thing that this may be a reason why a lot of people experience stuttering. To note, I would describe it as "Frame time stuttering." So in order to have this happen you may or may not need to be on PC but I am on pc. I would assume it happens on all specs of pc since I could cause the stuttering at every graphics setting. You need to be using a Bluetooth wireless controller. (I used xbox one) and have a bluetooth adapter for your pc. Specifically I'm using a fairly cheap one off Amazon. I think that the Force Feedback code is creating Wait on frame rendering, and if your bluetooth connection to your controller isn't high, or stable it will create the games frametime to hitch and stutter as each frame waits for force feedback data. Why do I think this? Because I can lean back in my chair and have next to no noticeable stuttering, but if I lean forward and put my hands on my desk, giving my controller the worst connection to the bluetooth adapter, the stuttering brings the game to unplayable levels(It also makes the audio stutter and hitch, so full game engine stuttering I presume). Then I can lean back or hold the controller near my pc and suddenly my frame time returns to normal. But the ultimate tell tale is that disabling force feedback all together make my framerate higher overall and never produce stuttering, even with my hands on my desk. (I have had my controller lose connection before with my hands on my desk, in many games that I use it for. So I know the signal strength is quite weak when I do that.) Maybe it is my cheap adapter? But I think the force feedback code for controllers should be looked at. 2. Platform Probably all of them? 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.05 4. Game-mode? All of them 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. 100% check wall of text. Use bluetooth with wireless controller, influence signal strength. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue There is no way to fix the issue and maintain force feedback 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Gamepad, specifically xbox one (none elite) 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

1 pointWelcome to the L2S community page. https://discord.gg/tyhvyFmD -- TO JOIN ADD chappy#2215 on discord or Chappyy92 on PSN This community was created to enjoy clean, competitive and most importantly fun racing on F1 2020 (as we know, random lobbies are none of the above). L2S run a number of different championships including F1, F2 and a Time Trial Championship across different nights in the week. Hopefully it means there’s something for everyone. We are building a community where people can enjoy close racing and also have some banter on our various discord servers. We have a L2S community server that will centralise all the various championships showing all race results, sign ups for all the championships and hopefully a place where everyone can improve. You can set up practice lobbies, races for fun, find tips and tricks to improve as a driver, community feedback. There could be a few surprises in the coming months. Thank you for being a part of our community and see below some useful info: Days and times the various championships: Unranked Lobbies TBA (Twice a week average) L2S F1 championship: Thursday nights at 9pm UK time L2S F2 championship: Tuesday nights at 9:30pm UK time L2S TT Championship: Monday to Sunday midnight UK time Please read our rules before joining. 1. Clean driving. You must have a basic understanding of Race Rules. 2. Weekly Attendance (Signing in or out of weekly races) 3. When Retiring from race please return to pits before exiting the game (No rage quitting AI will ruin the rest of the race) 4. No resetting to track. (We want the racing to feel as realistic as possible) 6. Shouting or abusive behaviour in-game and within Discord will not be tolerated (If any such behaviour is reported, the league moderators will discuss and decide upon appropriate action.) 7. Record your onboard footage and post all track incidents to incident-report-page - (NO VIDEO EVIDENCE NO INCIDENT) 8. Have fun and enjoy the racing ! 1 pointDon't know what others think but i hate them. Same questions over and over, and asking me about when i was in a collision and hit the wall when i didn't.. multiple times i got asked the same question in the same interview, once 3 times. It's really repetitive.

1 pointA detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Report code: CRPT-SAKR-JXME-MVKV As of update 1.13 the language of the radio has changed and it does not allow me to put it in Spanish, it gives me the option of other languages except Spanish Platform PS4 What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.13 Game-mode? my team, online games, virtually all game modes We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? try uninstalling and installing the game again and the problem persists How do you make the problem happen? It happens practically alone, it changed since the update from there it is impossible to put the radio in Spanish What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue try uninstalling and installing the game again and the problem persists What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) none, due to the dualshock 4 audio, I tried to change the output to that of my tv but the problem continued Any screenshots or video of the issue? 1 pointThat reminded me of f1 2005 game for ps2. Playing with ferrari (schumacher ofc) in the Malaysian Grand Prix. Leading every lap and almost in the end smoking coming out the back of the car and there we go, engine failure. It ****** me of, but was realistic and that's racing. Sometimes luck is not with us sometimes it is, it's part of the sport, every single one of them.

1 pointFor 2021 no questions asked, slipstream needs to be stronger. this year its been an absolute joke, there practically is no slipstream. i was racing at spa and on lap 1 behind bottas with slipstream and ers on overtake i gained no speed on him at all, its an honest joke. you increase the dirty air but reduce the slipstream, its stupid. 2018 was perfect for slipstream, 2019 it was reduced and this year its pretty much gone altogether

1 pointI have downloaded F1 2020 on the Playstation 5 and must say it looks much more 4K now than it has before on the PS4 Pro. Additionally it runs much smoother now like constant 60 fps. You can really feel the difference. The loading times are a lot faster also. So far big improvement to PS4 version! 👍

1 pointYour suggestions are clear, however I am confused by their delivery method as it seems more combative than constructive, and thus reduces their effectiveness. I'll assume you're not being hyerbolic, and take your comments at face value. There was a patch literally this week that addressed various stability issues in Multiplayer and added some quality-of-life features. Based on what I've been seeing online My Team (and Career in previous years) is by far the most popular mode in the game. It would make sense to put more focus on features the majority enjoys, in my opinion. Not disagreeing with you, but do you have anything substantial to back this up? I liked those in GT Sport. F1 Esports currently uses 35% race distance. Maybe that will come to future games, who knows (spoiler: I don't as I'm not a developer). That being said, 25% isn't that popular in Ranked to begin with as from my experience people tend to lean towards 5 Lap races. If you get taken out on Lap 1 you only have to wait 10-15 minutes to have another shot to rank up, and not 30. If you split matchmaking up too far then it can become almost impossible to find a decently-populated lobby. As mentioned above, it's already hard to find 20% races depending on the day/rank/platform. Have a read of this: https://joostdevblog.blogspot.com/2014/11/why-good-matchmaking-requires-enormous.html. Can you come up with a suggestion for a system that properly and objectively defines who is driving well and who isn't? As much as I liked GT Sport here's a thread with 5,000 comments on how their system wasn't producing desired results for those commenting. Asynchronous Multiplayer is still Multiplayer by definition, and one of the only viable ways to allow tens of thousands of people to take part. I don't know where you work but in the jobs I've had kicking down somebody's door and demanding changes, without providing substantial evidence in a constructive manner not an effective way to enact change. What it is effective at is getting told to go back through the gap in the wall where a door used to be. Project CARS 3 built it, "they" didn't come. I know that game wasn't well-received in general, but as somebody that regularly plays and hosts online sessions, it has many of the features you are asking for (Rating system, Scheduled Races etc.). If you can provide substantial evidence of that then you may have a case. Codemasters has an entire department dedicated to data, analytics and user research (LiveOps) that looks at the bigger picture on what elements of each game are "working" and what ones aren't, so if the audience is as critical as you imply the data should already be in there somewhere 🙂 If you can justify the enormous expenses, sure. The only racing games I know of (in the console space) that use dedicated servers are published by Microsoft/Sony. It’s been over 3 years since I’ve even attempted a ranked race as they are beyond horrible!! That sort of invalidates your initial argument as you haven't played the feature you're giving all the feedback on, and instead relying on second-hand information. One final point for anyone reading this: A drive-by comment at the tail end of a thread isn't as effective as a constructive, well thought-out proposal that's posted in the right place. Even so, significant changes to pillars of game design (ie: overhauling an entire subset of the game) requires at least a year of research, design and development (sometimes 2+). Smaller things could, depending on the game and service plan, be tweaked in future updates*. * If you want an example of that, here is how I convinced Turn 10 to add a new lobby to Forza Motorsport 6 within 24 hours. I provided context and data, outlined the positives of a reasonable suggestion and opened the floor for others to support it in the thread to show that more people than me wanted that change to happen. I was later told by Turn 10 that this was the perfect way to give feedback and make a suggestion.

1 point@Olavstar please keep in mind that CM’s F1 2020 is a video game and NOT a simulator. The track limits on strict setting is there to insure we are all playing on an even playing field. Cross the white lines with more then 2 tires & gaining time, you are out of bounds. You can get away with it if you do not gain time, sometimes. I have no problems with the the track limits as they are. If you are looking for “real life” limits, you must look elsewhere, you will not find it in this video game. I believe CM uses the white lines as the limits to make sure we all know where the line is while playing. In doing this there is no question where the line is and if you went too far a out of bounds. The white line clearly defines the track limits for an entire lap. Please do not take offense to this but this has been brought up in numerous post before. There has to be a limit somewhere in order to keep it fair for us who choose to race in any of the online modes, including TT, weekly events, esports, leagues and ranked rooms. Again, this is an entry level video game & not a simulator. You will not find this level of realism in a $70 a year video game. I suggest iRacing if you really want realism. It is a simulator, which you will spend more money to participate in, but you will find it more inline with real life. In no way am I trying to offend you, so please don’t be mad at me.

0 pointsThe best thing to do with the ranked lobbies is do your 5 races, get the achieve a rank trophy and never go back. It's a complete mess. I unfortunately entered the ranked lobbies when the game was first released... you know, when it was far from actually being finished. Kind of like giving you your pizza you payed for before it's even been put it the oven. I was so lucky to have 3 of my 5 races be covered up by the communicating with online services screen issue. Couldn't see anything and had no choice but to either crash or let the AI take over.....and crash. It was super fun. One of the races I did get to actually see, I was taken out at Baku and when I got to the pits to change my wing, my pit crew didn't come out of the garage and my car left the same way I entered the pits. I have it recorded. It's some of CM finest work. The problem with ranked is everything. It's like entering a demolition derby and trying not to get hit. At some point, you're getting hit and the person who does it, if done properly benefits while you drop back and suffer a rating drop. Or if they're real good at it, you're terminally damaged and your race is over, and nothing happens to them. CM do us all a favor and don't make us go through the disaster that is ranked to achieve a trophy in the next game. It's almost as bad as the Weekly Event GP's, when the slower people don't pit and if you're unfortunate to come out of the pits behind one of them, you not only get held up, but your race is also ruined because the main chunk of points are for how fast you complete the race. You pretty much have to pull a pit stop gap on P2 if you want to score well and not worry about your race being a write off. Or you can just score well by benefiting from those lovely glitched scores that end up being 200,000 points more than some of the fastest players online. But you don't like to talk about that so I'd best not mention that. It's not like P1 in a Weekly Event gets an invite to participate in the Time Trial route of the F1 Esports Series 2021 or anything. We wouldn't want to remove those scores from the Leaderboard before the event ends so the rightful individual gets what they earned. That would just make way too much sense to do. And probably take a long time... a couple minutes I'm guessing. LOL to the predictable thumbs down
