2 pointsI got all information you need now, about the Case 1, related in initial post in Netherlands with player name "FNT KEVIN 80" KEVIN REPORT CODE: JTDP-MAVJ-KKRX-TJVS NAT TYPE: Open, without restrictions. CONNECTIVITY SETTINGS: Majority wired, Kevin wired. REPORT CODE: JTDP-MAVJ-KKRX-TJVS HOW MANY TIMES: It happened every race, since patch 1.13. We have 2 divisions, with different players, and the issue repeat there too.

2 pointsA detailed description of the issue. Wrong position indication for player name "ReservedHorsebr" as explained in the initial report post, the game moves down the player in position board suddenly, in this case, he was moved from P2 to P10, but you can see, he stayed P2 in track all the time. It causes confusions, because everybody can see this change in position indication, so it generates wrong blue flags, different winners and podiums. Platform Xbox One What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.13 Ranked/Unranked/Leagues Unranked Wired or Wireless Connection? We have a procedure at community, to avoid wireless, so majority players use wired. The amount of players in your session? 14 Were you the host? Yes, I was host, Denis. Gamertag: F1MB DENIS Did this issue happens for everyone in the session, just some people or just yourself? What did they see? Everybody said they could notice that, except own "ReservedHorsebr". We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? It's happening every race, I think we can reproduce just opening a new race lobby. How do you make the problem happen? Just starting a race lobby and waiting the issue appears. It has been happening since 1.13 patch. Can you add a report code. How to find this is in Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > 16 digit code in the bottom left of the screen. Please make sure that this is the code from the session you had the issue in. Adding report codes from as many users in your session as possible would be really helpful here. MXKK-BMGX-MSST-DBTS Video of the issue, including timestamps. Did you stream the session? Video attached, There is no timestamp available in F1 2020 game, xbox or twitch. But you it happened in turn 7, the lobby started about 21:00h Brazil. vod-816879373-offset-2514.mp4

1 pointHi Codemasters, I would like to suggest a feature which could be pretty useful to the players IMHO: add the MDF panel in the Pause Menu too, in a similar way the user can change the gameplay settings while loading the screens, this would help a lot and could be more realistic too, I explain you why. Today I had a troubled GP which gave me the idea. I cannot set voice command in my configuration (like the most of the players?), therefore I'm forced to navigate the MDF with the arrows' buttons of my wheel (a Logitech G29) to change the most of MDF settings. I also use the shortcuts but all my buttons are already in use for the "driving" settings like ERS, Differential, etc, so the others remain "to be navigated", always with buttons on the wheel but to make 3-4 different clicks need a bit o focus, move the eyes to the steering wheel and this may cause loss of concentration. Mainly I'm referring to the settings which are not always used but sometimes they are absolutely necessary during a GP, like choose/change the compound for the next pit stop, modify the front wing setting, or the damage repair one. If the track has a long straight this is not a big problem, although not "funny" the same to move the focus even for only 2-3 seconds, but today I had a tricky 100% race in Monaco and I needed to make changes due to dynamic weather. It was pretty impossible to do it without losing the control of the car, I had to use some Flashbacks to get over it and it was a bit disappointing. With the suggested feature it would be much more easy, just pause the game, change the settings and come back to racing in few seconds. This would also be more realistic IMHO, because real drivers don't need to play with MDF to choose the next tyres so in our game, the player won't lose his concentration during the race anymore. If add the whole MDF system (preferred if possible) in the Pause Menu is an hard matter, it would be enough to add only the toggles shown in the picture. Hope you can have a look, thank you in advance Cheers, Nuv

1 pointHey lads. Just my personal input on F2 and how I think it could be improved, both in championship mode and in career mode. Championship Mode - Allow a second set of softer tyres ti be used in qualifying. As I write this thread I am watching the F2 qualifying session in Bahrain and the drivers will use a second set of soft tyres for their second run. In the game we (the players) have been locked into using a single set of tyres in qualifying. Hopefully this can be updated because it’s a small change but makes a big difference to the qualifying in F2 sessions. - Have the AI run the alternate strategy. I have played the F1 games since F1 2009 and I believe in every game, the AI runs the fastest simulated strategy available to them, usually the 1st option in the player strategy selection. This means that the AI will always run a one stop strategy in the feature race, starting on the softer tyre and switching to the harder compound. If the developers can change this system and allow a mixed AI strategy it would greatly improve the experience in F2 racing. As a side note, I believe the developers are aware of the current issue that means AI will make a pit stop unnecessarily in the sprint races. Career Mode - The first change I think should be made is allow the player to run a second season in F2. I finished 6th in the standings after a season in F2 and was beaten by Illot, meaning I was the second placed driver in the FDA, I think as it’s our personal career mode, we should have the option to run a second F2 season, as we have the option to run no F2 season at all. - This is linked into my first point but I felt, at the end of my F2 season, it did not impact my career mode at all, my market value was up €500,000 to when I skipped F2 but it did not make an impact into which team I could sign for and it felt very unrewarding after committing to a full season of 24 Grands Prix. I think how you perform in F2 should directly affect which teams are interested in you, similar to how the draft works on NBA 2K and as the season progresses you can see which teams are interested in signing you. Hopefully someone will take the time to read and forward this to the developers and if you did, thank you. Cheers.

1 pointSome of the things i would like to see on next gen for f1 is 1. Paint Shop similar to forza or gran turismo to where you can properly paint a car/helmet/suit/logos and maybe and option to share with friends for league racing. 2. Option to pick exactly how many tyres of each compound to use for a race weekend online and offline. 3. A better button input system that doesn't copy the same button for some features... Like on the Thrustmaster TX 458 wheel on xbox, two buttons on the wheel do the same function as standard, and can't be tweaked because it just tells you to bind it as both buttons are programmed stock to work as a double A button input... 4. Bring back Online Championship mode or work it into leagues and make the leagues section more straight forward and simple to run like online championship was... 5. Being able to have VR support across all platforms in all modes 6. Being able to pick/change the aesthetic parts of the career mode or online car in a customisation section 7. Return to garage option would be greatly appreciated back in online sessions, as it reduces alot of time and alot of sims have a instant return to pits button... And we haven't seen it on f1 games since 2015 8. Better and more accurate track limits, as currently it's barely consistent or realistic at all.. One lap i go a millimetre over a white line and thats a warning or penalty worthy, the next two or three times i can hang half my car out and it's fine... Then vice versa the laps after 9. More accurate track models, so far in 20 we have seen a few tracks be reworked and edited to be closer to real life, but sadly not all the tracks have the same effort put in... Like spa for example they reworked one kerb, but didn't widen and flatten the exit of no name like it is in real life, nor did they fix the lack of extra run off on the right hand side leading up to blancimont. They also didn't get rid of the weird hill like bump after the last corner apex and turn one and thats just not how the track is in real life... 10. Classic tracks if we had them as an option 7 years ago on 2013, why can't we get them or atleast the current ones used this year IRL on next years game as DLC? Logically if they started work on them as the irl season started they should be done by the release of F1 2021... (as according to them tracks take a year to create and finalise) 11. Better options for the MFD display like asking if your car has any specific damage, or asking if the cars around you have damage or if they have pitted or their potential pit window... 12. Being able to join a online session late and pick your exact car you want or need to be in specially for league events 13. F1 cars tend to be very pointy and on the nose twitchy, i believe every car should be on the edge of spinning in a high speed section on default setup... Then allow us to make changes to the setup to reduce the oversteer instead of catering to the average person with the stock understeering setups because they can't handle how a real open wheel car operates 14. Better physics at slower speeds, i want to be able to not have to overly think about my throttle input. If you watch any sort of onboard with telemetry IRL you can see that they not only use 3rd gear for most slow corners and have amazing rotation but they also have amazing traction to only need to modulate the throttle very slightly or so then they just mash the pedal it's extremely linear and smooth unlike in this game... 15. I want to be able to control my downshifts properly regardless if it wears my engine out quicker or not... I hate the fact that IRL (if you watch bottas's nurburgring hotlap and most cars at turkey on a severely low grip track) he/they can quick downshift and the car and engine braking mode slow him/them down at the speed necessary for high speed braking zones, so far in the 2020 game i feel like compared to real life you have to downshift way too slowly for seemingly no reason in high speed zones... In slow speed all is good. 16. Less reflective surfaces on tracks sometimes on some tracks i need to tweak my in game brightness to be able to fully see the track without being blinded particularly in braking zones... 17. Online needs to be super stabalised next year as 2020 so far has left a sour taste in many peoples mouths with it's online not capable to run races without some sort of issue happening outside of players control... TRL Limitless voiced his opinion on it fairly recently too 18. Better bug fixing efficiency, i get that by making a title on many different platforms and millions and millions of copies, there is bound to be a corrupted file or two... But the amount of glitches found on this years game in particular is ridiculous every other patch makes the game worse 19. Giving a designated spectator the ability to control the VSC safety car and or yellow flag situations would be a HUGE help, as it would provide a human element in the races that an algorithm or AI wouldn't consider thus giving us more control in critical moments of the race 20. Being able to have better visual optimisation for the in car mfd, as at some points you can't read it at all (williams is a classic case in point) unless i have my fov moved unrealistically forward it can't be read... 21. Having a throttle, brake and steering info bar showing your inputs would be great, i know they added most of that in the one of the recent updates but in cockpit view it's distracting having the same info displayed in the exact same design twice, my idea would be to have the info shown to you in tiny boxes with bars in them that reflect your input like in iRacing, or Rfactor, or Assetto Corsa to name a few. 22. Adding in an option to allow a majority vote system which allows all drivers to vote for restarts instead of making an entirely new lobby to sort the grid via the grid editor when it's needed. 23. Accurate car models and sponsors, as some cars are missing sponsors in key areas, for example mclaren and their big velo sponsor that breaks up the large blue panel on their sidepods 24. Adding more variety in names to be used in the character creation screen, because having the same names for 3 years is stale... And for people like me kinda hopeless having to use a name that is somewhat like my own... Or giving up on that and having to use a nickname that doesn't suit me at all 25. Double Stacking should have been added to these titles much earlier on as it's doable in real life... 26. Ability to choose the strategy our teammate uses in races in either career mode or grand prix, or My team, or online even... 27. Option to start from the pitlane 28. Option for lapped cars to overtake safety car to join lead lap, or just overtake to properly organise the grid 29. Drying line 30. Dedicated theater system with vault for saving full length race replays 31. Better and more accurate changes of the wing/tyres in the pits instead of the animation showing they are taking them off only for the wheels and wing to remain in place and be overlapped with the newer tyres or wing... 32. Visual representation of wing level people are running... Example, if people are running low wings then the game shows them running a monza rear or front wing... And vice versa 33. Please bring in an option to fix damage only in a pitstop so we don't always have to change tyres... This would help out massively on starts after turn one incidents... If we can sort damage then we don't need alter our strategy completely... 34. Braking i feel is all or nothing... Some zones i feel like you have to brake alot earlier and or harder than you could on most recent titles, i also feel like the lock ups happen far too late, i would also like to be able to have a further rear bias instead of 50 where on most occasions i can't trail into a corner without pushing off the right line or without a small lock up that scrubs speed... 35. I would like a option to not change tyres as it helps us out if we've been damaged or spun out and want to keep our original strategy without losing even more time changing tyres...

1 pointI think I'll step in to end this discussion here. From a game standpoint, we have to keep the cars running at their approved levels at the start of all single player game modes. The main reason that 'Equal Cars' is available in Multiplayer is so players can have a fair experience. Without this, the game becomes impossible to race on for a lot of users. Although its a nice idea, having F1 cars all run at equal performance in Grand Prix mode would not be truly indicative on modern-day F1, and would be very difficult to persuade all stakeholders that this would be viable.

1 pointHi @SabolcSaghmeist, A pitstop is mandatory in F1, so we have to follow this in all race lengths except the 5 lap 'Quick Race'
-
1 pointit should be in the game from start. i don't care about patches, current state of the market, consoles etc. if game is not ready dont release it, as many devs do. god bless refund system.

1 pointhi guys, so I switched to automatic shifting now, made my first myTeam race again with that, Canada was my savegame ;) AI 96 50% length, my race was ok, I was in P12 just all the time and 4 laps before the end the wall of champions got me, DNF - anyhow, the race was clean and stable until that crash, getting used to it. I bought a Wheel Stand as well in the meantime, makes everything better :) thanks for your tipps here guys. Cheers

1 pointFirst off, a rainy race or practice session here and there is absolutely ok. The problem here is the scripted races and weather - especially for myteam mode: If the weather report speaks of a chance of rain, it will start in lap 18, say. If for some reason you (have to) restart the session, it will also start to rain in lap 18 and you will already know it in advance. The same is true for AI drivers having car failures and causing safety car etc.. Why do these events have to be scripted rather than occuring randomly? Cant be that hard to set a chance for failures which increases later in the race, and if you have to script all the weather, then at least do it in a way, that it might start or cease +/- 5 laps every time you restart the session. Knowing when it will start raining and when it will cease again, plus knowing when Hamilton will pull over with engine trouble, is not like playing a game, its like watching a movie.

1 pointHaha nice video, I hope the experience is ok for you. Its so hot today, 40.6 recorded and its not even officially summer yet!

1 pointI understood exactly what you said. I was being a bit sarcastic. Maybe that didn’t come across that well. Or maybe you have less brains than my house plant and just like insulting people. Maybe I’m just tired of people wanting every available option for every game instead of just playing the game they have. Or find a game that does what they want. Surely the point of the career mode is to build a better car? But maybe that’s just me. I guess the cars are equal in multiplayer, but having the same car to me seems like just hoping in the merc and winning. I’m going to assume the teams wouldn’t sign off of equal performance. But again, this is just opinion of one older gamer. And FYI, as someone who has raced in a couple of clubman one make series, I can tell you the same drivers always finish near the top. And if you don’t believe me, just look at F2. If it wasn’t for the reverse grid, you’d get the same few drivers on the podium every race. but hey, let’s throw the realism out of the window. I’m sure the ‘we need a Ferrari engine nerf now!!’ brigade will be outside waving their banners to agree, until the merc runs off into the distance due to realism and not balancing. You can’t please everyone. Not with a monopoly on a game. I was going to suggest ACC, as the BOP more or less keeps everything equal, but I have a feeling I’d be met with ‘but I want f1!’

1 pointTo those responsible for Codemasters, We request on behalf of all consumers to take action in relation to the frequent "bugs" that occur in the F1 2020 game. The position indicator "bug" is just one that bothers us when we try to enjoy the game. With all due respect, our feeling is that Codemasters disrespects and disregards its consumers. The game was released months ago and with each update, the feeling is that it only gets worse. May Codemasters be able to consider the appeal of its consumers and resolve, once and for all, these totally unpleasant situations. We wait. Thanks.

0 pointsGood idea. Last week I saw Lewis Hamilton request rain conditions in Istanbul. Would make it much more realistic to have one person request the weather, rather than the world or in this case AI make it random. 🙄 To be clear, I'm all for realistic random weather. Program that right, and we're good. In career mode though, if it's balalnced right I'd rather have it random and out of my control. If I can tell the game to make it rain in the last half of the race, then i know when to pit and change tires. That seems kinda of.... counter productive to what really happens on F1 sundays. So I'd rather see random weather, but have my team give me an actual real time weather forecast during the race if rain is in the forecast. Tell me about it as the race is unfolding and let me and my team adjust accordingly. Whats the fun in custom weather? OK... we're in Suzuka. I want a clean dry race because I struggle at this track. Easy finishing result. Does that feel good? Not really. I'd rather have what we have now... a simple forecast... keep checking in with your engineer if rain is in the forecast as to when its coming... I think people that request this just dislike the fact that its random, and they struggle to drive in the wet and hate how it impacts their championship standings. I dont understand the want for a "realistic" simulation game, but wanting the control over weather.. That's as unrealistic as it comes. If you want to race in Bahrain with rain... run a fictional single grand prix race in rain there. problem solved. in career modes it should be randomized. if you want the ability to make it sunny every race... fine... to each their own. but dont ruin the surprise element of weather for the rest of us.
