Hey guys, Just wanted to share my “my team” journey and the achievements achieved along the way! My initial plan was to resurrect Force india and obliterate Racing point (which i very much did!) alongside lord Mahveer Ragunathan After one season, he was he bit to slow so i brought in Mick Schumacher resulting in him winning a few races on his own! Then came a fellow dutchie, a 100!!! Rated Max Verstappen onboard and won his first championship in dominant fashion Charles Leclerc, George Russel and Pierre Gasly were teammates aswell but never had the succes like Max did. To end on a very fun and unique experience in the F1 games, hereby i wanna thank codies on creating this gamemode and hopefully even better things await us! (Photo #1: Full career results, matched Vettel in terms of wins as well!) (Photo #2: Season 10 livery)

Hi, I am new to F1 2019 and liking the basic game. I am trying to build up to using no assists and struggling. What I would like to know is approx how long did it take people to get the feel of this? I am using a G29 on PC so not the most high end set up but am struggling to complete a test lap without assists. Are there any tips people can suggest?

Detailed description Just came back to the game following patch 1.09 and now the game does not realise i've pulled my clutch in for the race start. (EDIT: Also a problem with patch 1.10) The button (number 5 on my fanatec) is only set to 'clutch' and 'gear up'. Gear up works when racing but the game keeps telling me to pull my clutch in on a race start, I do so but nothing happens and I can't launch off the line. I have the attached code if this helps? Platform PC/Steam What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) Version 1.09 (EDIT: Also a problem with patch 1.10) Game-mode? All We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? Yes it is a constant How do you make the problem happen? Start any race with a standing start with manual starts enabled What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Checked latest wheel and game drivers, also verified games files on Steam. Ensured this button is not multi-assigned. Button works in software and in races just not on manual restart. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Fanatec DD1 Podium F1 wheel. All latest drivers

@Rm144 @willpeterson20 Ive found the fix with the help of a YouTube comment - Turn off HDR from the PS5 Settings & Boom! Instant Fix. Still at 4k & 120fps but NO HDR. I don't know whose fault this is, samsung or dirt 5. But we need a fix soon, hope this helps Will Peterson & RM 144!

Make the cars so Neutral can't be selected unless you're not moving at all. I've had a few instances where I've been downshifting aggressively for a tight corner and go into neutral.

Thanks for the tips Stevie. Must admit I never had a problem with F1 or automobalista before (a few issues with ACC, but looks like it Ghub as when I close it, it is fine) but will try these out (but only after the grand prix today is done 🙂

Set your screen to secondary only. You will be losing performance hand over fist with duplicate displays. Also, check your power management settings, they're much more aggressive on portables.

Throwing this in here because an interesting discussion happened on Twitter yesterday. FYI, 2020 season isn't changing format (it's all locked in from Day 1 pretty much), but all of your feedback is useful for any future esports activities we do 🙂

They released Nordschleife a little bit ago too. Every week or every other week they roll out updates to the force feed back and physics. I mean just look at the aerodynamics model at play in this video.

Now that does look good! Were I to fancy delving into another driving sim, this might well be one I'd consider.

Alright haha. I was hinting to the incredible amount of service Reiza Studios have been putting into Automobalista 2 since it was in early access to post launch. There have been a lot of comparison between them and other sim studios on RaceDepartment's website and they receive a lot of praise on every post about them.

Hey lads. Just my personal input on F2 and how I think it could be improved, both in championship mode and in career mode. Championship Mode - Allow a second set of softer tyres ti be used in qualifying. As I write this thread I am watching the F2 qualifying session in Bahrain and the drivers will use a second set of soft tyres for their second run. In the game we (the players) have been locked into using a single set of tyres in qualifying. Hopefully this can be updated because it’s a small change but makes a big difference to the qualifying in F2 sessions. - Have the AI run the alternate strategy. I have played the F1 games since F1 2009 and I believe in every game, the AI runs the fastest simulated strategy available to them, usually the 1st option in the player strategy selection. This means that the AI will always run a one stop strategy in the feature race, starting on the softer tyre and switching to the harder compound. If the developers can change this system and allow a mixed AI strategy it would greatly improve the experience in F2 racing. As a side note, I believe the developers are aware of the current issue that means AI will make a pit stop unnecessarily in the sprint races. Career Mode - The first change I think should be made is allow the player to run a second season in F2. I finished 6th in the standings after a season in F2 and was beaten by Illot, meaning I was the second placed driver in the FDA, I think as it’s our personal career mode, we should have the option to run a second F2 season, as we have the option to run no F2 season at all. - This is linked into my first point but I felt, at the end of my F2 season, it did not impact my career mode at all, my market value was up €500,000 to when I skipped F2 but it did not make an impact into which team I could sign for and it felt very unrewarding after committing to a full season of 24 Grands Prix. I think how you perform in F2 should directly affect which teams are interested in you, similar to how the draft works on NBA 2K and as the season progresses you can see which teams are interested in signing you. Hopefully someone will take the time to read and forward this to the developers and if you did, thank you. Cheers.

@Olavstar please keep in mind that CM’s F1 2020 is a video game and NOT a simulator. The track limits on strict setting is there to insure we are all playing on an even playing field. Cross the white lines with more then 2 tires & gaining time, you are out of bounds. You can get away with it if you do not gain time, sometimes. I have no problems with the the track limits as they are. If you are looking for “real life” limits, you must look elsewhere, you will not find it in this video game. I believe CM uses the white lines as the limits to make sure we all know where the line is while playing. In doing this there is no question where the line is and if you went too far a out of bounds. The white line clearly defines the track limits for an entire lap. Please do not take offense to this but this has been brought up in numerous post before. There has to be a limit somewhere in order to keep it fair for us who choose to race in any of the online modes, including TT, weekly events, esports, leagues and ranked rooms. Again, this is an entry level video game & not a simulator. You will not find this level of realism in a $70 a year video game. I suggest iRacing if you really want realism. It is a simulator, which you will spend more money to participate in, but you will find it more inline with real life. In no way am I trying to offend you, so please don’t be mad at me.

Seconding this! It would be get some variation in this area to maximize player expression with their created teams. Even being able to pick from one of the other teams number fonts & being able to change the colour would have a big effect.

Thanks for the update @BarryBL 1 question, when can we expect the F2 2020 drivers?
