Hey Codemasters. I just downloaded F1 2019 from PS Store, because it was on extra sale, approx 10euro. I had this game (F1 2019) before on Blue Ray but i sold it. So now i bought it again on PS Store just to remember how it was compared to F1 2020. I can say that F1 2020 is a brutal updated version from F1 2019 !!! My comparison : My Team Career and Driver Career : My Team Career Mode = F1 2019 0 : 1 F1 2020 ( Its easy win for F1 2020, because F1 2019 doesnt have My Team Mode) Driver Career Mode = F1 2019 0 : 2 F1 2020 ( I would say F1 2020 is better, because F2 drivers can go up to F1, its a very good move from you) Driver Transfers = F1 2019 0 : 3 F1 2020 ( It was a joke in F1 2019, very stupid and unrealistic transfers. F1 2020 has more realistic Driver Transfers) A.I. Driver Rating System = F1 2019 0 : 4 F1 2020 ( Its again easy win for F1 2020, because F1 2019 doesnt have A.I. Driver Rating System ) R&D System = F1 2019 0 : 5 F1 2020 ( For me its a lot better in F1 2020, because its a lot harder to make Champion Team with Williams, Haas or Alfa ) Number of Races in Career = F1 2019 0 : 6 F1 2020 ( Its an easy win for F1 2020, because in F1 2019 there was only a Full Season with all tracks, in 2020 we have 22,16,10 nice move !!! ) Handling, Car Sounds, Graphics, ERS, Formula 2, A.I. : Driving in Rain : F1 2019 0 : 7 F1 2020 ( For me driving in rain was a joke in F1 2019 it was like driving on Ice ... Easy win for F1 2020 ) Driving in Dry : F1 2019 0 : 8 F1 2020 ( I think F1 2020 is also better here, i feel more traction in 2020, in F1 2019 braking was a joke ) Car Sounds : F1 2019 0 : 9 F1 2020 ( Hmmm its easy F1 2020 ) Graphics : EQUAL ( Its very hard to say which game has a better graphics ) So i dont want to compare them. A.I. Attacking : F1 2019 1 : 9 F1 2020 ( Yes the only Win for F1 2019 are more overtakes from A.I., maybe its not true but i feel that i saw more overtakes in F1 2019) A.I. Defending : F1 2019 1 : 10 F1 2020 ( I think its a little bit harder to Overtake A.I. in 2020, maybe because of Overtake button, its good for defending also, but it make less overtakes .. So its good and bad at the same time 🙂 ) ERS System : F1 2019 1 : 11 F1 2020 ( Haha it was horrible in F1 2019, i think everyone would say that F1 2020 is more better in ERS System ) Formula 2 : F1 2019 1 : 12 F1 2020 ( It was good also in F1 2019, but in F1 2020 its a little bit better, more traction and better braking in 2020 ) Customisation : EQUAL (In my opinion its equal, there is still no customisation for weather in Carrer Modes, no Equal Cars, Engine Failures for A.I. still no turn off option etc etc...) Multiplayer, Multiplayer League Racing : Ranked : F1 2019 Joke, F1 2020 Joke ( Common, just do like Gran Turismo Sport with better Penalty System xDDD !!! ) Unranked : EQUAL League Racing : EQUAL ( Still no option for Custom Weather ... ) So in Overall its an Easy win for F1 2020, nice work !!! My recommendation for making F1 2021 better then F1 2020 : More Customisations : Custom Weather in Career Modes A.I. Random Engine Failures ON or OFF ( After 50% wear one of the Engine Parts A.I. can got Random Engine Failure ) Human Random Engine Failures ON or OFF ( After 50% wear one of the Engine Parts Human can got Random Engine Failure ) Equal Cars in Formula 1 Grand Prix Mode ( This move will make Single Player Mode more interesting in my opinion ) Quick Races : 3 Laps, 5 Laps, 10 Laps Normal Races with Pit Stop : 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% Custom Strategy for Teammate ( Its very stupid when my teammate Pit 2x times, when 1x Pit is more faster ) A.I. Difficulty Program in Career Mode and also in Grand Prix Mode ( We must to do 3 to 5 laps and the average of those 3 to 5 laps would be our A.I. Level. You can put this program in Practice Sessions in Career Mode and also in Grand Prix Mode. ) On of your biggest problem in the game is finding the difficulty level race to race, so this program would help for us. If i forgot some comparison just write it down in the chat.

Would it be possible to make different settings for dirty air, slipstream and DRS in the options like with the damage and corner cutting. The youtuber Alex Gillon made some great videos, one being a video where he increased the dirty air and slipstream effect to make it more realistic. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHaDT97QIF4&ab_channel=AlexGillon) By making different settings it would be possible to make the guys happy who want the game to be more realistic aswell as keeping the casual gamers happy. A suggestion would be: dirty air: off, reduced, full, simulation slipstream: reduced, full, simulation DRS: reduced, full, simulation I hope that I could describe it enough. Have a nice day 🙂

Hamilton has a purple line on the halo and Bottas has a blue line on the halo. Can this be added into the game livery?

I respect your opinion but personally I cannot use voice commands. I have already memorized the path, in any case I need to watch the steering wheel because the most comfortable buttons are in use for the most used features, plus it has nothing realistic about it. Any functionality in pause menu, clearly only Single Player, would simulate the voice radio itself; as last it does not detract from those who think like you, while it gives something to those who think like me. Same for me. Waaay OP, especially compared to Hamilton's poor performance. You can see the same thing happening for many YouTubers like Aarava and others. So, it's fact.

After seeing people's comments on longer stages versus variety of stages and keeping current locations in the next Dirt Rally game, I am rather torn. I think it would be amazing to have all of the current rally locations and stages moved over to the next Dirt Rally but only if that didn't prevent us from getting at least 6 new locations and new content like we did in the previous Dirt Rally 2.0 game. I thought I saw a map someone made in the past that showed how a longer stage had to be split up into the two current parent stages that we now have in DR 2.0 because of the game engine limitations not allowing for longer stages. It would be very cool if those could be combined in the next game to give us the longer stages or played in their current form. I just don't want to mostly be driving the same stages that were in the previous games without lots of new ones to go along with them. I definitely agree with having variety within locations and that stages should not necessarily look the same just because they are at that same regional location. Saying that, it would be cool to have stages added with a different asthetic and surface types/colors/textures for current locations. Even though I want longer 25+ km stages, it's not like every location added has to have the 25+ km stages. As someone mentioned earlier WRC 9 has some longer stages at various locations and I really want to see at least a few 25+ km stages in the next game. Imagine driving the entire Finland Ouninpohja stage. That would be epic. Also, imagine if we could get advanced pace notes like in this video. That would make the next game even more epic. Hopefully any locations that are converted to the next game/engine will abandon the mandatory smoke effects for all the locations that have that. Having fog or location specific weather that actually regularly occurs at locations in real life is great though as long as you can also drive under actual clear conditions.

Busy day on here today, but just want to +1 with whoever thinks the current stages should be brought back. There's ~300km of the best rally stages that have been modelled there, and if a game with improved graphics and physics comes along I really hope we get to use them. Heck, the Finalnd stages are amazingly modelled, but I haven't once been able to enjoy them at speed in either game because of DR1's weird floaty effects and DR2's inability to run them without layering smoke from a forest fire over the top. Yes, some longer stages would be nice, but it's the number of unique KM I'm counting, not the length of each individual stage - I wouldn't complain with some longer ones, but personally I'd love DR3 to 'just' focus on expanding the existing locations with new stages to make those 'events' seem more varied; having Germany only at Baumholder, having Monte only on the Turini, Argentina only at Condor... these stages are 'special' rather than representative of their respective events so it would be great to have more 'normal' ones to intersperse them with. Just, please, no enforced fog - your stage modellers deserve better!

Hi CM, what about a new let's call it Training mode, similar to TT, but only private I would say and with some features like it follows... After choosing the track/time/weather/etc. (like TT) the player could choose how to play: - select the compound Soft - Medium - Hard - select laps number (1 or +) - select tyre wearing on/off - select starting wearing for each tyre - select the starting fuel amount - select on/off for fuel consumption - select on/off standing start This would allow a player to better simulate race pace, compare compounds, test the first lap, etc. without being in a GP/career with other cars around, retry and of course save best results like if it was a TT ranking, just made up only of player's own laps/sessions. Besides the leaderboard should allow the player to set filters about any toggle (e.g. all the compounds, or only soft, etc. + X <= tyre wearing <= Y + ...). This would be very useful for how I play this game, but of course I don't know if it may be appreciated by the most. I throw the idea there... Thank you for reading Kind regards, Nuv

Hello everyone! Time for another Riggs long post 😄 First of all, i'd like to talk a little bit about the current Car Class organization that DiRT Rally has been using. The current car class is being organized by Group, which itself is following the right rules, but it's not entirely realistic when it comes to play the game. I believe the current car grouping method should be changed for DR3, to allow for a better balancing among classes, specially the older classes, because we are seeing the impossibility of mixing some cars that raced together, just because it's on another group. The blatant example is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI, that feels completely out of context, despite being in the right Group of cars, since it is a Group A. Context-wise, the Evo VI is a lot more a 2000cc rally car than a Group A in DR2.0, because despite being a Group A vehicle (the last Group A vehicle to live), it was racing with the new-gen WRC cars, such as the Impreza S4, Ford Focus, even the Impreza 2001 during half of that season, the 206, the Corolla and the Xsara, not to mention Skoda, SEAT and Hyundai. And to be honest, we could re-arrange this grouping method in a way that would rather benefit more than prejudice, as the game would not only appear to have more cars, as well as classes would make a lot more sense and be more balanced. For example, the Lancia Delta crushes the Group A, it has last raced in '93, and it is competing with cars from 1995+, completely obliterating them unrealisticly. I'm not sure if the Lancia overpower is actually realistic, as real reports show the Lancia Delta Integrale having difficulties to keep up with the upcoming cars like the Celica, the Lancer Evo III (let alone Evo VI) and the Impreza, despite having 80 more bhp. So i think the current Lancia performance stats is unrealistic for Group A, and basically renders the other cars in the group useless. One of the groups I would love to see would be a 1998-2002 group, in which all of these cars lived and raced together throughout these years, and then we could finally have the Lancer Evo VI race with their colleagues, which in my opinion is one of the biggest setbacks in DR2, as we can't even get over this limitation with Clubs not allowing class or car mixing. Why end it in 2002? Because during the after 2002, cars began upgrading to their next successor, some manufacturers left and WRC began a slow downfall, and also some regulations and suspension technology were put in practice. That's where the 2003-2006 class is born, in which we already have the Skoda Fabia 2005. This also means some cars may appear in more than one class (Red 206 and Xsara for example). Anyway, assuming we do not lose any of the 'main cars' in the game, you can already predict what cars I want in-game, but here they come nonetheless Rather than ask for any car, I'm going to suggest cars that aim to fill a gap in the current DR2 car portfolio scenario. Citroen Xsara WRC This car would be available to pick in the 1998-2002 Class, as well as in a possible and eventual 2003-2006 class (to match with the Skoda 2005, the Solberg's Impreza 2003, etc). Wearing a full red Total livery (2001-2002), and then adding the Telefonica blue colors in 2003. While it would be ideal to have both liveries, we know Total is a present brand in current DR2, so it might be easier to just keep the Total one and the car looks great in it. I'd just love to see the car in the game to join the others. My second pick goes to the Toyota Corolla WRC I know, it's a Toyota. But it's about time 'we' try to settle the Toyota ghost. There seems to exist a little bit more flexibility towards Toyota letting their cars appear in games, so definitely a good moment to try, specially now that DR2 has proved to make a good reproduction of cars. This car is the missing piece between the Impreza S4 and the Lancer VI, a perfect addition for the 1998-2002 class. This ends my 1998-2002 suggestion list, as I consider the Xsara and the Corolla enough effort to get into the game as they are historic valuable cars in the WRC. I'd like to have the other 2000cc cars such as the SEAT Cordoba Evo 2, the Hyundai Accent Evo 2 and the bathtub Skoda Octavia Evo 2, as they have indeed participated in this golden era of rally. But I assume everyone would rather play with the more successful cars and leave these ones in the dust, like it has been happening with some of the cars in other classes. It is unclear whether or not these 3 cars were worse performers due to their lack of power, handling, or simply due to lack of pilot skill. It is important to balance all the cars and keep all the cars true to their spirit, otherwise we end up having a Lancia Integrale situation once again. Group A Toyota Celica GT4 In order to reinforce Group A and give the Lancia Delta a proper rival, this car needs to be in the game. So why this one and not the ST205? Because this one has covered more seasons than the ST205, mostly due to Toyota being banned in 1995 for the illegal turbo. This car also has more liveries to explore. Basically we would finally have a balanced and chronologically coeherent group with the Lancia Delta, the Toyota Celica and the current Ford Escort Cosworth in-game, not to mention the Legacy and the Impreza 555. This would round up the 1993-1995 very nicely, and if you managed to throw in an Evo III in the mix, even better. Subaru Impreza S9 (2003) Logical choice, specially now that there seems to be a lot of support and empathy from and for the Solberg family. Not only does this car look great, it drives great, everyone remembers it, but also our beloved Petter Solberg was champion it, co-drived by the DR2.0 co-driver Phil Mills. I seriously thought this car was going to make it into the game at some point, given the logic. But sometimes logic isn't everything. Perhaps DR3 is the best game for this car to appear. This was the only car capable to dethrone Sebastien Loeb's Xsara, and even then Citroen won the manufacturers that year. This car would make a lot of sense in the 2003-2006 group i suggested above, to compete with the Xsara, Red 206, Ford Focus (in case you guys have any means of adding another variation of it) and the Skoda Fabia 2005. Peugeot 307 WRC I know a lot of people don't like this car. Me being one of them. This is the car that sent Peugeot down the toilet, just like the Evo VII sent Mitsubishi down the toilet, not to mention this car is often remembered because of that unfortunate accident in 2005. However, despite all of the gearbox and power steering problems, this car was faster than the 206 (a lot), and it is a car that races against the Impreza S9+, the Fabia 2005 and the Xsara. Launched in 2004 after Peugeot saw their 206 not being able to keep up with the competition in 2003, this car would fill a gap in the 2003-2006 group. This is a logical car to fill a gap, but I wouldn't risk losing the ability to get one of the cars above just in order to get this one. Play with the budget. And with that, you guessed it right: Mitsubishi Lancer WRC It's perhaps the Lancer I hate the most, not just because of not being able to give a proper competition to the other cars, but also because the designer didn't really know a worse place to put that rear wing. However, this car made its appearance after a sabatical year in 2004 with the 307, and it raced up until 2005. Given its historical importance, it makes sense to get added in case the 2003-2006 group is to be. Last, but not least, we finally have the 2007-2010 class. We already have the cars of this class in the game, the Mk2 Focus and the C4. It would be awesome if we could see current in-game car variations such as the Evo V, Focus 1999, Focus 2003-2005, and the Escort WRC, but i'm almost sure the manufacturers will ask for a similar price like if it was a new car.

This is absolutely the most unrealistic thing I have EVER Heard. Not trying to be mean but that is absolutely ridiculous. Take the time to memorize where each setting is so all you need to remember is how many clicks or button presses to get to the setting you need. We as well as F1 Drivers have voice command which is as real as it gets, anything other than that is quality of life for the game. Adding a pause menu in race settings screen would absolutely ruin the experience for anyone who takes this game seriously. Add a shortcut on your wheel for the pit screen, there are only what 4 settings in that screen and memorize which ones you might need to change. Get rid of one of your shortcuts or keybinds and bind the voice command option, everything you need can be done through voice command including changing tyre type, when to pit etc. You need voice command either way in case of strategy changes mid race!
