Btw frontier gets the licence for the future...and this will be not a racing game, a manager game instead. Proof me that I'm wrong.
I was asking if we'd know for sure, nothing else 🙂
Hutch and Frontier are competing against each other I believe?

You sold licenses for a buzzer and that's it. What about F1 image and the young drivers like MAx or Lando, who are Marketing Machines?
Licenses should not be exclusive, this kills the competition.Do we know that the license is exclusive? Currently at least 3 companies have had the license for F1 likeness in the last few years. Codemasters, Hutch and Frontier Developments.

I don't think it matters at all if a Community Manager is working on a Sunday or not. Most won't be able to guess the cause of the issue either. Especially as you'll then say "I don't want to hear your standard PR rubbish, I want an honest answer."
I'd say apologizing would've been done by the esports guys in this case.
5 hours ago, AoiAsahina said:Codemasters, why are these issues present considering they were present 9 years ago since F1 2010, and have been gradually getting worse and worse since?
I don't think you can claim this to be the same issue as what was nine years ago just because it causes the same result.

It may already have been said in the post, but have you tried multiple software that have their own code for getting the data?
Also @Hoo

Well I was able to do so in AC, iRacing, rF2, rF1, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and BeamNG.drve I believe.
I've said this before. Just add a possibility to bind neutral to some key in which case you cannot downshift to it anymore.

The most realistics racing sims are assetto and iracing to my knowledge (haven't played the latter). Vanilla Assetto is tarmac only and it beats all sims I played in this respect. When it comes to gravel/tarmac mix, I love how Project Cars 2 rallycross handles. I wish there were rally stages in this game. Feels much more realistic than DR2, assuming you got your wheel and ffb settings right.
No love for rF2... 😁
Honestly not many of us actually know what an actual simulator feels like, as they tend to not be sold for us. One of the most used simulators in racing and etc. seems to be rFpro and we have no way to even try what it feels like etc.
The feeling of realism also depends on the content, so the actual code could be imitating real life as closely as possible for a piece of software that should run on potatoes. It could just be that the other parts of the game, such as handling/tire models are not as realistic.

Not really? It's a nail in the coffin the same way as not releasing anything would be... so we just wait when some team picks it up the next time, if they ever do.
We got multiple Operation Flashpoint games as well for example and both of those games got more negative feedback than GRID 2019 as far as I know. We even have Bodycount from the same studio.

No bump at suzuka, AI that really makes mistakes and crashes. Player cars that can have engine/technical failures, Full telemetry will be added like in GP4. Again who cares about the realistic car peformance. RELEASE THIS GAME
Besides this i just read the news that f1 2020 will contain all the 22 original planned tracks. Codemasters will not change the calender.
What kinds of news have you been reading!? 😁

20 minutes ago, 2Pacalypse said:if you go to the pits in the 1st or 2nd lap with front wing damage and not changing your tyres like all of you suggested, guess what?! you will still have a pit stop during that race to have 2 different compounds (F1 rule!!!) and thats not an additional stop!!!
This topic is non sense....
I don't think this is the potential problem that could happen. Technically you could go to pits so many times that you'd not want to change tires as there are only worn tires left after all

I'm sure someone is thinking about at Codemasters, but I doubt it'll be done this year at least.

It'd be nice to hear you explanation on how it is faster, and how have you noticed it. As I currently can't see how losing the possibility of using downshifting/upshifting as your advantage in terms of car control would make you quicker.
You make claims with no testing or proof that has been shown to us at least. It makes me scared about people who will read this and instantly think it's true instead of trying it out... 😅

This just reminds me of a trip I was on once. I couldn't really sleep as we were on a boat without a room or whatever (can't really bother to google). When I eventually got home I fell asleep almost immeadiately and slept for around 20 hours. Was really weird waking up the next morning realising that I'm still dressed like I was in public.
Somehow I didn't get cold during that night of sleeping on top of the bedsheet 😁

Looking forward to it 🙂This is quite funny to me considering what we talked about in Discord PMs once!
You have a tough teammate but don't worry! Barry and I will totally keep you guys from winning as long as we can solve the "spinning around every race" issue 😁 At least we are in a Ferrari...
Great to have you onboard!

Just now, BarryBL said:@UP100, pick the constructor you want for us.
Considering that basically everything about us is red, maybe Ferrari? 😁
If you have something in mind, then please do tell. I don't really have any preference, so I just threw something out there!

Hey! I've moved this to the right subforum for you 🙂
Could you take a look at this readme thread and edit the thread accordingly?

8 minutes ago, Bicarda said:Lol it happens often enough... In the past they even used to only change the fronts or the rears and leave the other 2 (that's obvs not allowed anymore)
But yes it happens. Just not every race. but that is no reason to then don't give us the option.
ANd also make this game more like real life then, if you guys want to keep comparing. irl they can OBVIOUSLY do this.I can't recall a pit stop in the 2010s of F1 that would've had a front wing change, but not a tire change, so you could give me an example 😁
Codemasters, enough is enough...

Ding ding ding! 🙂
The announcement states "for exclusive video game rights for the FIA Formula One World Championship ("F1") franchise from 2021 until 2025"
Though I wonder what are the rights the manager games have 🤔
