  1. I often compete in the Solberg and Official club championships with my mates and like to compare stages times with my friends and see where they rank. i find it annoying this isn’t in the game and have to go to the website each time. Why isn’t it in the game? Why does it not show where my friends are ranked on the leaderboard when I toggle the leaderboard in the game to see my friends. A couple feature too in the solberg challenge when toggling to see friends would be the ability to see the solbergs times rather than having to manually find them.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

Really excited for this. Going to be great.
  3. Minor request but currently when on a night stage it seems if you smash out additional night lamps it has little impact to what you see. the same if you have one headlight left. The lightbeam appears the same as if two are working. Would be cool to see the effect of smashed lights affect what you see more.

    Something is coming closer...

I’d like Safari but would be happy with more stages on the existing countries.

    Something is coming closer...

Maybe Toyota is back in the series and it’s the Celica, Corolla etc.

    Something is coming closer...

    Don’t buy it then.

    Something is coming closer...

Dynamic weather is one of WRC 8’s best features along with an actual career mode.

    Agree 100%.

I’d just like a better career mode. It’s just so bare bones as it is and doesn’t feel like the team actually does anything.

DiRTy Gossip about WRC 8 and WRC 9

WRC 8 may not be perfect in damage but neither is DR 2.0. A step backwards actually I think. Really I don’t feel DR 2.0 damage is great compared to DR or even past games in the DIrt series. Cosmetic damage only seems to get a point and nothing further happens. No more ripping a tyre off and driving a stage on three wheels, hitting something and flipping 10 times in the air. Why can’t I destroy the car down to the roll cage. Also in DR you really had to manage the car if you had radiator damage, brakes etc. Seems the cars can take more damage in this area now.

    Favourite/Least favourite rallies?

New Zealand favourite easily. As a Kiwi it’s so accurate on our rally roads and just fun on the cambered fast sweeping corners. Spain least favourite. Just find it boring.

It’s looking good in my opinion.Would like to see what damage is like. I feel that damage has gone backwards in DR 2.0 from DR.

DiRTy Gossip about WRC 8 and WRC 9

At least WRC 8 has a career and some form of progression. DR 2.0 has disappointed me with the lack of of any progression, unlocks, sense of actually achieving anything. RX for example. The first race differs nothing to the final. I love DR 2.0. The stages, physics etc etc but career is bare bones.
  14. Forget about the cars. Add some life to the career mode. It’s bare bones, lifeless with no sense of progress of achievement. You make the finals and it’s copy paste from the last races. Not limited to rx since rally is the same.

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games

From someone still waiting for my copy... Yeah tarmac wasn’t too much of an issue for me in DR1. I usually prefer gravel but loved Germany in DR1. Had no issues with the handling but maybe that’s just me. I agree about career. I was concerned before release very little was being spoken about that. Won’t stop me enjoying it but would have been nice to have progression since I felt the engineers aspect in DR1 really didn’t do much. Maybe online improvements could add to this given the recent partnership Codies announced with motorsport network. For example in GT Sport I pretty much ignored the offline content since the online stuff was good. Stages. Agree but I guess DLC will expand things a lot. All in all though if we play it and buy the dlc there is more reason for codies to release season 3 or more and grow it more. Can’t wait to get it
