What does the 'Special' key do?

Hi, where can I find description/explanation for possible uses of some key bindings, like 'Special', 'Extra Action 1', etc? (sorry, not too familiar yet, but really good to have the extra options).

So maybe there is something going on with that.
Right, I also had issues steering on track, as my xbox controller stick was interfering, so I 'disabled' it in controls. I need it connected though as I use it for navigating the menus, which I find much easier.

Installation has 3 versions (ie. Manual, Automatic, Random). What's the difference between them, or Manual vs Automatic?

So is differential at lower 50% considered closer to 'locked', tending more to less oversteer?
Also, while at it, can you pls clarify the Brake Bias setting. In-game it says 'Front Bias 70-50% Rear', which values lead to higher front bias? Then obviously the reverse would be towards rear. Thanks.
