I think that if you can get within 1-2 seconds of the top times of time trial that are legit, then you can race from 100 ai difficulty above. I have been always 1-1.5 seconds off the F1 esports drivers and I race at 105 difficulty.

Just Tiametmarduk style corner cut on them. Damn, they really made it so that you have to drive like a race in My Team. I corner cut the last corner against the first placed car in Russia, and still won with only a warning.

Multiplayer car v equal performance car v grand Prix car
Krisperfectline replied to Sikazmuk's topic in F1 Chat
I have a clarification on this. After driving the Mercedes and the multiplayer car in time trial, it felt like they could achieve similar lap times, but the multiplayer car is a lot easier to drive. It seemes less prone to sliding compared to the Mercedes. Anyone feeling the same? I have tried searching for confirmation that the multiplayer car is exactly the same as the Mercedes, but with a different livery, but I can’t seem to find that evidence. Note: I have always driven the Mercedes in GP mode. -
I think Red Flag needs to be implemented when there is at least a crash of 3 cars or more. At least give it a 60% for it to come out.
-
I just wonder though. Do you get more tyre wear with TC on or off? If you get less tyre wear with TC on, it could be a decent trade off for laptime. I’d assume that you get less with TC on due to the control of power on the rear wheels.
-
I’d say this is just the Traction Control assist. With TC on, I lose at least 2 tenths in most corner exits in comparison to my laps done with TC off.
-
I am interested in this. I think their engine and drag will be drastically nerfed. I am not sure about their chassis or aero downforce. I think their tyre wear must be nerfed, but not sure about aero and weight performance. This will be quite tough to be honest.

I am hoping for either a livery or a pose or a podium emote. I hope they got something good. I wanna spend my pitcoins on something nice. I just wish we could earn pitcoins without using real money since I have the 70th edition... Here in my country, they only sell that edition.

I just had the Russia in the 2006 Renault. I could not catch 1st place. But when I did, I just decided to do a massive Tiametmarduk style of last corner cutting, and I won the race with just a warning HAHAHAHAH. If the events will require us to drive like a normal career mode race, then at least give us a chance to setup the car.

I think drivers disagree that Singapore is boring.... from a driver’s perspective. I enjoy driving there. Just give us cars that can follow better. Oh... and not to mention... Pirelli tyres that stink. Hanoi can be fun for driving as well. We just have to wait for next year...

Why is so much fuel burned up when entering the pits?
Krisperfectline replied to Ryne's topic in F1 Chat
I always drop the fuel to lean whenever I pit, and I do notice that it takes out almost 0.10 of fuel very quickly. This has already been in F1 2019. I just thought it was normal due to the car in 1st gear all the time in the pitlane. -
Turning points are the only slightest challenge. But braking zones are fine as long as there are meter boards around. Otherwise, I’ll have to base my braking based on the sound of the car.
-
I use default cockpit camera with halo. I have not bothered to change the settings. It seems very easy to drive on them, and I play on a pad with no assists.
-
Whoops. Yea. I posted it on the wrong thread. I should have posted this on the other thread about the podium pass.
-
I tried to enter the podium pass on the Ps4, and it said that from now, it will take 6 days until it is released. Therefore, on September 16? Is this correct?

What purpose does the radio "Car Status" even have?
Krisperfectline replied to Miguel0701's topic in F1 Chat
This is ridiculous. I see my front wing is light green or yellow green, and I ask Jeff for vehicle condition. My results: Jeff: No tyre concerns at the moment. Just focus on the driving. Me: Jeff, my wing is gone.... I mean seriously. Vehicle condition information request only gives me information about tyres? -
I have focused heavily on durability for the first part of the season. Before Spain, I already had 11 durability upgrades. Now, I am at Russia in a 22 race season, and I have taken a 60 place penalty at Belgium for the 4th and 3rd components. Now, I can finish the season without any worries in terms of durability. Whenever a part reaches 50%, I immediately replace those for qualifying and the race. Then, those with 50% or higher are used during practice sessions until they reach 80-90%. Which part went yellow? If it’s Turbo Charger, then that is the worst part for me personally. Whenever a TC is yellow, I feel like I really need to replace it straight away.
-
Is it worth rushing developments? I have 39% failure for the chassis upgrades when I rush. I am at the Russian Gp in first season, and I was thinking of getting an upgrade for the Japanese Gp. But I think I should pass on it, as the normal development has a 14% chance of failure.

I believe Bottas had some bad luck last season, but still way off Hamilton in race pace and racecraft. In Monaco, he was sent out in traffic in qualifying during his last run. In Britain, a safety car was called out, allowing Hamilton a free pit stop. In Hungary, he was hit on lap 1 by Leclerc, sending him to the back, and the need for a pit stop early in the race. In Singapore, Mercedes made a mistake in the pit stops, asking him to drop back to give Hamilton a chance to still attack for the win. In Brazil, his engine blew up and had to take extra components, forcing him to start at the back of the grid in Abu Dhabi. So yes, I still do not believe he would have won 2019 without all those situations. Hamilton has just been insane in race pace since 2017. Mercedes give them equal equipment and treatment, provided that they are the only ones leading without any threat from behind. However this year, Bottas has been bulljiving and costing Mercedes 1-2’s. He already cost them in Hungary, Spain and now Italy. As a Mercedes fan, it has been really frustrating. I mean... last race, Mercedes were clearly the class of the field, and he reacted so slowly to the lights at the start. Then his pace... Unless he had damage, that was just the worst performance of him I have ever seen. Your teammate has just gotten a 35 second penalty just after a restart, and he finished two places behind you, and 10 seconds behind? Within less than 30 laps? Man... if this race was 10 laps longer, Hamilton could have finished just behind him or maybe even overtaken him. Hamilton’s fastest lap was 1.1 seconds quicker than anyone on hard tyres, and on lap 34. Let that sink in. Unless he had damage, which I suspect he did, because we need to wait until today for Mercedes in the pure pit wall, that was bulljiving at maximum.
-
I have been really upset whenever this happens. Is this really damage or not? I have received this a few times, and I think it is damage because I feel the slight loss of downforce.
-
I wonder how could they put our retirements in the game? We can’t have brake failures... Power unit issues? Maybe increase the chance of a component failing when it reaches 60%? I normally switch to another component when I have 50% wear on that specific component, and I start using the 50% component in practice and switching it out during qualifying. I watched Tiametmarduk’s career in season 2 at Austria, and it was seriously funny as hell. Control electronics survived even if if was at 90 something percent hahaha
-
I got only Powertrain reset for season 2. Luckily, I only have 4 upgrades in that department. The great thing about r and d reset, is that you can choose the upgrades you want to make your car as suitable to you as you want.
-
And this is another data we could use in order for us to get better setups...
-
Low downforce setups, if you can handle them, are just OP in this game against the ai in career and in my team...
-
Interesting. I play on a pad. This could be the reason why I find Tom97 and Trl limitless setups an issue for me. They both give me very stiff and understeery setups. I am always forced to soften the anti roll bars if I used their setups. It’s always the roll bars I need to change. I still feel no input lag when using both cameras, but I am just better on cockpit camera.
