  1. I think it would be really really cool to get a real dash as the HUD. A trip is a nice Rallystic touch, not a crappy odometer to see how many km your car has
I cant figure it out which car it is, is that an Escort WRC?

So that's how that DS3 R3 ended up in that ditch! I was wondering how that had happened while watching WRC-All Live. What car were you running?
Same. Looked like a pretty silly accident to be honest.  :'(
We had been going slow because the car was damaged. We’re not sure if they had been stuck behind us for a little while and they might have been frustrated. But I think we would have noticed if they had been behind us for a long time
Do rally cars remove the horns? Otherwise here the custom is to give a little "love tap" from the back.

So on Friday of Rally GB our suspension completely collapsed at the front due to how rough stage 3 was. Towards the end we got caught by a DS3 R3, and this is what happens (contains some swearing)

Well, that's... peculiar. Gutted for your problems with the suspension, but at the very least WRC TV didn't film you while stuck in a ditch like that DS3 guy...
I feel like there was an episode of Top Gear where Jeremy talks about who to watch out for on the roads so they don't crash into you. Pretty sure Citroen was up there.
Rally cars have Horn, they are mandatory

So are you guys who were contacted to provide feedback still actively participating in the process, or was it a one-and-done kind of deal? Also, what was the criteria for being selected? I sure would've liked a chance to offer feedback as well.

They asked for beta testers on the forum about a year ago
I must have missed it, damn. I remember some of you from when we were discussing physics, and I was impressed with your knowledge back then, so I trust you will help push things in right direction!
    I missed it too :(
I think it must have been in some kind of closed-off forum section for VIPs since I'm lurking regularly and didn't see it anywhere - there was only a sign up for F1 beta.
Yep, I have been in F1 Beta and it was in a VIP section also, I hope beta testing in DR2.0 gets bigger and @SamRWD and me can get into it  :)

Myself think the best game is dirt rally , even hardcore etc, but the physics there top . There was a hope that will continue and judging by the video this is the same slag and dirt 4 ! On YouTube posted the gameplay of the rally cross with a view from 3 persons, and then the fears were confirmed . Look at the wretched work of the suspension!!! Machine as wood , especially when landing , do not have that smoothness that was . It looks like squalor and crafts like wrc. Disappointed to say the least ...

The entire "gravity" setting in Dirt Rally was way off. Granted it gave us some really nice oversteering capability, but on bumpy rally and rallycross roads, if you keep "going light" and losing control of the car over every small bump, its very difficult to enjoy the game.

So even though Dirt 4 was a mixed bag, I really couldn't go back the other worldly gravity of Dirt Rally. Dirt Rally had a LOT to improve in the physics, and I think most of it is being addressed in the footage we are seeing so far of 2.0
Another cool touch would be an audible breath from Phil in between calls, pilots and drivers alike usually work with high hart BPM, so they breath heavily and you can often hear it on onboards.
Awesome idea, in warmer rallies more than in colder ones lol
Wait, actually wasn't it Peter and Phil who were driving some hot rally with heat blower on? I am not sure if it was a malfunction, or they used it to cool engine, or something? Will look it up later!
It is used to cool the engine!!

Regarding the “no snow stages” comments, perhaps the USA stages will be in Alaska?
Quite sure we will get Sweden as DLC also Germany, Finland, Wales, Greece and Monte Carlo
Thats some confidence considering there was absolutely 0 actual info to go off :P
In addition there will also be a DiRT Rally 2.0 Deluxe Edition which also includes the first two seasons of post-launch additional content, each with three locations.
Dirt Rally Locations are done and perfect, so why dont use them, it is Quite logical

Unless it is still problematic to include those stages as they are a carbon copy(oh well) of the real ones used in the WRC with possible legal trouble ahead.
    No Ouninpohja this year
