That would be so sick if they got Block at M-Sport! Block, Tanak, and Ogier/Suninen would be so awesome!

If block goes to WRC he Will do some rallys not all the championship, Ogier, Tanak and Suninen or Evans will be in the team, maybe Evans Dmack car Will not take part from the Factory team and Suninen will be in the third car
Block is a great competitor here in the US, but doesn't stand a chance seriously competing in WRC.
I know but he can do what he wants, and I didnt said he was competitive

They should do a second snow rally in Canada or northern usa. Do it after Sweden and go to Mexico after.
It is the same, the Cars go back to HQ after a Rally, so if Rally México follows or not a Northern American Rally is the same ;) .
I think Rally México could be replaced with a Rally in USA or Canada, and it also could attract Ford to finally back M-Sport
Why don't Ford back M-Sport already? Seems like the thing to do I mean M-Sport is leading the championship by a good margin.
There is official Ford backing for M-Sport for the R2, R5 and rallycross cars, just not for the WRC programme. It's a hell of an investment and, with the decline in interest a few years ago, I can see why Ford tightened the purse strings...

...the Championship is getting so much attention this year though, it would see a good time for them to start supporting the upper tier of rallying again!
R2 and R5? I didnt see any factory R2 or R5, R5 "Factory" Fiesta's are M-Sport, like Tanak's car. And R2 are backed by drivers.

Individual entries aren't backed, but the development of the R2 and R5 Fiesta is financially supported by Ford. The Focus RS RX developed for Hoonigan Racing is an officially back Ford effort.
The RX yes, but the R5 and R2 it is all M-Sport job, Ford can help like in the WRC car, like a techincal partner, using their engine dynos and Chambers for testing, but the cars are built and developed by M-Sport

Around the 6:06:07 mark in this Project CARS 2 live-stream, SMS CEO Ian Bell says:

"...I think we're going to split the franchise and start making the world's best loose racing game, as in rally, as in rallycross, as in loose surface..."

    Look out, DiRT.

That's epic. Maybe if they supported mods it would be even better, but maybe they will allow mods in a new franchise, and even if they don't they never promised they will not do anything to prevent a game from being modded only to ban people with modded textures. I am looking forward to see what comes.
Some people managed to make some mods for PC1

I would really like to see a good competitor for DiRT series, it would be a fierce competition, not like the ones it has now, a game that 2016 WRC are faster in some stages than 2017 WRC.
Really can't wait to see a new Rally Game, Milestone and Kylotton showed what they can, Codemasters also.

I must say from the videos this looks really, really promising! And when watching these videos... the stages make the most difference. I really love the generated approach from d4 ... but the handmade stages beat your stage.

Honestly its the same with Dirt Rally and D4. I played DR for 600 hours and only then driving the same stages got repetetive - the d4 ones kinda feel this way now :/ ... After 60 hours or so.
I would like both, Career with real stages, and also your stage using the tiles of the stages, imagine if you put in a single game every Stage of SLRE, WRC 7, DiRT Rally and DiRT 4 and also make tiles of them, it would be infinite gaming LOL

  9. I doubt any move from Eric Veiby drivers to M-Sport Ir looks pretty impossible, Pontus Tidemand when he joined Even Management, only did one rally with M-Sport, then moved to Skoda, so I think Veiby and Wilson have a "bad relationship". Evans should be safe, the only way he might leave is because Tanak and Ogier are contracted and M-Sport want some money and "sells" Elfyn to other team to get some money, and Suninen climbs to a WRC '17.
I am pretty sure that MSport Will have 2 drivers of this year+Suninen
The worst scenario Will be if Toyota and Citroen gives Multimillionaire contract to Tanak and Ogier, M-Sport Will go with Evans, Suninen and any young driver. But M-Sport is tanak's and Evans home, lots of money invested in those two drivers, Wilson Will not let them go easy

  10. M sport will struggle if they lose both tanak and Ogier. Even more so if the Evans and Toyota rumours are true.
It is impossible that all 3 drivers goes to another team, they don't have place to go, just one place in Toyota and one place in Citroen.
Also MW said that he will retain 2 of his drivers, also Tanak and Evans has contract for the next season in M-Sport, so other teams would need to pay to end the contract, everyone is far too pessimistic with M-Sport

  11. The stages looks good, Imagine how many tiles you can make if you export those stages to D4, or DR with those stages, I am not convinced about the physics and they codriver (I hope some mods appear to change that voice) and also the rims are weird, doesnt look like at scale, or something is weird about them, every WRC of Kylotton has weird rims

  12. Hello guys, I need a favor, if anyone who has Facebook and read this can help me with a Like in my Rallying page, I update it with pictures and results of my rallying weekends (well I started the page yesterday so, not too much info now) Here is the link, Thanks :)
    https://www.facebook.com/MaisonnaveRally/
Oh I was going to forget about it, If you put like on my page the clubs update will come with a physics patch :p

  13. MW has a meeting with Ford later this month, so everyone who says, Ford Will give no money to M-SPORT can shut up and wait, that is why Ogier is waiting until Rally Spain to decide, because of this meeting, If Ford backs M-Sport he stays 100% sure, if Ford doesnt, he may stay because going to Citroen after this year with such a bad car, that has make people believe Kris Meeke is a dumb ass that loves crashing, he crash because he wants to do what it is impossible, Battle for the win, the same happened to Tanak in the past when the old Fiesta was a garbage, he crashed a lot.
So, it depends on how is the offer that Citroen gives to Ogier, I think that Ogier and Wilson are acting a bit to put pressure in Ford, Ogier is too confortable in M-Sport and Red Bull paid the development of the car this year, so why would he go to another team? Money.
Also, Wilson is super happy with all the other drivers he have and is super confident they can do an awesome job, so putting all the money to contract Ogier wouldnt be neccesary if Tanak keeps this rythm, Evans is going as well as Ott but the DMacks doesnt show that, and Suninen is the next star of WRC, also he has Camilli, Loubet, Greensmith, Solans, Rovampera and many more

I cant remember if all the Escort Gr. A has that number plate, or the colours of a flag has been added as a clue, Italy? México? In the number plate I can see nothing, Mobil 1 is the Main sponsor of the Chilean Rally championship, they have Nice roads but I don't think Codies Will look in them for a location

Which number plate are you talking about?
The number 5 that the car has in the Twitter pic

  15. I think that it must be Safari Rally or Malaysia like DiRT 2? Here in Argentina is still really cold, I cant remember if all the Escort Gr. A has that number plate, or the colours of a flag has been added as a clue, Italy? México? In the number plate I can see nothing, Mobil 1 is the Main sponsor of the Chilean Rally championship, they have Nice roads but I don't think Codies Will look in them for a location
Edit: Safari Rally Even won a poll in the suggestion box, and by a big margin, I hope we get some new content  :)

I think it would be cool to get a round of the WRC over here in the states. About Meeke though I think we will still see him next year. There is no way a huge player in the sport will just leave the championship.
I'm surprised there's little to no talk about this. I think a round in the US could be really beneficial, as there is a lot of money there and not a lot of coverage. It could really help break the sport into a new market
I wonder why? I think Oregon, Michigan, or Washington would be great venues for the WRC. It would be really exciting to see those cars come over here. I wish more motorsports in general would have a round in the US. Same with World RX, I wish they had a round here as well.
When the addition of a fourteenth event was first floated a couple years ago, Canada was an idea for a second snow rally (as well as Japan). A WRC round in Québec or Ontario could attract a lot of American and Canadian teams who can't make it to Mexico.
Which leads me into another question. Why is the WRC calendar so short? They have plenty of room to expand into the Americas and Asia. So why don't they?
It is a really long calendar, one more rally could be possible, but I think the only Racing series that has more rounds than WRC is F1, am I right? WTCC, GP2, WEC, WRX, FE, Cross Country, I mean World Championships, not national because the logistics cost are significant lower, like NASCAR, I would remove México from the calendar and I think USA could be a good place to host a WRC round, also Chile has good roads and intentions to do a WRC Rally. Safari rally is impossible but this new generation Cars, with the external roll cage like old days safari rally would look meannnnnn
MotoGP and his lower classes Moto2 and Moto3 have 18 rounds, World SuperBike has 13 as the WRC. So yes I'd say the calendar of WRC is quite long, although for a rally fan it will never be long enough :p
Yes you are right i forgot MotoGP and SBK, but I hate motorbikes, so I mean FIA championship
