Looks like a fun little track to practice around in :D Love to see that appearing in DIRT2.0 for testing out cars!
Sorry, I am so pale haha :D -
Should see something in the near future all being well ;)Madhun1967 said:i sure hope will be school with the improved "better feel" tarmac physics that Dirt 4 had................
Speaking of which if there is no vid release of tarmac coming up before launch, then we can all guess tarmac isnt improved upon ? Hope thats not the case.
Maybe Jon can shed some light on that soon. -
warpengage said:@jonny174 Are you by any chance suggesting this little lion will come out to play in DR 2.0 ;)?P.S - Please keep the Adam. I love that angry and fast little car!
I was just saying how much I loved my little 208 R2 & rallying in general ;) . I think we need the DiRT Rally team setup again :D
Here is a video of my old 208 for you to enjoy!

I don't think we ever said we made the rear ' a bit more slippery ' What we did say is that we have focused on how the surfaces and tyres interact with each other so that the behavior and balance of the car felt more realistic from feedback and validation of real life rally drivers.kheiro said:
Codies say : we made the rear a bit more slippery. No ThanksAreyouben said:Yeah did some DiRT 4 as well this week, did 2 full 12 stage rounds in Australia and Wales in the 2l class (Subaru) and I really tried setting the rear up as loose as possible. There were some parts that flowed vere nicely, but more often I was frustrated by the sudden gain of rear end grip mid corner, with awkward & unsatisfying corner exits
Canāt wait to see how this feels in 2.0! :)
We need really good physics and measurements. -

We played today (on the DiRT Show) with the soft tyre compound on a Front Wheel Drive car (Golf GTI) which offers maximum grip. When you select a harder compound in game the car with move around more and you will have less traction on acceleration and braking. Personally I enjoy putting on a set of hard tyres and adjusting the setup slightly to make the rear dance around more. We are looking forward to showing you guys the 4wd and rwd cars, which are very exciting to drive and power slide around, stay tuned!

Must be relatively recent, as that looks like DiRT 4 branding on the back wall.gfRally said:

It looks like yes:Fedemaisonnave said:Also this post, same type of wood and says Southam, which is the place where dirt studios are based
For those who know, this is quite humbling that it is still there!
I'm gonna steal it for my bedroom ;)
