@Mike5500 During one of our 2019 GP events I had a glitch where as I was about to lap a guy with a really bad internet connection and I believe he was the host. He was in second place but as I passed him to put him a lap down too, he rage quit. The game went crazy for a split second as he quit and the next guy became the host. I ended up gaining like 5 or 10 seconds on the lap time for that one lap. When I went to look at the lap times after the event I noticed that that one lap the timing was better by this 5 or 10 seconds. All the rest of my lap times were about the same, except for my first lap and my in and out laps from pits. That lap must have errored and caused me to gain time during the host transfer. My point here being, not everyone we see with these amazing times is cheating. They may had just gotten lucky and had the same thing that happened to me happen to them. Now, I also agree with you that CM should be policing the results to look for anomalies. As you know I work hard to be in the top 5% every week, just as you do and hate seeing these unrealistic scores. Also, I voided that event score because I knew it to be inaccurate and reran the next event. I know not everyone in the world feels the way I do and probably would have let the inaccurate score stand.

@doooooood What version of the game are you talking about? 2020 or 2019? If you are talking about 2020, you are in the wrong forum. This forum is for the 2019 version of the game and you must go to the "F1 2020" forum and then repost your bug report. I only say this because you say above that you are playing version "1.05" and that just came out this week for 2020 version. "1.05" for the 2019 game came out probably over a year ago. @Rango i have the same issue trying to log on through my PS4. I asked a buddy of mine & he also can’t log on with his PS4. We believe it’s something CM has to fix. If you have the time could you fill out a bug report? I’m at work & want to do it through my laptop & not my phone.

I know this but I liked it the way it was. I could see in better in 2019. To me it's farther down to the right and harder to see. I could find the sweet spot and hold it much better in 2019. I'm sorry, I just really preferred the 2019 version. All I'm asking is for us to have an option for what version we use.

@BarryBL I might have this wrong and just have not found in in the settings but could you please bring back the green line the circled the gear indication (in tv pod viewing mode) that you are in that gave us an indication of our throttle position? If it's something that's in F1 2020 and I just have to enable it, where is it? I relied on this to make sure I had a good start off the line and miss it dearly.

@BarryBL Please also see about turning the "pit assist" off during weekly event races. We should not be able to hit the pit lane line at full speed and the car go from full speed to pit lane speed in zero distance. I never turn this on cause I feel we should be held accountable for how we enter the pits. People are just abusing this to make up time during the races. Please put some skill into the weekly events. I'm sure if you guys disable it, after we get a 5 second penalty for entering too fast, we all will learn to properly enter the pits. It's just so unrealistic to see a car go from 150 mph to 60mph or so in zero feet. Please make us drivers responsible for mistakes we make when entering the pits. This should be an easy one for CM to fix.

@BarryBL Could you please see if it's possible to do something about the guys who jump the starts at the beginning of the weekly event races? Too many times when starting 1st or 2nd, a jackass farther back jumps the start, ghost and get in the lead only to un-ghost then ruin the race for everyone behind them. Could you guys not just ghost them as soon as they jump the start, ghost them at a stop or standstill until a 20 or 30 second penalty timer goes up then un-ghost them in their original starting position on the grid. This way the guys who qualified and properly started don't get stuck behind these guys and get penalized due to someone else's error. Please!

@Mike5500 Thanks for the update. Please let me know what you think of the multiplayer mode. Are ranked rooms any better? Are the penalties or penalty system any better? Multiplayer car handling any better then last year? Stuck at work all day and can't play yet.

@BarryBL My next question is about getting "early access" if I "pre-order" F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher version. So if I go to Gamestop and pre-order the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher version for a hardcopy or disc (PS4), will I receive a code on my receipt to download a version on July 7th or will I be able to go to Gamestop and pick up my hardcopy/disc on that date? I'm sorry but I am old fashion and when I pay for something, I want something in my hand at the end of the day. Also, I have a very large archive of PlayStation/Xbox Games and consoles that goes back many years. When an old console goes bad, I can't replace it without losing any data I may have on HDD. I can however replace the console and use the disc or discs that I have in my archives. So again my question is, if I pay the extra $10 for F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher version for a hard copy do I still get early access or since I'm insisting on a hard copy, do I have to wait until July 10th? Gamestop list the F1 2020 Deluxe Schumacher version with a July 10th release date, same as the non-deluxe version. Sorry to bother you so much but I am starting feel the anticipation of the release of F1 2020. The $10 for three days early access is not an issue for me as I am starting to go crazy waiting for this year's version to be released.

I know this but if u read my original post I prefer not to download games but to get a hard copy/disc. I have an archives going back decades so that I can play games long after they are supported. Again, it’s just me & I understand that but we never have had this problem with any other game in the past. As far as I can remember, every other time I have purchased a hard coy thru GameStop with an early release, GameStop has honored it. This is the first time I have ever seen a developer so disconnected with the proper release date. I’m sure there has been others but this is a first for me is all I was trying to say.

If you don’t like what I’m writing or disagree with me, that is fine. Please don’t tell me what to do however. I was just stating some facts & my personal opinion. You are also intitled to your opinion. Again other developers have gotten their release properly arranged, that was my point. It is Codemasters fault that F1 2020 is not properly being released. NASCAR heat 5 & madden 2020 both avertise that if u preorder the correct version u will get 3 days early access. I have checked with GameStop & both nascar heat 5 & madden 2020 will be released on july 7th as a hard copy. However F1 2020 Schumacher edition will not be released until July 10th. 704 games & whoever makes madden did their due diligence to make sure their games are released as advertised. Codemasters have dropped the ball. I was told from codemasters that it was my fault due to the 3rd party I purchased the game through. Last time I checked it is codemasters.com advertising the 3 days early release, not getts0388.com. Codemaster should be ashamed of them selves for not making sure their release is properly preformed. Too me it’s simple laziness on their behalf. Sorry if this is too rough but it’s the truth.

@Mike5500 i did as u said & bought 2020 schumi edition thru the 2019 game. Now that it’s says it will download in 4+ days am I good to go now??? I can’t have u racing without me.

@WestHam66 reset your timing in the options screen. This should put you back at the bottom of the list.

@BarryBL I went to my local Gamestop yesterday to pre-order F1 2020 Schumacher Edition as a disc or hard copy. I asked before I purchased if I would be receiving a code on my receipt for the three days early access. The Gamestop employee could not answer my question. He said that we could only try, so I paid off the entire thing ($75). When my receipt printed NO CODE for early access. I checked again this morning on your website and it still says that if you pre-order it through Gamestop, you will receive three days early access. So why did I not receive a code? Is there anything you can do to help me? Is the only way to get the early access limited to a data download? Can we order through website as a disc/hard copy through the website? Please help me as I feel ripped off.

PS I have called three different Gamestops and gone to a different one then where I made my pre-order and still NO ANSWER!!!

@BarryBL I have called Gamestop and they will NOT answer my question on verifying that now that I have pre-ordered the F1 2020 Schumacher edition for my PS4 will I be able to pick it up on July 7th as advertised. The attached picture is from the "Codemasters" website. It clearly states that if you pre-order the Schumacher Edition, you will receive three days early access. It also clearly states that "Gamestop" is an official vendor for your game. I have followed what you have advertised but I get the feeling I'm going to need some lube because I'm going to get the shaft! It is unbelievable to me that you will advertise this, take my money, then not deliver on what you advertised. Why can't somebody from your company clear this issue up. Again it is on the "Codemasters" website and has a July 6th release date but yet Gamestop says July 10th. Please get all of us who need clarification on this a response. PLEASE!

@marioho Is it possible that you are just getting better/faster at the game and now are using more fuel. Have your lap times gone up? If so, it could be possible it's just you getting better and more out of you car?? I have given up on manual ERS and switched it to auto. Now I just try and make sure I manage my fuel and have no gas left when I cross the finish line.

Yes, I have a T3PA-PRO set of pedals and Thrustmaster just released T-LCM which is their new "Load Cell" version. I'm saving my pennies to upgrade to a Fanatec Podium F1 racing wheel and pedals. However the Thrustmaster setup I have now has not let me down and is well worth the investment I have in it. I even have a T150 in the box still as an emergency backup just in case I have issues with T-GT wheel. Therefore I don't have to wait on shipping or a Gamestop or something like that to open. The T150 and the T3PA-PRO pedals is a great starting point.

You can get a Thrustmaster T150 for about $150 and it should work on a PS5. I have a Thrustmaster T-GT and I'm not worried about it working on a PS5. I'm also pretty sure PlayStation knows that we all can't go buy new PS5's and new wheels at the same time. I would not be too worried about wheels for a PS4 working on a PS5. The T150 is a pretty cheep option for just getting started and comes with pedals. It makes a big difference when you have paddle shifters.

I stand by what I said before. Weekly events are in the multiplayer section of the game and therefore should be multiplayer. Either move the featured events to signal player or do away with them all together. Sorry but I can race against the AI anytime and Ranked rooms are dead. Then they give us back to back signal player events. Weak!!!!! I'm so disappointed.

@BarryBL Can you please let us know why the weekly events have gotten off pattern??? Any other time we have had an GP scheduled per the original F1, the weekly event has followed suit. The GP of France is scheduled for June 28 (this Sunday) but yet I am hearing that another "Featured" event is currently ongoing. I'm sorry but I so look forward to these weekends and now we are off schedule. I focus on these GP events so that I can race against other real players not the AI. "weekly events" are under "multiplayer" mode and a featured event has really nothing to do with multiplayer. Please Barry, have whomever is in charge of scheduling the events correct this weeks ASAP. PLEASE!!!!!!

If it is they are doing something different. GP of France is scheduled for June 28th and that's this Sunday. I'm sorry, I am at work and just assumed that Codemasters followed what they have been doing for the past couple years with the weekly events schedule. Which is follow the F1 schedule.
