Having dabbled in very entry-level Motorsport myself, along with a fair few rally experience days, it's actually astonishing how gripping & immersive this game can be, when compared to the real thing. It negates the financial aspect and the natural anxiety that's in the back of your mind when pushing hard and really risking crashing/breaking something that you have actually tied a lot of money up in!gheeD said:Yeah, i'd rather take a simulation game to satisfy my need of racing (both rally and circuit) than throw all of my time and money into rally hobby. -
Id love to see a DiRT Rally/DriveClub lovechild...
It could be a beautiful thing! -
Be really funny if he did his 'Im Bored, go faster' tone of voice for the whole event :pRallycameraman said:I'm sure I'll have some gossip after having Paul sat next to me all day on a rally next month ;)
Try and scare him!! :) -
Hairy stage, Crazy pace - Unreal! -
We left the final stage today once we seen Perez's Stratos - cos it sounds awesome!! :)

I'm heading to it shortly! -
Who is he, what's he do? -
PaloSamo said:Engine cooked, end of rally. Breen has shown the boys how to drive on the "best bit of Tarmac in the world" :)
The first rally I co-drove, ran the Torr Head stage (though possibly in the opposite direction). Talk about a Baptism of fire for pacenotes - lol -
Here's a live feed @thecraicbear . Elfyn seems to be out?

Won some stages (tarmac) in the 205 last night. My proudest moment with the game so far. Was feeling pretty good about my driving, so I then went and did the daily (Delta S4 in Greece)...
...clipped a bank hard and got a puncture about 30 seconds in to the stage, so I then had to crawl to the finish. Went back to feeling bad about my driving! -

The ERC 'Circuit of Ireland' rally is go in approx. 5 minutes!
With the new suite of R5 cars for the local boys ,its going to be unreal! The weather here looks changeable, I think with everyone trying hard, there will be a few caught out!
2 of the stages are literally seconds from my house, so I'll be standing in a field most of saturday! :)

Its old, its Italian, its abused & its guages dont work. I think its a pretty good representation of reality in fairness! :)RookieOne said:I dont care, its not supposed to display 70 km/H when you are going 79mph

Yeah, I cant say I ever concentrate on the Speedo when full lit! :p -
Someone needs to amalgamate the many PS4/XB1 ffb threads... :) -
Michaels League got did! Chose the A110 as had no chance to drive it before. It's fun! Rolled on both the 2nd & 3rd stages. Easily beatable!!RallyDriven said:KevM said:Cool, I now have a Platform dropdown on Racenet!
Whats the League name @RallyDriven ?
It's the inventive name of Michaels League right now. I have no idea how stuff works so its probably not a very good league! -
I was in Tesco's earlier, they seem to have plenty of Legend Editions for both platforms

I fully agree with you Bear. Watching the Circuit at the weekend was the first rally I have enjoyed in ages, with everyone in 'budget' R5 cars, they were driving the balls off them!
Even the Mk2's locally are all wrong. They are running 2.5 300+ bhp engines and 15" wheels, all set up for grip and stability. Gone are the days where a Mk2 used to arrive tail-lights first at most junctions.... :(
