Oliver is leading in his class. Kalle leads the the rally over 30s. Truth be told he doesn't have real competition here. Maybe it will be more interesting in South - Estonian rally in the end of the august.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-nTZyQngYM - the complexity of the aero still amazes me, thous black plastic tunnels came under the hood and are used for front downforce, they removed it to make the car balanced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyguJ--eT3c&feature=youtu.be - great example of the safety issues. Red tape is no go zone and it's tugged out to maximum and safety standing nearby. :/

No worries mate! I've seen enough complete retards on local rallies to know that we may have had plenty to do with the stage cancellation

I doubt it was only Estonians who acted crazy. I was on SS12 that was delayed a lot because of safe issues - too many spectators running over road thanks to the lack of safety crew. 1 dude for every 100m is clearly too few for official spectating spot :/ Also, spectating line was only on one side and safeties was ONLY on that side. there were big Estonian crowd on the other side, but they were far away from road and in good spot. Unfortunately they attracted punch of morons (from various nations) who moved closer and closer with every car. Heli brought couple safeties more, but it wasn't still enough. One of them stayed on his spot and didn't pinch an eye that 10m from him were spectators grossing the road all the time. He pretended to be on a call when some Polish dude started yelling at him. Worst spectator I saw was on ss14 - some Belgian guy stood outside of a fast bend about 1m from road O_o. Then again there were two safety guys on SS4 who were best at their job I've ever seen. S curves in the middle of the forest, about 20 spectators. We gave them couple of beers after the stages.

ehh... WHAT A RALLY ! :D I was a bit gutted after the mistake Ott made, but it went by pretty fast, better go out with a fight than settle for 2nd again. Neuville had strong rally, hats off to him. Sunninen and Veisby were big suprises and I'm glad Paddon got his podium at last, it has been a long time. The atmosphere was fantastic and thrilling to watch the battles, I hope it stays in calendar for next year, even thou spectators safety is a big issue, some people just want to get killed  Anyways, we (#goOTT) will be back stronger in Finland, see you there! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIBaRYuJTV8 btw, this song made PL people go crazy :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWv0gxGaVi0

It's everyone own opinion, but I can explain mine, 1. Tänak - who else, this is his rally 2. Evans - DMack 3. Ogier - last year he was out of the podium, because he was cleaning roads for two days, he won the event 2014 and 2015. 4. Latvala - fast gravel roads should suit him 5. Lappi - for the lulz, if he drives smart, he'll just finish the rally and benefits from others mistakes. About Neuville...well he hasn't had good rally in Poland imo, only couple of stage wins here.
-
I'll go 1-2-3 for Ford 1. Tänak 2. Evans 3. Ogier 4. Latvala 5. Lappi
-
Can't wait for Poland and Finland events. I'll be the one with blue-balck-white flag and wearing this T-Shirt :D

On my very first stage in the game, 2m from start Nicky calls out puncture :no_mouth:

The book seems to differ by the location of the rally, I know that in Poland and Finland four wheel cutting is not allowed, but seems like in some rallys it's ok. If no real time was gained, road section wasn't damaged by the cutting or was done to avoid crash (like the rock in this case) it's not penalized. And as I said, everybody cuts there.
-
Take a look at the WRC+ onboard section on SS3, Almost everybody cut's that corner because of that rock. Example Paddon, at this point co-driver calls 5L -, rock inside. Tänak at this point has in the notes something like 'jump, take absolute left' This is known rock, Breen will have the same cut next year. If anything, this shows that Breen didn't do a good homework.

there has been rumors, that Citroens budget was cut drastically and thanks to that they are using Öhlins suspension, that seems to be unreliable. BUT! Meek can be Colins reincarnation, but it doesn't change a fact that he's no.1 driver and developer who should be able to drive ON the limit of the car, not over it. 8 crashes on 7 rallies, that's clearly too much.
-
Idd, Meek has had 7 rallies and 7 crashes so far. Actually 2 in Argentina :open_mouth:
-
Citroens disastrous season continues, Mikkelsen is fastest of them all but he's well off the pace. I'm glad for Esapekka Lappi first stage win and hopefully Paddons bad luck is past now so he Tänak can have a good fight :)

Same thing happened with me in Hamra stage some time ago.

I wouldn't mind if he wins it this year. Not many have achieved it with different manufacturers. Something that makes him better than Loeb in my eyes. Loeb won three titles, 04 05 and 06, with a car that wasn't made specifically for him, like the C4 and the DS3. He even won without racing in the final four rallies. I'm well aware of that. Citroen was always most reliable or the best overall car. But it's just my opinion. Anyways, poor Paddon, he just so unlucky this year ...

is it just me or this season is more and more exciting with every rally. When Neuville get's back his lost time, the top4 will be in 5 seconds.
-
Idd, someone already mentioned him already, but give it to Jimmy - good driver, entertaining to watch and can blab while driving :)
-
they started from the same direction, one turned around in the middle of the test for some reason and collision happened. One of the co-driver is dead, other three are in hospital but not in critical condition. Why the car turned around or which one was it, is still unclear. I would guess that, one of them made a hard spin and just got lost and drive in wrong direction :(

Subaru has revived Justy model, so they have a small enough model to develop a decent R5 car imo.

Mads running on Dmack for this rally, this will be interesting. Weather seems to be try and not too hot for the whole rally, so the first day will be crucial, but DMack soft compound should be working like a charm. There's at least 3 drivers with very good starting positions who could win it and adding top4 who are fast abt - quite a bunch... I'm trying to predict but it's anyone's game really. 1. Tänak - comfortable in the car, 6th time in Portugal, 3 times on podium for this year this is and one of his favorite rallys. 2. Evans - DMack and starting postition will give him good pace 3. Neuville - tbh most likely to win it, but I'm hoping to see another winner for this year. Ogier - will he find a good setup ? Latvala - idk, this should be the rally where we can see how good the Toyota really is. Meek - how much did that crash affects him and what to expect from the car?
-
A lot of emotions in there. I like those small clips of Beef making jokes. I bet he would have been one of the legendary co-drivers like Luis Moya or Nicky Grist.
-
Meeks ss14 accident was his own bravery as he himself commented on that, slightly off the clean line and hit a bump. But still, Citroen has had major setup problems 3 out of 5 rallies now. This is something you don't expect from factory team who have had basically 2 years for testing and development. Then again who knows how big their budget is comparing Toyota and Hyundai. Example, take a look at the rally park facilities - Citroen is comparable to M-Sport, nothing near to Hyundais mega-structure.
