On the first stage everybody will push and see what happens, if the gap is too big to catch up, they'll keep tires for PS. But I got this feeling that some one from top3 will crash out today... :/
-
this season keeps getting better and better, can't wait for tomorrow.
-
The day has started, drivers are saying that today's more car friendly, big push from everybody? Evans just has to keep calm head, but my biggest question is how good will be Mads when fast guys starts to pressure?
-
Evans and Dmack are doing great job, benefiting both from starting position and good tire. If hard compound is as good and tolerates higher temperatures better than last year, will/can M-Sport change tires manufacturer for certain rallies? Too bad for Latvala, but 2-5 are having big fight.
-
It has been terrible, even for Argentina. Let's hope that new Dmack tires lasts on the second loop.
-
After SS3 Evans and Mads are leading over Ogier and Tänak :dizzy: :D So much is happening already, mistakes, technical issues, setup issues... oh my oh my. @KickUp Will Codemasters make sale weekend for D4 if the rally would end 1.Evans 2. Meek ?
-
Meek Neuville Ogier Latvala Paddon Tänak Breen Is my predictions for Argentina.
-
They'r gonna be blast! Btw, on some tracks these can be as fast as supercars.
-
I think I have seen somewher @KickUp answer to a question about WRC licensing with "maybe in future ;)" But SMS will do definitely better job than latest WRC releases.

@bogani you'll like this one, state of the art Starlet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNaq3Tj1sPI

Evans issues for this season are Dmack related. Where's Evans is fast, Dmack is not and vice versa. Imho Evans never was as fast as Tänak on gravel and on tarmac DMack just heats up too fast. I hope it rains in Germany and he gets a decent opportunity to show some pace.
-
I'm missing Tänak from 4th, otherwise my top5 predictions are coming true :)
-
This year's Shakedowns are a joke :( nobody is pushing, everybody are saving tires for powerstage, expecialy for this round. Neuville Ogier Sordo
-
Czech tarmac rally is one of kind for sure, it seems kind of mix from Germany, where the road surface and grip changes a lot and narrow road like in Ireland. I've heard that for some reason everybody want's to start later in the line, 10th or so, not first like it's normal for tarmac events. Is it true and if so, why ?
-
hm, tough one tbh. Corsica Rally means crucial brake and tire management, and Ogier is best at it. Neuville has been really good in Corsica, but he's starting waaaaay back in the line. 3rd place is even harder imo - Sordo should be best pick, but there are so many others. Meek is always a dark horse, Breen had decent run last year, Lefebre should be fast on tarmac. Evans if the conditions suits for Dmack. Tänak had decent run as long as the tires were working and this year he's also benefiting from starting position. I don't see Toyota in the top - in Mexico they had issues with brakes cooling and if I remember correctly, Ogier choose M-Sport over Toyota based on tarmac tests. Also most of the their testing were done on gravel? 1. Neuville - 4 out of 4 would be the best start for the series 2. Ogier - can't but him any lower, only technical issues will stop him and he has been so lucky compared his teammates 3. Sordo - safe bet 4. Tänak - because i'm Estonian ;) 5. Breen /\ because of that :D

Agreed, some stages look more like late winter with little snow and ice coverage and 2nd loop is gone over it already and you are mud-league 110th car on the stages.

Sweden is soooo enjoyable with VR, propably one of my favorite rallies in Dirt, but with monitor I don't even go near it...
-
I'm now even more exited, I've driven speedcare xtreme IRL and these are friking aewsome! 750ccm high revving bike engine, does ~3s 0-100km/h, can't wait!
-
no you are not, this years is the worst one i think.
-
I just hope that big bosses of CM knows what a great asset @KickUp is. Seems like the Dirt team is raising not only standards for racing games, but for community feedback and Q&A.
-
What are the predictions for Mexico? Meek, Neuville, Paddon - all have really good starting positions and it depends how much time Ogier and Tänak will loose on the first loop. If the gap is less than 30s after day on, it's still possible. So I'm thinking that, the battle goes between Hyundai and M-Sport pilots.

That's no gentle roll :D The roof didn't even touch the ground.

Finding new and better suited roads are not an easy task. Public roads are getting wider and wider, straighten or under tarmac or what's the distance from rest of the stages. Not to mention private properties near stages, there are plenty of people who don't like big crowds on their land. This is just another example of FIA's short seeings. I heard that for Finland stages they'll try to prevent corner cuting to reduce the speeds.
-
Sure, but how many mistakes did he make before he slowed down? hat's not how you win championship. Craig Breen had mistakes on first day and slowed down, but Meek isn't some 1st year rookie. I do hope both Kris and Thierry will perform better on the next event.
