What the hell?! Did not get the chance to do the qualifier because you updated the game? What on earth are you people thinking? Just made the fastest time in practice and was going to do the Qualifier. I restart the game since there was no connection with RaceNet, and then it start downloading an update.. You need to fix this in some way so we can do our qualification. I have spent far beyond 100 hours practicing this stage for this.

It's 10th September already. What time is the event available?

The rhythmic stutter is best documented in the Frametime graph. This is using driver 378.92, which is the driver that gives the least stutter. It is sometimes better after a restart, but comes back after a while and eventually the game will hang. Unless I CTRL+ALT+DEL within 10 seconds or so, my whole PC will hang and I have to force close it. I have tried all drivers, 3 different GFX cards (2 EVGA 1080 FTW and GIGABYTE GTX 1080Ti), 2 different MB (ASUS x99 Deluxe and Deluxe II) I have bought a 3rd MB (ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EDITION 10), but have not tried it yet, because I want to see if the new update 1.5 improves on anything first. Codemasters have been acting worse than I would expect from any dev. in relation to this problem, and is a complete disgrace. So far I have wasted more than $1200 trying to find hardware that is circumventing these BUGs. Codemasters could at least have tried to communicate some statistics and work with us to try to get to the bottom of this problem, but unfortunately, they don't care... Since they asked us to send DxDiag to Support back in february, I have heard NOTHING. Turning OFF all USB does not change anything for me, and using other drivers than 387.92, makes the game totally unplayable. Picture below is with driver 378.92. Frametimes spikes every 10 seconds and there are normally more large spikes in a stage than here. The long line at the end is when the game is windowed in the menu, and inactive. Activating it will trigger the Frametimes seen in the beginning, before I start the stage. The picture is from February 24., but nothing have changed...

Onrush was to arcade games, what D4 was to sims... Way overhyped, and even more arcade than expected... 

But they can not be moved around in earlier titles. You cannot place the speedometer in the middle, or move any of that information around as you like, as I would like to. I would also like to make it a bit smaller than in DR. Hopefully this have improved. At least that I  can have speedometer in the middle like in normal cars. On 3 screens there have also been the problem where the speedometer ends up all the way to the right of the right screen  after a failing overclock or other game crash. In DR, this can only be fixed by restarting PC, which seems a bit tedious.  Hopefully we also get the option for telemetry on the screen, in particular for replays.  3rd party hacks have been pretty limiting and needs the game to be run in window  mode, and also does not work on replays AFAICT.  I also hope they focus on anti cheat, and take the time to keep the leaderboards clean  if some cheaters slips through. In DR, Codies have been way too lazy with this.  In the beginning they just deleted the leaderboards all together, and when we did not like  that, boards were soon just left full of cheaters. In this regard we also need to be able  to check other drivers statistics, not only when they participate in the dailies. Since  Steam have changed the settings to not show games by default in peoples profile,  spotting cheaters have become harder. Clicking the name in the leaderboard should have the option to see driver statistics, not only open the Steam profile, as most cheaters  set their profile to Private anyway these days... I also hope we get Workshop and plenty of space to save setups in game. Why have a limit at all? And we also need the ability to write other characters, and letters than the 26 in the English alphabet. In DR, you can not even write the name of the stages correctly  when saving setups. Length of info you can write is also too short.  Pace notes sound... Why does it have to sound like an old Walkie Talkie? I would never  drive with that bad sound IRL! Give us pace notes we can hear please! In D4, even streamers from english speaking countries had a hard time understanding, and chose the female voice.  For us who are not born into english language, and also getting old with bad hearing, please  give us some modern sound on the notes, with full range from bass to treble, and adjustable with equalizer in the menu.  Anyway, Im really looking forward to this game.  Only whish the wait was a lot shorter. :)

Will keep you all updated, but we might have to shuffle to later this week.  *Prepares gossip mode* I'm not sure if you can reveal it but, which timezone are we talking about?  Well if it was someone in the East (i.e. Europe) they would have been at work for most of the day already, so I think it's most likely the US, as they will only just be getting going now... ...unless it's the far East, in which case they would have been heading home when we started work here in the UK. Hang on, that must be it. The different time zone is Japan: TOYOTA DLC CONFIRMED. She did not say "BECAUSE" they are is different time zone. She simply said it was about the "WILL" of people. (who happens to live in another time zone..) If it was about time zones, she would have said "tomorrow", and not "later this week". So my understanding is that someone who live in another timezone are being difficult.  Toyota double-confirmed! LOL

I believe it's origin was in the UK, but it's big in the Far East now. There were also references to the cigarettes in the number plates for the Group A cars: The use of "555" is obvious, but "BAT" is British American Tobacco, who own the 555 brand. Back to Deus Ex and I really enjoyed HR. The boss fights did seem a bit out of place, but they didn't ruin the game for me. I haven't touched the original game for years and, given that I have fond memories of it, perhaps I should leave it that way! In Thai, 5 is pronounced HA, so 555 is hahaha. And BAT (spelled Baht) is Thai currency.  555...

The input lag is totally killing the handling.  The shortest review you ever need:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdhInvUmJjE What sort of video settings you using? being somewhat a console focused game I suspect that the engine of WRC 7 might be quite reliant on fixed 60FPS and vsync on for consistent results, the only thing I can think of that can explain such varied "responses" people are having to it. Not quite sold on getting WRC 7 yet, gotta wait for everyones initial "rose tinted" responses to wear off, just like with Dirt 4 :) I had a lot of stutter problems as others have reporte in the reviews, so I put everything on low and turned off everything that could be turned off since I have experienced the same lag problem with one of the graphic settings in DiRT4. Can`t remember which on though. Tried VSync on/off too and played around with the steering settings. Nothing helped. But I did get rid of the stutter with the lowest settings. It was virtually impossible to drive when sliding as the countersteer would continue a bit after straightening out with the wheel. So zig-zagging down a straight just was no fun for me..;)  Just to make clear:  I was driving in HoodCam at first when I felt the lag, and only changed to HeadCam to confirm what i was feeling.  There might be additional lag in the animation, and that steady speed on the steering wheel turn might not represent what the wheels are doing, but is feels exactly like that!  Cheers :)

I ask because I see it in off-screen videos but it doesn't seem to affect the handling at all. It feels like it looks..

Thanks a lot! Altho I have an 8 core, I had to do this. Go figure.. :)  A tip:  When you change car settings, save them before doing a Shakedown.  Before you race, load your save. ;) Cheers :smile: )
