The Steam page confirms ray tracing will be supported. Will be interesting to see which features this includes. Reflections? Shadows? Lighting?

F1® 2021 | Arrives July 16 | Pre-Orders Live Now
HDR10 replied to BarryBL's topic in F1® 2020 Game Forum
The Steam page for the game confirms that it will support ray tracing on PC. -
-Better ERS recovery, atm the regeneration is too low and causes DRS train because people want to save their battery than actually push and race Terrible idea. This would result in people constantly pressing the OT button, which would be unrealistic. If anything, regeneration should be even slower.

You aren't a real driver. Calm down.

Been using these TV leaderboard and halo HUD mods with F1 2020 on PC, and look how great it looks. It would be fantastic if Codemasters implemented both of these into the game.

RIP F1 series. You weren't perfect, but you sure as hell were better than what you will become.

1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Some weird ghosting issue with DLSS turned on. Happens mostly in darker areas - i.e. in the tunnel at Monaco, in shadows, or in night races. 2. PC. Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 SUPER, 32 GB RAM @ 3200Mhz 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.08 4. Game-mode? Any game mode 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. I've tested it 5-10 times. Happens in the exact same spots on the track whenever DLSS is turned on. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue Well, turning DLSS off fixes the issue, but overall the feature is great. To me, it looks sharper than native resolution + TAA, but the ghosting issue is bothersome. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Xbox One controller 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.

I've always wondered whether or not the AI uses these modes in practice. Anyone know?
-
No problem. Thanks for letting us know. Hopefully the DLSS fix will be one of them. I liked the implementation overall, minus the ghosting issue.

@BarryBL - what happened to "first half of October?"
-
Well, they've only got a couple more days to fulfil the "first half of October" claim.

Nelly Furtado has always been a huge fan of Codemasters' F1 series. -
For those who don't know what Nvidia Reflex is: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/reflex-low-latency-platform/ I've tried it in Modern Warfare and it actually does increase responsiveness. This would be a fantastic addition to F1 2020.

It's not 60fps, it's 60Hz. It refers to the refresh rate of the mod/widget itself, not the performance of the game when using the mod.
