f1 patch 1.20 Patch Notes for 1.20 - Deep Dive & General Discussion
WiiMoritz replied to BarryBL's topic in Technical Assistance
It's already fixed, your league always played without safety car (because before 1.20 SC likely that doesn't exist), so if you want to roll back to 1.18 and save you league, just disable SC in lobby. -

@BarryBL Check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieMuhnGQeDE 3 SCs in the 50% race, Laps 1, 8 and 12. None of the cases we had a car DNF inside the track, lap 1 there is no terminal damage, lap 8 a car with terminal damage really far from the track, and lap 12 same place a little close but still not inside the track. And as I said before, SC is statying too many laps in the track, mainly the lap 1 SC in the video example. Another example: https://youtu.be/j3kh66wKIjw?t=4043 Lap 7 and the player spins in the track and trigger the SC. -

@BarryBL I love a simulation safety car, but I understand a lot of people doesn't want it. I already suggested in some others safety car topics, and I will post it here too, maybe it's not something for F1 2019 but really think about it for F1 2020. Add multiple safety car options, something like: Disabled | Reduced | Moderated | Simulation And I am sure everyone will be happy. EDIT: Something else I think should happen if it's a 50% or 25% race, the safety car should stay less laps in the track. -

@StryderIT I don't know what you think about it, but I noticed its easier than I thought to know which players is each number. In custom lobbies, the player names are replaced by a sequential of numbers starting from 100 and in sequence of lobby players, so while in lobby we will already know who is 100, 101, 102, etc and change a configuration anywhere in your app to replace them by real names. UDP also sends numbers in AI players (hamilton, vettel, etc) but you replace it because you know each number is each player. Just make a configuration to customize which name should be Player 100, Player 101, etc. and a checkbox to disable/enable the Players Override list. Thanks Fernando -

Yes, I undestand and I know that, but I wish I could manually replace the random numbers by the drivers names by myself. If you add an option to save a pre-list of driver names (very useful for league players), and make it possible to replace the numbers udp sends by names from that list. Example: Pre list: John Rick Marty Danny ... Start qualify, udp sends players: 113 105 106 107 Go to menu > assign driver names Click on 113 and select Marty from drop down list that contains the pre list names click on 106 and select Danny click on 107 and select Rick click on 105 and select John save button DONE -

Great APP!. Would you mind to add custom driver names? Random numbers in multiplayer games are a bit confusing.
