    With the AI at 110%?

If so, no point playing the game - ring up Toto & tell him you’re ready to take Valtteri’s seat for 2021! :classic_cool:

    😂😂😂 I wish I’m only 103-107 depending on track

    Guys,

F1 is one of the best racing games on the market.  I've never bought every series game in my life, but F1 is different.

first of all, thanks for listening to my post last yeaer in regards adding a 'Manager Mode' where we can create a team and manage it.

Moving forward, what if we could have more tracks that are not on the traditional F1 Season, but are popular tracks in the Motorsport realm? Such examples can be all the old F1 Tracks from the moment F1 start, Notably, I would love to be able to race the new generation F1 cars on the Nordschleife, Le Mand Track, Watkins Glen, Pocono (USA), and Sepang (Just to name a few). These could of course be DLC packs which allows you guys to generate more revenue.

    SCENARIO MODE

On top of what we already have, how about adding a scenario mode? Ex. We have the opportunity to replicate what Lewis Hamilton did in 2008 on the last corner of Brazil to win the Championship. Or perhaps when Senna finished the race with a damaged gearbox.testother historic, notable scenarios that can be found on F1 YouTube Channel.

    MORE CARS

The current car line ups are awesome. But how about having the old school cars as well. Think back from the beginning of F1, until present times. It would be awesome yo have the option to drive any of the previous f1 generation cars (and even F2 and f3).

    CAREER MODE

With My Team basically taking over career mode,  it needs to be revamped. Similar like what FIFA did, how about creating a character from 12 years old or perhaps you guys give us an option to folloe someone's career path. E.g. We start as the 11/12 year old Lewis Hamilton meeting Ron Dennis. Then we race through the Karting series in order to qualify up towards the formula cars, and finally into F1. Based on our performance we might be offered the MvLaren seat, or we should start with a lower team in order to earn the McLaren team. Also, the decisions we make (Clothes we wear, interview questions, social media interactions with fans) should affect our career and how our peer drivers as well as teams look at us.  This will seperate Career From My Tram.

    MY TEAM

This was an awesome addition!! Let's tweak it - I love that we are not able to win everything on the first season.
What if we keep everything as is, but just build on it.

We start with choosing an engine supplier. But as we become more successful, we have the option to start creating our own engine units. And eventually having sister teams or new teams we buy out that they can start using our engines (More income for our team). Also, how about the ability to choose where our HQ will be located.  And then within the location we choose, we are able to choose different properties for our HQ. And then we can start building in the property as time progresses. We also have an option to change HQ locations or buying bigger facilities. We should also be able to build our own test track where we have our test drivers teat new components that we develop before putting it on the main drivers cars.

Also, it would be cool if you guys could approach actual real life companies where we can sign them as sponsors in the game. Smaller businesses might be interested in this or even bigger companies. This allows more brand exposure for them as people stream your games too. Also, I can envision that as a player, I have for example Samsung as my technology sponsor...and based on the money I receive and the technological Samsung powered equipment in game, I might even start like samaung in real life and even become a real life customer.
    just food for thought.

These are somethings that would be awesome if they were implemented gradually over F1 2021 and beyond.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

Dude My team was too easy if you did all your practice programs you would be able to win races on raw pace in your first season

    Speaking purely about online play:

I have an S safety rating, so I guess I'm not a dirty driver? I don't cut corners, I don't intentionally hit anyone and if I do, I always back off/give the position back. If I don't qualify well or have to start from the back due to an invalidated lap, I will tend to wait for mistakes rather than cut my way through the field. In a full lobby, the first corner is always going to be a nightmare for those ahead of you, you can gain lots of places there. The second and 3rd corners are also problematic for the midfield pack, assuming they didn't all crash in the first corner(which has happened). I usually finish in the top 5-8 when starting at the back and have had the occasional podium/win too, just by waiting for mistakes.

I was a S rating but had to relegate myself to B rating so I can actually get in lobbies with lots of people

Because rewinding is a waste of time and takes my focus away? I don't care if /you/ think its necessary, as I am not you.

I don't know where you're doing that, because it gives me warnings/penalties when following the real F1 rules, where I still have inside tires on the line or curbs. Its really annoying on france, a track I hate anyway.

Also, if we have to have penalties on, I think we should have to play in cockpit cam, I don't know why you'd need any other view after all.

I’ve never heard something more stupid. Your clearly a bad player

  5. Atm in the game they have your platforms leaderboard and your friends leaderboard. They should also add the cross platform leaderboard whilst keeping both your platforms leaderboard and friends leaderboard because there’s a chance one platform could be faster than another platform

  6. Didn’t they in the f1 2015 game have both the 2014 and 2015 season so It could be possible in f1 2021 they do both the 2020 calendar, which includes Mugello and turkey and all the other new tracks, plus the 2021 calendar

@BarryBL Let us allowed to use flashback in time trial am getting motherfucking tired all the time restarting the lap on every circuit in time trial am saying this personally for everyone in community if we can use flashback in time trial every player can save so many hours game play in time trial and also we can correct our mistakes and not get penalty or invalidated for it when we use flashback in time trial as well this would be a huge real if we can use flashback

    Get good

You clearly didn't understand what I was saying.

You have different tracks that requires different setups and consequently different performances. Not only that, the drivers make the difference too.

If you compare the performance of the ferrari in austria/silverstone with monza/spa you clearly see that overall the car was slower. And the same happens to AT, McLaren and Renault, but for the best.

So they need to have a lot, and when I say a lot, is really A LOT of info to make the performance as precise and balanced (for a better experience) as possible.

PS: We had 8 grand prix, but only 6 different tracks. With the performance patch coming in mid-october, if im not wrong, we'll have more 3 different tracks (mugello, russia and nurburgring), so 9 tracks, which is equivalent to 651 laps and around 3.078.655 KM raced.

PS.2: F1 2019 came out in 25th June, that was 8 grand prix later of the start of the championship of that season. F1 18 came out 12 grand prix later. So technically they have the right to take this time for the performance patch.

It’s clear Ferrari aren’t fast so they should be nerfed it isn’t rocket science. Stop giving Codemasters excuses

  9. Yh I’ve only played one season but I have won a few races on raw pace and it was on the correct difficulty because my teammate was near me. The game needs to let us have sliders to increase or decrease the speed of both yours and the Ai’s car development

Well well well, what a race at monza, right? That was amazing, but I'm here to talk about the topic.

This race just showed to all people how difficult it is to make the performance of the cars balanced in the game. We saw hamilton easily overtaking everyone after he serve the penalty, but bottas couldn't even pass norris (altough he had some kind of a problem), and that is one of the main thing.

The performance of the car depends not only of the engine, aero and chassis. The track and the driver itself it's important too.

Concluding, for the people who are always complaining, saying "WHY DO IT TAKE SO LONG TO MAKE THAT, IT CANT BE THAT DIFFICULT", this race at monza showed why does it take so long.

We have had many races. 1 race shouldn’t make us have to wait so long for a performance update

So, i managed to end season 3 at MyTeam. Won Driver and constructor championship, while AI and difficulty slowly increasing as my car gets better, got Tatiana Calderon as team mate and i hope she will be in F1 2021, too, even if she isnt a F2 Driver this year.

But at the beginning of Season 4 i wonder what to do. Season 3 had no changes in R&D, so ich could spend all points in developing new stuff instead of saving the points for adjusting parts which were affected by rule changes. So now my R&D is unemployed, alkl is researched and all builduings are upgraded. Tatiana and my driver are battling about getting Place 1 or 2 in every race. So whats left for me? 7 seasons of boredom in my all woman team?

To be honest...MyTeam lacks long time motivation...so i looked about how this game mode could be better:

    1. Give me an all woman team. I want a Carla and no Carl. Go away Jeff, give me a woman. And...stop calling Tatiana "he" when talking about team mates performance in race. And yes, even if Tatiana Calderon isnt driving F2 in 2020, let her be in F1 2021. I want my woman F1 team 😉

    2. Why cant i decide which strategy and enginge party my team mat has to use? I am the head of the team and Tatiana keeps being DNF because her enginge collapsed.

    3. Why is my R&D finished after 3 seasons? Why should i continue to drive for another 7 seasons? Why should i do training sessions now?

    4. Why cant i give my teammates any race orders?

    5. Why cant i design my F1 car? I mean, we have many ugly painbtings but the design of the car is the same.

    6. Why is the AI of my team mate so bad that Tatiana is only able to perform well when the car is above all other cars? Seriously, mid season 2 my car performance was second to Mercedes, but Tatiana struggled to get into Q2 in qualifying. Only at Season 3 Tatiana was driving with me at position 1 and 2. That was annoying in past games and is still annoying. The team mate is only able to perform well if the car is superior.

This is why we need sliders to let players be able to choose the speed of the car development and a bunch of other things

You're not wrong, but our participation in F1 is already a signature that the game is a fiction.

I'm not against the idea of making things realistic, but unless the game itself could mix things up by itself (from at least season 2 onward), I don't recommend we doing it because there're gameplay balancing concerns.

This is why we should have sliders in Career so we can chose frequency of things happening like safety cars and how much tyre wear and how quick or slow the development speed is

I understand, but we're in a fantasy world if we're talking about the game.

In real life at least the weaker teams could have a chance of bringing revolutionary ideas and suddenly become championship contender after major rule changes, with the current game design they have no chance, slow car stay slow forever. Unless they make the game more unpredictable, or else I prefer we stay in a fantasy settings with at least multiple teams being really competitive, not just Mercedes winning every races like in real life.

The game is already unrealistic because Mercedes should be around 8 tenths to second faster than the rest so they shouldn’t make anything else unrealistic

Okay that explains it a bit. Still however if you do use assists you might lose let's say a second per lap. 5 laps thats 5 seconds. Single mistake made without assists costs minimum of 30 seconds or the entire race. The trade off isn't balanced imo. Using assists should penalize more than they currently do if they need to exist in a game mode where skill is on the test not program automation.

The trade off is fair because if you use most of the assists you will be very slow. You can only use a few assists to be a little bit competitive with the fast no assist drivers. You can still make mistakes with using assists
