I only just found this out myself. Label me as one of the 'disgusted' ol timer gamers who only buy complete games then grind them to death to unlock every single unlockable. I believe that respect is earned not purchased and am not so humble as to not share a YouTube video with a game item such as say rainbow shooting unicorn proving my dedication to a game, and therefore my experience and ability to pass on advice.
The best 'top tier' items should always be earned ONLY not paid for if we are to stop the slide to the bottom of the barrel for humanity constantly desperate for likes for the least amount of work.
I know businesses are not responsible for the fate of mankind but for a game that millions of kids will play there has to be the realization that rewarding cash input over hard work is not to be held in high esteem.
I have no doubt today that with parents paying hundreds of thousands to get their kids in schools they don't belong in at the expense of their hard slogging less fortunate peers, that the same kids will have every 'cool' upgrade gifted to them the moment they go online. Parents struggling to pay bills will have to say no or give in to this greedy gaming micro transaction plagues.
I'm over the top and melodramatic right? Maybe. It's only this one customer the game will lose and noone will miss me to be fair lol. I won't buy a game for 99c if there's a 1c MT in it.
At least 2018 can now be celebrated as the last 'clean' and pure F1 game from Codies. Time to move on. If I am wrong about the MTs please forgive me and ignore my hysterical comments.
