Yea i still dont get The decision to have those awful post stage comments in the game. Especially if I've just come back in a car that looks like it's fallen foul of a u.s drone strike.
-
Thats all kinds of awesome. I suspect it's that Pascal 'ghost recon helicopter mode' guy. Looks like just the thing he was on about.
-
Yea those things could beat wrc cars on tarmac. If the tarmac physics get a bit better than they can be a fun option. I'd like more variety with f2 though. Astra, golf, xsara , 306 maybe.
-
Yea I don't mind either. Toyota are quite far down my dream car list, unless you count the yaris wrc. There are a lot of people who want the Celica and corolla though. I'll take a 206 though please! Preferably burns 03'
-
Probably where to put it is the issue. It would likely have replaced the impreza 95, and that would be a contentious call!
-
Maybe, I'm not down with licensing to be honest, I've just heard people discussing Toyota being a bit of a hard nut to crack.
-
Yea I'd say that's bang on. Dirt rally was the leap forward and other games must catch up to the standard (bugs aside) I would say my perfect game would be dirt rally with wrc license, as I imagine many others would be too.
-
Apparently they just don't like being in games, and therefore tough to license
-
Dunno if 2 years can be called immediate. And we should be cautious as we haven't seen much of the game yet. They say they are now tailoring it for wheel users from the ground up which sounds great, but the handling still looks ......friendly. If it's better than wrc 7 I'll enjoy it a bunch as I liked that game. I can't compare it to dr2 though as the two are miles apart
-
Yea the manta is great, I enjoyed the pig that is the Ascona, so it's nice having the big sister join the party. I'm looking forward to getting to know the M1 when it has it's proper sound. Especially with Sweden and Germany round the corner, which I believe will be great fun with the new GBRWD cars
-
Yea I like the wrc games. They are great for game pads. I don't compare wrc with dirt because for me they're different animals. And that spares me disappointment both ways.
-
Makes me dream of the day dirt rally can have a weather system akin to pc2
-
Yea I think all cars should be available 'new', and only the used cars should rotate availability.
-
It looks accurate. Playing in cockpit on a tv will give an impression of it bein narrow.
-
Yea the focus was a very quick and popular car
-
Yea, specially on the inland stage with those curbs like your in a multi storey car park.
-
Well Subaru and Mitsubishi have hinted at a return so who knows
-
I just think it sits well as a wildcard and as the years have passed it has become more attractive. Forward thinking design on Subarus part no doubt. Depending on livery it could be a smart looking thing. Still unsure how the 2 will compete with the Skoda and Citroen.
-
I've grown to like that car, and I'm looking forward to it considerably more than the focus.
-
The weather is a nice effect but a bit unrealistic. I hope it scales and isn't just zero to Cyclone within 2 minutes in every single location. I mean Germany, a summer rally, does not get hurricanes 2 minutes after a blue sky stage start.
-
Wrc 7 was locked 30fps so I don't imagine they've changed that, certainly not with those graphics.
-
Yea the handling, particularly under braking looks awful at the moment. Looks great for what it is, and I'll still be buying it as a control pad game, but Dirt rally 2.0 it is not.
-
Yea the English flag (St George's cross) has kind of been hijacked by far right groups. The Union flag (British flag) is a more politically correct flag nowadays, however I'm not overly patriotic so I don't really fly flags anyway! Apart from maybe the e.u flag from time to time, given current climate.

No we have winter tyres, these are not studded as far as I can tell. More of an unstudded snow tyre than an ice tyre. I agree I'd like a studded winter option for Monte to cope with particularly icy sections but it's definitely fun. Though I don't have even a half decent pace on Monte yet.

Didn't want to go full pedant. I've bitten all my fingernails off through temptation though.
