  1. Rally Sweden is just one big joke this year, they should've just cancelled the whole event instead of letting it go through with like half of the stages and still having to cancel more stages due to the weather.

Or at least adjust the point scoring system and only go for half the points like in their own FIA rules....

    Only 1 stage tomorrow then....

    "UPDATE REGARDING SUNDAY'S ITINERARY

Due to changing weather conditions and to protect the road for the rally-closing Wolf Power Stage, Sunday's itinerary has been amended. The first pass through SS17 Likenäs 1 will not take place and competitors will tackle SS18 Likenäs 2 as scheduled. The first competitor will now restart at 10.53 ahead of a 15-minute service in Torsby. SS18 Likenäs 2 (21.19km) will start at 12.18."

    • Colin McRae: FLAT OUT pack is the last major piece of content we're releasing.

Is "major" the keyword here? Does that mean we can still expect some minor content then? 🤔

Otherwise you could've just written "last piece of content". 😁

  3. There's something from Mobil 1 Rally Championship 2000 that I would like to see again in modern rallygames, in Rally Championship the leaderboards (single stage times & rally times) contained every car class. So when you were driving an A5 car you could see how u competed against the bigger & more powerful A6's & A7's.

And beating them felt hugely rewarding, obviously with an A5 you weren't going to beat every A7 car but still when you were able to mix in the top 5 and beating others of your own class, that felt really good.

So imagine in DR3 when driving an Evo X R4 f.e. and beating some of those R5's and being able to see it in those multi class leaderboards, that would be great.

Conspiracy after the first rally just finished!? Wow... 🤣

When it comes to Ogier you never know, at M-Sport it was just the same, even at the beginning of the season. All for Ogier, other Ford drivers were only there for backup and not to be ahead of him even if they were faster.

  5. So, team orders already at Toyota? Evans having to slow down to let Ogier pass or just not Evans' day today? What do u guys think, would be a real shame for Evans really to have to let Ogier ahead of him after such a great rally where he was faster than Ogier most of the time.

I bet my money on these 4 cars that were at DIRT 2-3 and still missing from DR 2.0..... (easy money)
    - Peugeot 207 S2000
    - Fiat Punto S2000
    - Subaru Impreza STI Spec C
    - Toyota Celica GT-4 ST205

..... and of course the ones that we already have photos from the sound recordings
    - Subaru Legacy RS GrA
    - Nissan Almera N15 Kit Car

These 6 (except Toyota for license reasons) will be in the next seasons for sure .....but I am very curious for the future rally locations (if any)

PJ already said there were no plans to add any Toyota's to DR2.0

Yes, everyone is aware of that. But the rumor mill refuses to consider Thierry locked in just yet. Hyundai hiring Ott was basically a no-confidence vote in Neuville.

We know from F1 that contracts are made to be broken.

    Hence, the speculation.

I still disagree because if there is no faith in Neuville then he wouldn't be allowed to drive a full championship and he would get a part time role like Sordo & Loeb. Adamo himself said he is still very much pleased with Neuville's work, his input for the team and professionalism.

The only 2 people now who will have doubts about their future because of Ott's signing, are Mikkelsen & Breen.

With Tänak moving to Hyundai and speculation over Ogier and Neuville's future, I guess it's time to revive this thread and stop posting in the RX thread.

What speculation about Neuville's future? He's still under contract for 2 more seasons at Hyundai and he's already confirmed for a full championship next season.

"Ott will join Thierry for a full season, while Dani and Sébastien will share the third car throughout the year. We also remain in discussion with Andreas and Craig regarding a possible WRC collaboration in 2020."
