  1. NFS Shift 2 also had something similar. High revving the engine too much would cause it to blow in the middle of a race.
  2. BeamNG is the absolute car wreck simulator. You can crash even by standing still.
  3. GRID had the best damage model CM has ever developed and that's one of the main reasons I love it so much. Even minor crashes were enough to beautifully turn your car into a chunk of scrap and that's top notch physics. The kind of damage I want to see is wheels being so awfully pulled inside that steering the car becomes impossible. Saw that on lots of videos. Even dumb crashes, like hitting a small rock at 40 km/h would force the driver to retire.
  4. I doubt Yaris would make it to the game, but Celicas are possible. Toyota is not a hard deal.
  5. It would be a dream line up."Which R5s have you got?""All of them!" " :o " Now if they could only get all R2s... and by all R2s, I mean add that little Pug Mr Armstrong once drove and the modern rally collection of this game will be epic. I still don't know what will be in RGT but, apparently, it'll be good. Pretty sure they'll add the RGT Exige in no time if enough players post times on the 911. The car may have not been successful but still should be tons of fun to drive.
  6. Even on short stages like Porlock Hill in Somerset I’ve passed 4 or 5 cars off the road when running at the back. It’s not uncommon to pass a few cars within a short distance of each other too! If you haven’t seen Porlock before, here’s a clip of my brother doing it a few years ago: https://youtu.be/6MrIS1jtGhc Its a a really great tarmac stage, I actually prefer it to the Great Orme! He also does a pretty dodgy overtake at 3:40 edit: watching that back, he actually passes about 4 cars on that run Your brother should be one of the consultants, very smooth drive. Which car is it he was dr

  8. It's kinda tough adding "disguised" WRC cars in the game, since CM doesn't have the right to do so. They did it on DR but if FIA wanted, they would be in a big legal mess because of that. Maybe they'll do the same once again, despite being dangerous business.
  9. The 22B featured on CMR was Colin's Impreza. It's a WRC rally car. Uh oh you've done it now Let me quote a wise post EDIT: Oh dear guess I was 2 slow trying to find the post again So much knowledge on a single quote. Didn't know about that and I'm quite amazed. Thanks for the info.
  10. Corolla was also featured on the first CMR. Very fun to drive but easily beaten by the 22B. I find that hard to believe as the 22B is a road car  ;) The 22B featured on CMR was Colin's Impreza. It's a WRC rally car.

  12. I mentioned most rally games. Out of all CM's rally titles, the Celica was featured on 3.
  13. Toyota is out of racing games as a whole. Mitsubishi isn't, the Evo X is already confirmed anyway. Toyota was in Gravel. Toyota was featured on GT Sport too. Don't forget that WRC Celica GT-Four got the manufacturer banned for 4 years. I guess they wouldn't let anyone feature their cars on most rally games anymore because this could be seen as negative propaganda. Gravel is an exception, didn't know there were Toyotas on the list. I just want the Yaris to make into DR2.0, even though it would be nice to have the Celica and Corolla (and maybe the Supra Mk.III Gr.B, who knows?) on the sel
  14. It's Poland for sure. Very narrow roads with a good portion of vegetation and long straights. What really amazes me is the 11:30 current split time. Feels like it'll be a 20 km+ stage and that would be awesome. May have just been parked for 5 mins. Looking at stage lengths of the NZ (~12km) and Argentina (~8km) I wouldn't expect anything radically different in that regard. Edit: especially if done for a recce! Also thought about a recce, but wanted to keep hopes high on longer stages whew
