If you were to add one DR1 venue as DR2 DLC...

I admit this is kind of frustrating since I bought the deluxe edition with my previous mindset, but I guess that's okay after all.

    DLC means what exactly?

Season 2 may be focused on RX, but I suppose at least one out of its 3 new locations will be another comeback from the original DR. The same for incoming vehicles. We might see some fresh content for rallying from season 4 onwards.

Yesterday's tweet was dope, but I'm kind of expecting at least one new major route, despite everyone's guess of a full recycle. Either way, it'd be nice to blast through Finland with fixed weight and gravity physics.

    update my pre+order

Is there a way to upgrade? I bought the deluxe on pre-order because I wouldn't risk it and the deal was sweet.

I didn't buy D4 on launch, just on a sale to have on my Steam library, along with all other DiRT titles released, which I own. Still, I pre-ordered DR2.0 on Steam because I did put some faith on it and because the deluxe edition was extremely cheap on our region. It may be dumb, but I want to support CM despite all that has happened before. Call me crazy, I don't mind, but I love rallying since my child days and will not accept these lame WRC titles to be our only source of games for the sport.

VR support in Dirt Rally 2 ?

If you guys knew how common this is in Brazil, you'd be astonished. Basically happens with most IT technicians, developers, visual artists, advertising pros, etc.

DR was bad in a few points, but still better than most games by the time, WRC titles included. I did fell indeed it was a incomplete game, since it had so much potential, but it was still an experimental project for CM, so it gets forgivable in many aspects. Lousy physics and damage model aside, DR was a great game and seemed like a whole new IP for CM, since it was also very distinguishable from previous titles. D4, on the other hand, is just plain bad. Physics got fixed and all the rest was screwed deeply. Poor team management, mostly repeated car list entries, shameful campaign and pathetic course generating tools and resources are some points that state the lack of effort put into the development of this game.

VR support in Dirt Rally 2 ?

Implying they are doing that entirely thanks to community requests. It's obvious a advertising deal made this possible, otherwise PSVR and Revive would also be confirmed.

    Bonus for not restarting stages

Was thinking a lot about that. Rallies feel a lot more realistic online, since we can't restart. I think there should be an option to disable restarts in both Career and Custom Event modes. Maybe adding bonus $$$ on the prize, like the percentage we get for disabling external cameras on DR, among others.

NFS Shift 2 also had something similar. High revving the engine too much would cause it to blow in the middle of a race.

BeamNG is the absolute car wreck simulator. You can crash even by standing still.

GRID had the best damage model CM has ever developed and that's one of the main reasons I love it so much. Even minor crashes were enough to beautifully turn your car into a chunk of scrap and that's top notch physics. The kind of damage I want to see is wheels being so awfully pulled inside that steering the car becomes impossible. Saw that on lots of videos. Even dumb crashes, like hitting a small rock at 40 km/h would force the driver to retire.

I doubt Yaris would make it to the game, but Celicas are possible. Toyota is not a hard deal.

It would be a dream line up."Which R5s have you got?""All of them!" " :o " Now if they could only get all R2s... and by all R2s, I mean add that little Pug Mr Armstrong once drove and the modern rally collection of this game will be epic. I still don't know what will be in RGT but, apparently, it'll be good. Pretty sure they'll add the RGT Exige in no time if enough players post times on the 911. The car may have not been successful but still should be tons of fun to drive.

Even on short stages like Porlock Hill in Somerset I’ve passed 4 or 5 cars off the road when running at the back. It’s not uncommon to pass a few cars within a short distance of each other too! If you haven’t seen Porlock before, here’s a clip of my brother doing it a few years ago: https://youtu.be/6MrIS1jtGhc Its a a really great tarmac stage, I actually prefer it to the Great Orme! He also does a pretty dodgy overtake at 3:40 edit: watching that back, he actually passes about 4 cars on that run Your brother should be one of the consultants, very smooth drive. Which car is it he was driving though? A modified MG ZR. If you could see his driving on dirt rally then you would understand why he should never be allowed near a consultancy job ZR is an outstanding hatch. Nice. And lol, I'd wish to see him "nailing" stages on DR someday.
