ffb fixed, some comms from devs

I’ll welcome anyone who wants to know what it really feels like to drive one of these - to come join me in Appleton, WI. This FFB is junk! It’s ******** we ... as customers have been left out in the cold after spending $83.00 for a product (mine at least) that I’m not using because I’m not happy with it. CM let us down - the least they could do is refund our money!

I can assure you he can feel the road through the wheel! I don't 'know' this from watching a video - I know it from driving an off-road vehicle. If you missed my earlier post I'll copy it below here. How should FFB really feel? For 'my' real world comparison - I took my 2019 Yamaha YXZ1000R out this weekend - here are my thoughts: The first thing I noticed is on pavement at very low speeds I could 'feel' the knobs on the tires through the wheel (kinda like the cow grates) ... this lessens as the speed increases. On the trails I can absolutely 'feel' through the wheel the difference between driving on sand -vs- gravel -vs- pavement -vs- hard packed clay. I could tell you what surface I'm driving on with a blindfold on. Same thing with ruts - they will pull the wheel depending on their depth and the speed at which you hit them - and when you hit a big one you know it! Dirt Rally 2.0 has literally ZERO feedback from the surface you are driving on.

FFB sucks. I didn't get what I paid for. I'm not playing the game anymore. I want my $83 back.

I’m done waiting. I paid $83 for a product I’m not satisfied with. I want my money back!

What happened to companies simply taking care of their customers? Just about any product you buy today - if you are not satisfied you can get your money back - most companies realize its better to make the problem go away than have people unhappy/complaining. Why should this be any different with a video game? There are many of us who do NOT feel we got what we paid for - but we're expected to just suck it up and throw $83 down the toilet? I think its unconscionable that CM has not given us the product we expected and has done little to provide a solution (either fix it or refund). It's just not good business. If I could have played the game as it sits today before I paid $83 for it ... I would NOT have bought it.

My $83 copy of Dirt Rally 2.0 is collecting dust (waiting for this FFB fix) - at what point are we entitled to a refund?
  8. This doesn't sound promising. How about they let those who are 'happy' with the FFB keep playing and refund the money to those who aren't?
  9. If Codemasters is giving refunds ... where do I sign up?
  10. I want to start a thread “Who wants a refund” ... maybe they’ll listen to that?
  11. Put me in the categories of "I wouldn't have bought it if I knew the FFB was screwed up" ... and "I want my money back"!
  12. I paid $80 for this game ... Imagine if you (as a customer) only sent them $40 - you think they'd give you the game? That's what they are doing to us - giving us 1/2 of what we paid for. Right now - I'd rather have my money back.

    Awful FFB! Well done Codies

I don0't use or follow twitter. Would it hurt CM to comment on their own forum?

Agreed 100%! At this point I'd rather have my money back.

Why isn't Codemasters answering any of these complaints on FFB?
