    I had this (the black screen no menu problem), but by mashing the enter button on my wheel I managed to load a stage with the Fulvia and it was visible in VR. I managed to complete the stage, but any of the 2D menus before or after the stage were black screen. I'm on the steam VR beta too. HP Reverb/WMR/SteamVR.

    Small SteamVR beta update overnight to 1.7.3 and everything is fixed! Game loads, menu navigates (and is actually visible) perfectly normally, goes into VR/3D and wham, framerate is fine, perfectly smooth, drives brilliantly. DR2.0 has gone from being so rubbish to being so good in such a short space of time. Anyway, who cares, it seems to be fixed and on the first run through it's every bit as good as I imagined it would be. The car feels much heavier than DR1.0, and you get a great sense of balance and grip.
    Unbelievable, but a nice surprise.

    The only thing I can find wrong is that the exterior landscape is a bit overexposed and washed out, but compared to 24 hours ago it's a million times better.

    In file ‘’hardware_settings_config.xml’’

    Change value ‘’true’’ for value ‘’false’’

    So it is now

    <vr enabled=’’false’’ eyeDistanceMultiplier=’’1.000000’’ lockedOrientation=’’false’’>

    This solution works without removing steamVR, which would mean no VR games at all for me :classic_sad:. I changed to windowed mode in the same config file and still had the black screen/no menu issue with steamVR beta 1.7.2, I'll try rolling back to the previous version, that seems to be the issue.

    edit: rolled back SteamVR to 1.6 and used windowed mode, headset display remained black, game loaded ok on screen and I could navigate menus on screen, but even when I got into 3D and the stage start it stayed black in the HMD. The view was visible on my monitor and I could drive the stage so long as I kept the Reverb on my head and peeped out below the visor. I'll forget DR2.0 VR for a bit and check back in a month or so, good luck guys, hope it starts working one day.

  4. Does anyone know anything about whether Dirt Rally 2.0 will be supported by the Renovatio sim racing dash SRD-9C? Dirt Rally 1 was supported, and usually support in the SRD-M3 software for new games comes out quite soon after release day, but there has been no sign of it. Just posting this here as it's probably the most likely place to find someone who knows. Thanks in advance for any clues.

  5. Kind of agree with OP here, he did say car movement, not suspension movement, it's something that has caught my eye that body roll and dipping on braking doesn't appear to happen in replays, and that video shows it quite well. Anyway, a small niggle, game is great overall so you can forgive the minor things.
