For me personally it would be enough, if the game runs at 60fps at ALL TIMES + no tearing + no "car double"-effect. And maybe higher resolution. But I play on X-Box One S, I assume the game already runs better on a X-Box One X, so I would take that. If I buy a next gen-console, it would be the X-Box Series X due to my catalogue of games.

I crashed in SS2, but somehow didn't got a puncture. It was really a typical crash were I usually get a puncture, but thought I am lucky. Only lost a few seconds. But then I "crashed" early on SS3: came way too fast into a 4 right and then onto the gras and slided way off the track. Got 40 seconds time penalty. After this I just finished the rally without motivation and several mistakes including a spin in SS4. In SS6 I somehow got huge problems with the tyres, slided often more than expected causing some mistakes. SS7 was ok, came onto the gras once and lost 2-3 seconds. I somehow can't get a good rally in that location, always fail at some point. Meh. -
No! Not RaceNet-Data! Use the first option on save settings in profile settings. It deletes all tune-setups, all progress in Colin McRae Scenarios, Historic Championships, World RX Championship, all saves in Custom Championship and your current My Team Rally/RX Championship (but not the tier you are in). RaceNet-Data would delete your My Team-garage and credits, not necessary.

USA went ok I guess... Well, I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. Pace was good, but I did sooooooo many mistakes! On SS6 I crashed on the last corner (a "early 2 right" I believe) and spun, got even a puncture, lost 5-6 seconds there. And after that I pushed hard on SS7 to get 2nd place back, but chrashed on the small jump right before the finish... I smashed against a sign, to the other side against a tree and came to a full stop. Had 1 or 2 punctures and lost well over 10 seconds there. I was a second or two behind Yabby in 3rd sector before that crash, so I believe I wouldn't have made it without the crash anyway. Pretty sure I could have been much better, but wasn't my day. -

Wow, that could be a title deciding point in the championship. Come on, @ApexAzimuth! I expect a huge push forward in the 2nd half of the season from you! It could have been such a close, intense battle between Yabby, Apex, Snoopy and Snaky this season, but oh well, maybe next season. And hopefully Kildog somethingthing and jnco89 come back to the party at some point. I think it's to some extent Codemasters fault with their wonky RaceNet and their slow club website. If all those thinks would work more consistent and fast, we would have more regular players. And not to forget some options, who would do things more interesting. -

Well... 😅 No chance for that. Winters for SS1 to SS6 as normal and softs on SS7. SS7 was really strange, though. The huge amount of grip scared me a bit. @Snoopy43 beat me by a few seconds, grr 😣😅 Now I have to wait for @ApexAzimuth and @Snaky115, Maybe a podium in Monte, whohoo 😄 -

No drama for me this time, a small mistake on SS2 cost me a few seconds and sometimes I was a bit too cautious, but a pretty good rally for my standards. -
OF COURSE I DO! We both don't know the answer, just "performance reasons". Finland is very fast, rain and night is ok, sooooo, what could it be? It came never into your mind, the problem is the distance to the front? There are white walls showing up in one specific place in the distance on one of the stages, I assume those would be much more, if there wouldn't be fog. JUST GUESSING. Now you know how that feels, eh? 🤣

What cars do we want to see in a future DIRT Rally game?
UnderclassGDfan replied to F2CMaDMaXX's topic in DiRT Rally Series Suggestions
The only difference in game modes between DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally 2.0 is Landrush, right? Yeah, no thanks to DiRT 5, gimme DiRT Rally 3! -
It's you're repetitivness that's making me upset. You just ignore the devs answer and continue. I would even talk to my family like that, if they would repeating the same s*** over and over again. I don't have anything against your point, I just don't have a problem with the fog. They even said it's because of performance. Probably the engine just can't do it with the new systems in place. Accept that. Maybe one day with a better engine, new consoles, more power, you get your fogless finland again. I'm pretty sure they did that not because they wanted it to look like that.
-
The first few times was ok. But you JUST DON'T STOP! EVERY SINGLE ONE on these forums know now, you (and some others apparently) have a problem with the fog. WE GOT IT! You even got a direct reply from the devs. What do you expect after a definitive "no" from the devs now with this? To drive everyone crazy with that topic? It won't change! They will not change their mind, when you keep repeating this. This was OBVIOUSLY a joke, some kind of way to show you, how annoying you are to me. I literally can't read a thread anymore, without you showing up and crying about that again. Exaggerated, I know.
-
How can someone so narcissistic to think his problems with the game count for everyone. I don't have a problem with the fog, I will not discuss it. You cried about that topic way too many times now and it looks like almost every second post from you has this topic. And don't tell what I should do or not, your opinion has no weight to me. You just whining around instead of improving your driving.
-
No, I want them to leave the fog in the game. Just for you.

You were probably the only one in that rally without several huge mistakes. I'm 3rd with only 6 seconds behind Yabby and lost way more than a minute on mistakes 😅 Had never thought of doing the first leg on softs, though. Way too risky for SS3. -
@HoksuHoo You start to annoy everyone with that. They already said there will be no change to that, accept that please.

How many cars can I have in garage (Career)
UnderclassGDfan replied to IgorPr's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Do you mean Citroen C4 Rallye? Yeah, several of my cars have broken statistics, too. If you do a monthly, the game registers +1 events started for every rally within the monthly, but only 1 events ended (no matter what) at the end. Means, after a monthly you always get more events started as events ended. Looks then if you rarely couldn't finish an event... I forgot about the RX cars, most of them are untouched. Don't play RX much. And AI times are too broken, to be enjoyable. -

@gleylancer571 I didn't touched the monthlies since summer, except a few exceptions to test if the car statistics bug ist still present. Can't do them, it just annoys me too much. I thought of making a bug report again, but they didn't fixed it the first few attempts, so I gave up. -
Well, a remaster update (performance and graphics) would mean, I would buy the X-Box Series X day one. I would even buy the "DR 2.5 Definitive Edition" day one at full price 😄 Would prefer a performance push more than higher resolution, though. Faster Loading times, no pop-ins, rock solid 60fps, no strange graphical issues, sharper textures...a dream would come true. Content and physics wise I'm already more than happy with the game. I know you said PS5, but that would X-Box Series X count in, right?

Me too, all 81. And accept 2 or 3, all are fully upgraded. I could buy a few duplicates per car if I wanted to (have currently around 63 million credits), but why should I? Just fills up the garage. -

And the fastest members in the club use softs all the way. Although it got very tricky in Australia I must say. You will lose too much time on any dry tyre on wet surface. When you get faster and touching more the limit of the car you will see, that a completely beaten wet tyre is faster than a new dry soft tyre on wet surface. But never really tested the hard tyre, though. -

The engine upgrade system (and the reliability upgrades) are only for the My Team mode. So My Team rally career, My Team RX career, dailies, weeklies and monthlies. The game modes on the other tab (Time Trial, Custom Championship, Historical Championship and so on) are not affected by this and are already on full power. For My Team: 1st) Buy a car in every class you wanna compete in. 2nd) Upgrade your crew. 3rd) Upgrade the engine for your favourite cars. 4th) Upgrade the reliability of your favourite cars. Long stage = usually around 9-16 kms Short stage = usually around 3-8 kms (depends on the location) (save for beginners) soft tyre: 1 long + 1 short or 3 shorts max medium tyre: 2 longs + 1 short or 5 shorts max hard tyre: not necessary unless you create some custom championships with less service areas (how I use) soft tyre: 3 longs max or 5-6 shorts max (depends on location) medium tyre: everything above 3 longs or 6 shorts hard tyre: never really used it If there is a wet stage in spain or germany = use always wet tyre (even if there are dry stages before or after). You can't use a car in a daily, weekly or monthly, if it is currently in a career championship. You can buy dublicates, but I would suggest buying a different car in the same class and use that.
