I always thought that it must be a nightmare to organize a rally. But with two nations? So you have to do the legal work twice?

Finland was by far the worst performance from me yet. SS1 was good, SS2 too, until I misjudged the square left in the open area...I decided to brake AFTER the jump, wich was the wrong decision. I was way too fast and couldn't brake before reaching the corner, so I moved the car a bit left in the woods to avoid the people, the car and trees. So no damage, but a time penalty...59 SECONDS!!! 59!!! I was so annoyed I was close to rage quitting 😅 After that I lost a bit the focus and did a few mistakes here and there. SS3 was a mess. Mistake over mistake. Even a roll on the roof like a turtle including 8 seconds penalty happened. SS4 was better, got my focus back, but the car was still not in perfect condition and my confidence wasn't high. SS5 was a disaster including a puncture with no spare. So I had to finish SS5 and the whole SS6 with 3 wheels. Puncture was on the front right, so it was doable. SS7 was without drama, but the car was quite heavily damaged. I thought Yabby would destroy my time and kick me from 3rd place on the championship standings, but he didn't compete for the first time in that championship. On the one hand lucky for me, on the other hand somehow meh. It's still a close battle! Did New Zealand already. SS1 was good, no real problems. SS2 was pretty good, too, but I misjudged a corner and hit a fence quite hard...lost the two lights on the right side and the additional light completely. So my view was pretty bad. Close to the end Phil said "Is the engine ok?" and I thought..."ooooaaarggghhh"...the engine started to make bad noises you don't wanna hear with another one long stage to go, but I managed SS3 without much problems. Probably a bit slow, but yeah... SS4 to SS7 were without big problems, some mistakes here and there, but nothing serious. Greece will be a nightmare for me. It's probably my worst rally location and so far I didn't managed a single run without crashes I believe 😄

@Aidan1996 Welcome! 🙂 Australia was a small disaster. Well...I thought it was until I looked at the final results and I didn't seem to be the only one with problems there. SS1 was very good until late in the stage were I touched a bush or a pole (can't remember) slightly on the inside of a corner, that spun me to 90° and down the cliff on to a tree. I was quite slow, so no big damage, but I had to reset and got 8 seconds penalty. But I managed to cut that down to a little under 6 seconds on the finish to the current leader (not Apex 😄 ). SS2 was full of mistakes, SS3 was much better until I got a puncture in the 2nd to last sector. I managed to reach the finish on 3 wheels without losing too much time. SS4 was by far the best stage for me in the rally and I thought after the stage I can still beat Yabby. But despite being quite good in SS5, I couldn't beat Yabby there. So I pushed even harder in SS6, but that was too much and I crashed heavily. Another puncture pretty early and that was it. SS7 was good, but obviously nothing to win here anymore. I was quite surprised I am still ahead of some of my rivals. Must been a bad rally for most of us 😄 Sadly Baunau did not even compete, I hope he is back in the next rallies. The big three (Snoopy, exerfit and jnco) seem to be pretty busy lately, too 😞 Well, more points for me!

My run was quite good, except SS3 were...I don't know...after a jump I lost the back pretty hard, I thought something was damaged or I got a puncture, so I slowed down a bit. Did some more mistakes, but in the end, nothing was really damaged. Watched the replay, but couldn't find the reason. Maybe the suspension was too soft or something. Rest was ok, but I felt always I could be a bit faster. Well, my choosen rivals are all behind me, so I'm happy 🙂

Had a chance to win Monte (won stage 5 & 8 ), but crashed against the outside wall in the middle of the stage...both right weels punctured. Had no spare, so I had to give up 😞 Sweden will be tough. Great championship, we see us in the snow 🙂

I think I didn't touched the Historic Championship Mode since march last year. Completed it once and done. Codemasters could do so much more out of that game-mode with regular updates. Mixed car classes, new fixed championships for each class, championships with just specific cars allowed, specific scenario rallies like "finish the rally starting with a heavily damaged car" or "win with +30 sec penalty" etc. But I don't believe we will see things like this in DR 2.0. Too much work. Maybe in the next entry, if there will be one.

They will never touch the classes. The new Impreza will go 80% into 2000cc, because it's the "DLC-Class". There is a 19,9% chance it's going into Group A, were it should go for performance reasons. And 0,1% chance they re-group the cars, but very unlikely. But if they do, please no mix of RWDs and 4WDs, thats unfair.

I was surprised about Loeb making mistakes like that and being generally slow compared to the Top 3. I thought he is more consistent with 9 Titles. And disappointed about M-Sport Ford being behind quite much.

Don't you get quite much through the monthly AI-Challenge instantly after finish? Can't remember really. And you also get a finish-bonus on the Career itself. 100 races seem a bit much, but I realised that it maybe depends on performance.

Did you tried de-installing and re-installing? (Yes, generic stupid question, but it works sometimes.) I know that it can take a day to recognize the DLC if you buyed it yesterday. For the promo-challenge it doesn't matter, since you don't need to own the DLC (the location), you just need an R5 to compete in. If you don't have an R5 yet, just do a My Team Rally Career, so you get quite quick enough money from it. Yes, it's quite much to do in a short time-frame, but it's the only way. The liveries will be available in the future it seems, so you will not miss them in the long run. Sorry I can't really help more. If I could, I would spent you a million or so from my My Team-Credits.

You sound like an Microsoft-employee. This disgusting 1€ decoy tactics are just to get used to this kind of service. It will get much more expensive, when it's established. It leeds to short-lived, online multiplayer casual-action games in masses and will kill single-player and indie-games in the long run. Well, Single-Player games are already pretty dead, but this will be the very end. There is no reason for a Publisher/Developer to release a game that you can only play alone and has an end with this kind of abo-service. Mark my words. Especially racing games with so many licenses will disappear quickly, when the next is coming out. The point were you not be able to buy the games anymore is quite far in the future, I know, but it will happen. Sorry, didn't want to rant that much, but I really, really hate "Games as a Service", "Abo-Services" and things like that.

I bought a month in the middle of stage 11 and watched the stream to the end. Very confusing, since I'm not really familiar with...err...everything 😅 I come directly from free TV F1 coverage from the mid-90s to now. Never really watched Rally Sport because I had no clue about that. Just don't know how everything really works, I only know there are around 10 WRC competitors and the rest are WRC2 & 3-drivers in R5s!? I know that Loeb is a 9 times in a row champion following by Ogier with 6 times in a row. Crazy. And last season finally someone else won, Tanäk? Tanak? Don't know any of the drivers, don't have a favourite yet. But the finns look sympathic. I don't use a app or something, just through the website with my Laptop. Worked quite good so far, but the layout is completely confusing. Can I watch the stages I missed somewhere?

Wich WRC-Games? There are quite few. The PS2-Series from Evolution Studios? Or the WRC-Games from Milestone back in the X-Box 360/PS3 era? Or do you mean CMR 1-3? Or DiRT 1-3? 🤣 Would real like to drive "exotic" rally cars, but I only own all rally games released on X-Box 360 and X-Box One, except WRC 8, that will come later into my collection depending what Codemasters does with DR 2.0. I stopped doing dailies/weeklies/monthlies in september completely. Only doing a few again recently. The rally career I don't play at all anymore, because it crashed twice in a row very late in career because of RaceNet. Not doing that again. But I'm very active, just not in My Team. I hate that Online-Only-Design. I'm an X-Box-Player, but hate the Game Pass, will never use that. It ruined FH4 for me, never touching that game again.

😃 I'm way ahead of my goal to reach this season, so I'm happy, but I fear Poland Rally a bit, crazy fast and one mistake can be a DNF. EDIT: @PJTierney Could you delete the spam-post above me?
