The ugliest rally car I have ever seen 🤣

Well, they are bugged anyway (reported the bug in the respective thread many months ago, but probably not important enough to fix), so it wouldn't change much. But to be honest, it drives me crazy quite often 🤣

We are still talking about a videogame here. It's just stupid having stats on the cars already and no chance to easily track them.

Oo Btw. do you guys all have WRC+ or where you see the rally stuff? I'm close to buying a subscription for a month, but It's 9€ for one month...quite expensive...and I don't know, if my old laptop can handle the stream.

Well, New England...Michigan...Washington...WHATEVER...was ok for me. Had several small mistakes and was not as fast I could have been, because I wasn't confident in the car at most times. And if you try to drive safe...you make more mistakes 😄 Argentina was much better, my run was quite good. Only did one bigger mistake in SS6 losing 4-5 seconds, rest was quite good. And a lot of fun I must say. These RWDs are much more fun to drive than I thought 😍

I need that Lego-Audi quattro! But it seems it's not out yet in potatoland 😞 And now I want a Volvo 240 in the game...arrgh 😄

Maybe it helps you guys, but it helped me: I had to log out from the clubs-website and log in again to get the website working. For me everything is ok. (Can't speak for club in-game, because I didn't played since early yesterday.)

I hope the support will go on well into the year, because there are still quite many things to fix. But that doesn't mean I don't see any progress made in the past year, many things got fixed or got improved, so good job there

But only for a week (dailies), a month (weeklies) and half a year(?) (monthlies) it seems. I tried it and it seems, it isn't stored "forever". It's better be not forever, there are some baaaaaad times from me in the past 😄

You are not last. There are 3 people behind you at the time of writing. Sweden was quite difficult for me as expected. Did a spin in a very slow corner and BARELY touched the crowd and got resetted + 8 seconds penalty on SS3...GRR! Then...on the last stage...on the last sector...3 turns or so to finish I crashed, rolled and was stuck against a tree = another 8 seconds penalty. There I lost the position against kildog 😥 Well, I hope for a better performance on the next rallies. Fun Fact: On stage 6, the first 2 have exact the same time 🤣

@Mike Dee Didn't you hosted the Dirty Discord-Club in the game? Why is there no activity?

I don't care if the announcement is coming tomorrow or in a month, I just hope it's not only 1 car and that's it. I hope for a full second year of DLC-Support + fixes. I stopped playing other racing games, because I feel this is the most fun for me at the moment, so I just need more content and a few things fixed and I'm happy.

A bit late to comment on it, but I enjoyed Monaco extremely, especially sliding around the snowy corners was really fun. Haven't done many mistakes and was better than expected, I'm pretty happy with my time. To be the best BMW-Driver on the board looks also quite nice. But I know, Apex will destroy me sooner or later 😄 But I have an opponent I want to beat this season and I was ahead this rally, so I'm happy 🙂 Sweden will be tough, really tough. Sweden and Greece are my worst Rallies, but I hope for the best.

@PJTierney Any chances we get more reliable servers in the future? Those downtimes happen way to often and are by far the most annoying thing in this game. (Don't know if the servers are back again, didn't played since the first reports.)

That's the decision from Audi, not Codemasters. It's called the same in the Forza-Franchise.

I don't see a DiRT Rally 3.0 or DiRT 5 coming before 2021, so this is too far away to think about it. A year 2-pass + visual/performance-upgrade for the next gen consoles of DiRT Rally 2.0 would be perfect for me. Would even buy the game again for that.

You can't really compare the tech in consoles with a High-End-PC. Consoles are closed systems specifically made to run games. The specs seem pretty outdated by now, but look at RDR2. That game runs smooth on my One S.

I doubt it's "Consoles" alone, because the X-Box One X and PlayStation 4 Pro are pretty powerful and should be able to run this game in 60fps at all times and without fog. There are enough examples out there like Forza Motorsport 7 running in 60fps without fog. It's obviously a combination of tech (old engine), budget and skills at Codemasters. Why the PC gamers get hold back is absolutely stupid in my opinion, everyone knows, if he wants the technically best version, he should play on a PC, there is no reason to limit it, just to have equal versions of the game. I play on a X-Box One S and have no problem with the fog. Doesn't look better than the DR1-Version, but it's not as bad for me. But I'm used to have not the prettiest games anyway. And I see it like a challenge not being able to see much in front. Well, not an excuse of course.

System: X-Box One S (latest Firmware- & Game-Update (1.11.1)) Version: Retail Deluxe + Season 3+4-Pass Peripheral: None except Standard One S-Controller Where?: My Team -> Garage -> any Car -> Car Statistics Description: My Team-Monthlys (tested it with the promotional "monthly" for the World Series-Final) give every rally in the event +1 in "Events Started", but you get only 1 "Events Ended" when you finish the entire event. That means for the mentioned monthly with 5 rallies, you get +5 "Events Started", but only +1 "Events Ended". Not right. Can you repeat/simulate the problem?: Yes, happens always and always the same way. In any monthly (Promotional, Bonus, Community Challenges and AI Challenges, but not in Career). The problem does not affect dailies and weeklies. It persists since launch of the game and I reported it in spring last year already and hope for a fix in the future.

It seems you are one of those guys, who always be right, no matter what someone says, it doesn't matter really...right? You want it to be changed and there is no way around it. I got your point. Mate, you start to annoy me with that topic. I play on a X-Box One S, so it's probably "my" userbase, who holds the game back. Please don't hurt me. I don't get why Codemasters seems to have the "everyone must have the exact same experience"-policy, wich makes no sense really. Probably marketing. But you have to deal with it. If they say no, then you have no choice to A) deal with it or B) to stop supporting Codemasters. I did. I didn't bought GRiD at all, because they didn't fixed the game (DR 2.0) to a point, I would say "ok, that's good, I buy more from them". There are still too many things, that need to be fixed. Especially RaceNet. I hate that "service". I just don't see the point to exclude daytime, just because you and a few others don't like the fog and try to get the whole forum on your side. If I had the choice, I would say, give the One X, PS4 Pro and PC users more options due to better hardware. I hope for a "upgraded" version of the game for the next gen consoles anyway and plan to buy the X...series X...err Xbox XS...whatever. Hopefully the game will perform better on that console. @Topic: I will go with the BMW E30 M3 this season. It's my favourite in that class at the moment, so I use that. Could be interesting in Monaco, the Stratos seems to be stronger there.

@HoksuHoo I don't have problems with Finland (regarding your specific problem with daytime and too much fog), so i would prefer a good mix. Maybe it's a limitation problem with the lower power consoles we have a bit more fog in Finland and no rain. Just a thought. At least light rain would be cool. @Janneman60 And the Stratos? I thought the Stratos would be the best car in H3 RWD together with BMW M3. The Renault 5 Turbo is fast, but very hard to drive in my opinion. Unfortunately the Opel Ascona 400 is too uncompetitive in that class to be a good choice and the Renault 5 Turbo too hard to drive. So it's between the other 4 what I will use. Probably BMW or Ford, not sure yet.

Yeah, watched the quarter- and semi-finals a week ago and it was surprisingly entertaining, but all this talking is a bit annoying. I have the impression, they just talk...to talk...but I have the same problem with other sports and esports-related shows like the Forza streams or F1 in TV. An upload without commentary would be cool 😃

Well, I'm so inconsistent in driving, especially with RWD cars, that I have no other choice to go with at least one spare 😅 I hope the next season starts soon, since I'm on fire playing the game again. Was away for around 2 months and now wanna race again. Not good enough for the top guys, but I have a goal to reach!
